Made the only reason I still played overwatch into a more boring tank from dps and keep on pushing doom counter metas, so happy rivals is out been grinding black panther he’s similar to dps doom and genji
while lacking in mobility compared to doomfist, his playstyle is very similar. I'd imagine you'll play him the most aside from doom, as his core combo of slash to get close + deal massive damage with the shotgun-esque primary to finish a target is nearly identical to the punch + hand cannon headshots up close.
Bro, his leap is 4 seconds. That combined with his wall crawl/vault passive I'd say he's easily as mobile as Doom. Who's a buggy mess and they just nerfed him.
@@Zathren nah doom is way more mobile since he can escape from anything. Hazard has a short escape jump altho if theres buildings he has a better chance. Doom escape is almost guaranteed.
@@ZathrenI wouldn't say the dude who can scale across a quarter of the map in a single second (maybe half with empowered punch on some maps) has as much mobility as someone who can do a short leap and wall climb.
@@ZathrenDoomfist is actually way more mobile, does way more damage, and has more utility and survivability than Hazard. (The slam nerf is honestly not even noticeable anymore.) Hazard's leap doesn't go as far, high, or fast. His biggest utility is in his wall and ult. He's pretty easy to melt with the right damage heroes too. He's still very fun, but honestly I feel Haz could use slight buffs. He doesn't really counter anyone and gets countered very easily. Not sure how to buff him without just making him op and braindead however.
I kinda wish she couldn't eat that ability. Sure it's a "projectile" but it's much less impactful than like Sigma's rock. Out of all the things to not be able to eat this seems fine.
Idk if many ppl know this, but you can shoot anytime During your leap. If you hold down the button you can get 2 shots off leaping for more potential combo dmg

They should ve made hazard’s block on 6 sec cd (cause deal dmg plus ammo regen and is too much value for a sigle button) and doom block on charge with 1,5 sec activation (cause it power the punch and that is only value)
Give Doom his uppercut back, or more of his old passive temporary shields. I think then he could compete much better, also Hog needs his trap. Hazard looks pretty fun and balanced though, even though his design is whatever imo
It’s a marvel how people still play this game when there are new rivals that actually listen to the community, don’t recycle content, has innovated on the genre, does not milk their player base for overpriced cosmetics, and does not make false promises about content that will be releasing
@ I’m not mad, I’m glad that Rivals has more players than OW. Been playing OW since release and am happy they finally have competition. Not sure how much money Activision paid you to glaze them up tho
I love Hazard, but god, i just can't stand his gun . Shooting skinny characters like sombra, kiri, and juno can feel pointless because of how little the spread damage does at any range at all.
the only thing that makes MR worse OW is the lack of a doomfist. There are many glorious heroes there, but there is no doom. Therefore, there are reasons to play Ow

You can oneshot combo people if you throw your wall behind them as you leap then headshot slash them
You can also double jump with holding spece after you press shift for leap. Makes the leap 25 procent longer.
