I would think that’s a perfect way to unload. More weight in front backing out is the way to go
Hello Dash. Congratulations on getting your degree. That is quite an accomplishment. I worked my way up from a lowly technician to a non-degree'd engineer back in the 80's, but always regretted not staying in school long enough to get that piece of paper. Oh well. I've also learned that many of the intellectually smartest people I've worked with seem to lack sentido común. Seems that you have both the smarts and common sense. Keep up with the good videos. Even though it is a lot of work, all of us appreciate watching them.
Congrats to the Grad!
I Stopped in today at the RDO dealer in Bismarck yesterday. I told them to say hi to you for me if you are in there shop. I flew in from Seattle to take my dad from the nursing home in Mandan to Florida. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations on your Masters degree Dash. The long, hard schooling battle is over. Good luck with whatever your degree furthers you with.
I got my AV20F grapple shortly after you got yours. I hope to enjoy it as much as your enjoying yours. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Thanks, Bob! I appreciate the congratulations. Im certain you’ll have plenty of fun with your grapple. Probably my favorite attachment. Have an awesome day!
Congratulations on your degree Dash. I know that’s a lot of work and you should be very proud.
Nice video too! Thanks
Thank you, Jim! Very much appreciate that. Thanks for being a great subscriber. Cheers my friend!
Just took that same setup to Bemidji last weekend to mow trails and lift logs for sauna at the deer shack. I like that grapple too.
AV20F came in two weeks earlier. Played with some logs and practiced your float mode you demonstrated. Great tips and worked great. Went into the woods where I plan on using it the most. What a game changer cleaning lots of debris of all sorts. Love it.
Right on man! Im glad it came earlier than you expected and that you've had a chance to use it already. You'll love it, and you're absolutely right, these grapples are a game changer. So much versatility. Congrats! I'm happy for you!
Dash ,I keep a 32" grabby stick next to my shifter for picking up the little sticks, saves my back. 👍 When I mow I can pick them up from the yard without getting off the tractor.
Thats a damn good idea to carry a grabber stick. Im going to have to start doing that from now on haha. Thanks for that tip!!
Gotta love the grapple 🙂👍🏻, congratulations on the degree 👍🏻, have a great one 🙋🏼♂️
Thank you! I appreciate the congrats. Great to be tuned in again (finally). Happy tractoring and keep up the great work with that kubota!
You do a great job on your video's. Keep it up. Thanks for the video 👌
Nice to see that frontier grapple in action. That’s the one I’m getting for my 2025.
It works great! Probably my favorite attachment.
Yes I agree, editing takes up a bunch of time and when you are doing a job and a side hustle, other things, RUclips isn't always priority one. Congrats on the degree and I hope to see more of your videos as time allows.
Thank you! I know you know the grind. YouTubing can be very demanding at times. Great job with your content btw, keep it coming!
@@TheLittleGreenTractor Thanks man, you too, i enjoy your videos.
I am getting the same set up. I liked your video on the grapple I feel better about the it, there are so many grapples on the market. Grapple mania
“that’s what she said”. Ha, love it!! 😂
Those plants at the front of the trailer are so pretty with the purple flowers at 14:32 and at the end of the trailer those trees have yellow flowers at 20:20. So sad that they have to be removed and taken away to the dump. Wish I could have rescued them from that awful fate.
Good to see you again Dash. I do all my work at idle too. No reason to run at 3000 rpms.
Thank you! I agree, who’s in a hurry anyway when your having all that fun?😀
Running at idle doesn’t provide adequate hydraulic flow in the system, may cause damage overtime
Put ya truck in neutral and set Parking brake is the best way
Congrats on the degree , super job. I get my 20F, in theory , mid June. This vid is by far the best demonstration of its use on RUclips. Thanks for your content it’s great stuff. Maybe someday set out brush, rocks, logs at different angels , misc stuff. Then demonstrate different approaches how your grapple would attack the job and why you use different combinations of the 3 different functions. Just a thought.
Thank you! I appreciate the congratulations. And thank you for the ideas. I’ll see if I can address some of them in a future video.
That may be when they all ship...Mine is do at my Little's Dealer in mid June also...Looking forward to not picking up piles of brush and limb with the forks or loader anymore.
@@chex313 it came in today 6/3. Two weeks early. Maybe yours will come in early too.
@@schoocg oh nice , I am purposely leaving work out in the yard just so I can use it 😀
I like the fact that you have other skills as well ,like welding and such ...Wonder what you daytime job is
Do you know if that tractor with a bucket detached and under the loader arms would fit in a 5x10’ dump trailer? Hard to find any real world measurements out there.
Hey I was wondering why my hydraulic tank overflowed on my truck. I had a load stuck up front and was trying to lower it so I could find more level ground and it was overflowing. Now I know why thanks man.
No problem, John! Glad I could help. Have a great day.
Where can I buy one of those grapples I can't see them online 😫
It's a great grapple isn't it... with the wider single lid, you can reach between trees and drag things outward. Really enjoy mine!!!
Excellent video!
How much did your dump trailer cost? It seems to be very versatile.
Hey Jason! The dump trailer is great. I purchased it last October for about $9800 after tax title and licensing. I'm glad I bought it when I did, steel prices are much higher this year.
Sorry if you have a video but how did you get started and are you an actual llc or do you just do this on the side
Do you have the factory 3rd function or aftermarket?
Hi Kirt, I have an aftermarket diverter from Artillian. I guess its not technically a true 3rd function but it works very similar. I like it so far, and it was fairly easy to install myself.
Only tractor people will understand the connection to the tractor and the work....Congrats on graduation, it's a big deal......
