👏🏼 Me too but I know I need to be married before studying at Zaytuna. I wanted to so many times but didn't apply because of this very reason.
Shaykh Hamza Yusuf never seize to amaze me. Truly he's a gift to the Western civilisation.
We face so much in this our world,
It’s hard to take it in.
In reality, the truth be told,
We only face our sin.
A battle rages in our souls
and each must play his part.
Some will use the head to fight
While others use their heart.
The belligerence in every soul
Will end when we find peace.
But fight we must with heart and head
For this plague to ever cease.
The heart, the head, so must we choose?
Might there be another way?
In Alvin’s books it’s clear to see
That both are on display.
On every page, he rules the day
And does so with such ease.
But a stumbling block for lesser minds
Is that daunting Plantinganese.
May God bless this heart-filled heady man,
May his pen overcome their sword,
May his truth live on in the books he wrote
In defense of a guiltless Lord.
And for those who deem his thought unsound
Or that his beliefs are odd,
They’ll have to wait till Judgement Day
To have it explained by God.
I have come to a conclusion that there are true lovers and believers of God everywhere and every religion against atheism immorality. Alvin Plantinga is one of them. May God bliss him and guide him to Himself. And most important thing is this: how great is Shaykh Hamza yousuf,it can be seen from the way Alvin Plantniga and all the audience were so absorbly listening to him. They were try to pick ever word he uttered. These are people of trure knowledge and ture humans and a source of our inspiration and aspiration.
When he speaks, it is eloquent and profoundly beautiful, you can't help but keep smiling. Look at the audience

This is the side the world loved about our civilisation and we sadly lost! Intelligent, humble, charismatic and the true creature of beautiful civilisation. People who, elevated human being! Thank you so much for your effort to restore that image! May Allah bless you.

His speech is too heavy for the simple minded 😂
I would rather say that his speeches are easy to understand because he possesses a great deal of eloquence and clarity in his speech.
At least he got one thing right. Saying “theology “ is like mentioning alchemy or studying unicorns.
Talking about other people having faith may work with the slowest kids in kindergarten, but it always fails with rational adults.🙈
8:01 "Why're our minds so perfectly adapted to understand the mysteries of the universe?". Sorry dude, our brain is just a couple of notches above the chimpanzee. We understand very little about the known universe. "God" has always been our simplistic answer to everything that we don't understand.
