I am genuinely sad (not internet sad - real world sad) after reading all of these hateful comments from what I can only assume are my fellow Jews about how these women are not Jewish. Friends, remember where we came from and what happened to us two thousand years ago. We have been divided - spread all over the world, but now, for the first time in an age we have a home again. We come from all backgrounds, forced upon us by the pain of the diaspora - Caucasian, Slavic, Germanic, Arab, African, Iberian, Indian, and YES, Chinese. We might not look the same, but we are ONE PEOPLE.

Yes, a NATION can be people of other races... that is how many Native American origial peoples describe themselves... and DESCENDANTS of those Jews who escaped annihilation in Jerusalem in AD70, at the advice of Yehoshua (Jesus), for the faithful, happened.... And, if YHWH can direct such Jews to escape a maelstrom to survive, then they are ONE PEOPLE with ONE MINDSET. My own Grandfather, and my Mother were Jews in the U.K., and while they were British, they were Jews also.... And they became Christians during WW2... though in my mind the wrong church was involved... as they did not respect the Sabbath... only very few churches do that... Seventh Day Adventists and Seventh-Day Baptists, that I know of.

The First Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by Babylon in 586BC. Some Jews were moved to Babylon but some Yemenite Jews escaped to southern part of Arabian Peninsula or Yemen. Then, Babylon was conquered by Persia. Jews were released by Cyrus the Great (600BC-530BC) of Persia and Jews returned to Jerusalem and built the original Second Temple.
However, not all the Jews returned to Jerusalem and some Persian Jews moved toward east to Central Asia which was still under Persia control. The most famous Jewish city was Bukhara on Silk Road. The trade with China was mainly done by Bukhara Jews.
According to recently archeological discovery on ancient Chinese before Qin (秦) dynasty (221BC-207BC), today's Chinese were from Shanxi originally 2200BC-2100BC. Before 2200BC, these people lived north or west of Shanxi. More precisely, these people came from Siberia and Central Asia.
Based on Chinese history, Jews was a part of northern invaders and they started to invade toward south in year 48 and they finally settled in Shanxi by year 216. Shiloh became Later Zhao (319-351) emperor and Later Zhao was the first Jewish dynasty in Chinese history.

She is also related to Japanese and Korean, and Central Asian, plus 1.7% Finnish. The most interesting part is that she has two genetic groups as 1) Spain, Algeria, and France, and 2) Portugal.

    Through
DNA test results of my nephew, we had learned that by genes, Yen family is not
only related to Chinese but also related to Japanese, Koreans, Mongols, and
people of Central Asian nations. Y-chromosome
can trace back ancestors for 1000 generations or about 25,000 to 30,000 years. We were taught by Chinese history books that Chinese
ancestors lived in Yellow River region of Shanxi, Henan, and Shaanxi for
    thousands of years. However, according
to the DNA test results, our early ancestors lived in Egypt first, then they moved
to Israel, and then to Mesopotamia. This
is consistent with Bible story as well as history of Assyria and Persia. DNA does not lie.

    A
book published in China by a Jewish descendant in 2011 has an English book
title "Shiloh, Jehu Emperor and His Nationality" where Shiloh (石勒) is the emperor name
called by Han Chinese and Jehu (羯胡) is the Jewish race
    called by Han Chinese.
    My
Taiwanese high school classmates in the US
studied Bible well and they did a research on this Shiloh
family. Shiloh family was from Tribe of
    Dan in Israel.

@Mystery Less History Very strange. I could only find a Japanese book description if I would do a Google search on "Shiloh, Jehu Emperor and His Nationality". In reality, this book can only be found in a couple of library in China and Japan. Chinese do not want people to know their true ancestry. Therefore, a lot of Chinese Jewish history on internet was erased.

I am also born from chinese ancestors who used to be jews. Now they converted to Christianism, but it is known that their ancestors used to practice Judaism. Even though they're not religiously jews, I can still see in my Christian grandfather some similarities between jews mentality. Hhhhh isn't this funny ... Which leads me to think and I wanna remember to people that choosing a religion is not only knowing there is one deity, wich is the case, only one God exist, but it's also choosing a way of thinking. And honestly I think my grandfather kept unconsciously some beliefs that his asian jews ancestors had. If only some people knew that doesn't stop everyone to be different than others, unique people. 😊

A survey on Jin (晉) dialect (ancient Hebrew) was conducted by college students and scholars in Shanxi in 2017. The results were amazing. Shanxi Jews can speak both Mandarin and ancient Hebrew but only one third of them will speak ancient Hebrew with others. One amazing finding is that 40% Shanxi Jews can speak English. Another finding is that Shanxi Jews have a higher percentage of people with higher education.

    As
a Kaifeng Jew said before, "It is most important that I know that I am a
Jew." Genetically, no one can deny
a Kaifeng Jew having Jewish ancestors.
Therefore, it is not important to a Kaifeng Jew if whoever does not
recognize Kaifeng Jews as Jews. I myself
had no idea any connection with Jews until over a year ago when my father
passed away. I am glad that I understand
Chinese Jews now through over one year of research on internet. I am also very glad to share all the

    It
is wonderful that you have found modern Jewish people in Kaifeng.
If you know the Chinese history, the Jewish Chinese are concentrated in Shansi Province
and also scattered all over China. The only problem is that Jews and Chinese are
mixed for at least 700 years when the Ming emperor forced all non-Han race to
get married with Han people. That means
a Jewish man can only marry a Han girl and a Jewish girl can only marry to a
Han man. Any violation to this rule will
    be death penalty.

I spent over 5 years on the subject of Chinese Jews historically and geographically. Historically, Chinese Jews (with Jewish father and Chinese mother) started from 2600 years ago beginning with Persian Jews moving from Persia to Central Asia. Geographically, Persian Jews moved from Central Asia to Siberia, then China, and then back to Central Asia, Caspian Sea and Black Sea area, then finally they had reached Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, and Russia. The descendant of Chinese Jews had reached a 200 million population worldwide but were not recognized by the world due to religious and language issues. I believe that I have finished my research on the subject of Chinese Jews.

    The
Jews of Asia The term "Hakka" was not
originally a designation for a certain ethnic group living in a particular
area. When the term "Hakka" first appeared in household registries
during the Song Dynasty, it was used to indicate "guests" who had
left their homelands to settle down in other parts of the country, in contrast
to residents originally from the area. Although evidence is sketchy, the Hakkas
are thought to originate from the lands bordering the Huang River (Yellow
River) or Shanxi, Henan, and Hubei Provinces of the Northern China of today. To
escape calamity, they would later flee southward traveling through many lands.
They eventually settled down in the Jiangxi, Fujian, and Guangdong Provinces.
Referred to by locals as "Hakka" or "guests", the Hakkas
appeared on the world stage for the first time.
The Hakkas took to the road in five separate major migrations. The
nickname "Jews of Asia" intimates these mass migrations and their
    pioneering spirit.

Jews are not just a religious group but also a race. Judaism talks about one nation, a promise land, in fact their national anthem very clearly mentions it with the phrase "land of zions". A Chinese Jew , Indian Jew, Ethiopian Jew , Russian Jew, etc are not zions and definitely no semite. They are either converts or their Jewish ancestry is so old that hardly any trace of Jewish DNA is left in them. The lost tribes are lost forever. If not then why they all are so different. The only reason I find it justifiable is because of dwindling Jewish population. I am not against it but I always believed that there is lot of emphasis on Jewish blood that all the rabbis make. They put a lot of stress on marrying within the community to preserve the Jewish race and not just religion.

The story of those Jews who escaped eradication by Romans in AD 7, was that Yehoshua (Jesus) made a warning to the faithful Jews, that when they were surrounded with no hope seen for survival, that "way out" was manifested as prophesized, and the fled to all "4 corners" of this Earth as directed, hoping that the women were not at "suck" or pregnant... for obvious reasons in flight by foot. They also exist in Papua New Guinea as descendants of Lavai, and part of the Orokolo tribes... My wife was one of these descendants, and we had 6 children, and adopted another. I have heard of a "jewish" tribe in Far Northern Queensland, Australia as well.

    The
modern Chinese language can be simplified into two groups as the Mandarin
    language and southern Chinese dialects.
The Mandarin language is the common official language for 1.37 billion
    Chinese today. The Mandarin language
only has one dialect that is ancient Hebrew used mainly by people in Shanxi and
Shaanxi today. That is why there are so
many Hebrew words in Chinese language.
Because no Hebrew writing but Chinese characters exist for Mandarin
language, only the sound of Hebrew words are blended into this common official Chinese
    language.

I had been in Shanxi but I could not understand their Jin (晉) language or ancient Hebrew. I was watching a RUclips on pronunciations comparison of Mandarin Chinese and Jin language. Because Jin language is the only dialect in Mandarin Chinese, we still can hear some similarities between two languages. One thing had surprised me the most is that Jin language sound like Shanghainese. It means that my ancestors left Shanxi 700 years ago had brought their Shanxi Jin language or ancient Hebrew with them to Shanghai area. Or we can say that Shanxi Jews in Shanghai had kept their Jin language or ancient Hebrew. No wonder that Shanghai is a center of Chinese Jews.

    According
to the study by a Chinese on Internet, the origin of Chinese can be
traced back to 4,000 years ago. Xia
dynasty (2070 BC - 1600 BC) was established in China by Hagar of Abraham 2070 BC. Shang dynasty (1600 BC - 1046 BC) had roots
with Abraham grandson Esau and his wife Judith.
Esau and Judith 14th grandson established Shang dynasty in
China 1600 BC. After Shang dynasty, Zhou
dynasty was established 1100 BC where Zhou stands for Jews. Zhou people were from Tribe of Dan. Zhou people were descendants of Jacob the
twin brother of Esau. However, no
artifacts of Xia dynasty in China was found to this date. Shang dynasty and Zhou dynasty artifacts could

After 2000 years, Chinese Jews in China have grown to a population over

    Chinese
often used Kaifeng Jews as an example to show how great Chinese culture was
because Kaifeng Jews disappeared in China. Chinese had not thought that Jewish culture
was just influential as Chinese culture especially in Chinese language. In China, other than Shanxi people, Hakka
people is another group of Chinese also called as Chinese Jews by the rest Chinese. Hakka people has a world population of 65
million mostly in China and a 5 million overseas Hakka. Genetically, Hakka people are the closest race
to ancient Han Chinese today. 2000 years
ago, Han Chinese had intermarriages with White Huns or Jerusalem Jews in
    Shanxi. Therefore, Hakka people also
have Jewish genes. Hakka people kept a
good record of their family trees. The
most important fact is that they still keep some ancient traditions of Shanxi
    people.

Now we understand that Chinese originally came from north, west, and south of China many thousand years ago. Therefore, Chinese ancestors came from Mongolia, Persia, and India. For Mongols, they just went down south through Great Walls into China. Persians including Jews went through Silk Road to China. Indians first went north and then joined Persians through Silk Road to China. Buddhism came from India and had strong influence to China for the past two thousand years. Even Shanxi Jews had taken Buddhism as their religion. Therefore, it is difficult for Chinese to realize a large Chinese Jewish population in China.

Two years ago, when I visited Iran, there was about 2 million Afghanistan refugees in Iran. They came from Afghanistan to Iran through Afghanistan or Pakistan borders. Iranian government was checking buses on highways to stop refugees coming into Iran. In Tehran, we saw some Afghanistan kids on streets during day time and they caused no trouble. Their parents were probably working nearby but we could not tell.

    I
was in LA last week. I did a DNA test on
ancestry so I can compare my DNA results with my nephew's DNA results. My nephew also did a one-hour video recording
in Mandarin Chinese on the subject of Chinese Jews. He believes that the history of Chinese Jews
should be important and known to the world through RUclips.

@@1995yuda I did not follow up what my nephew had done with the video. As the video was narrated in Mandarin Chinese and I told the story without any script, probably it was not a good video for presentation. However, the content of this video all can be found from my comments in this video of Chinese Jews from Kaifeng.
