This is the first time I've heard the Hatikvah translated into singable Mandarin Chinese. It's a bit odd, because they kept the "when our eyes look East" part, which applies mainly for European Jews. But Chinese Jews really need to look Westwards towards Israel, unless their gaze is supposed to go the long way and bypass the Pacific Ocean, the Americas, the Atlantic Ocean, Europe, North Africa, Turkey, the Levant, and finally reaching Israel. Probably easier to look Westwards past the Westernmost Edge of China, past India and Central Asia, past Russia, Iran and Iraq to the Levant and to Israel. But I guess it really depends on if you prefer the Overland route across relatively unsafe territory, or the overseas route through more well established nations that more routinely offer safe passage for travellers. But that's just my 2¢.
