Shenzhen’s public housing basically looks like this except the kitchen and toilet are a bit basic. It costs less than 200€ a month excl. utilities. There is a long waiting list tho.
usually only a washer, the machine we bought is a washer + dryer but we still end up hanging clothes since you have to run the dryer for a long time haha

This is not a "western-style" apartment.. it's just minimalist modernist...it's used everywhere.
