I just got my 13th IPL hair removal treatment and the results have been getting worse; the hair seems to be growing back faster and thicker than before. This is unfortunately a common occurrence and should be talked about more.
i recommend whenever you shave (usually i shave once a week) wait two days until the hair is only tiny bit visible, this will allow the machine to see it more clearly.
What percentage of ppl end up seeing skin irritation like rash or even burns. I'm looking at reviews and the possibility of burning myself is holding me back from buying
I was so scared of mine too! But finally tried it today and the lowest setting couldn't hurt anyone. Just feels really warm. The light isn't too bright to not look at either.
I order my lumi December 28th and received Jan 5th today is Jan 24th I’ve been using my lumi almost 3 weeks and I have already been seeing results especially near my jawline and sideburn area the hair isn’t growing back loving it so far
Hi i did laser hair removal last month by a profesional but it's costly and she said I would need like 10 sessions for results I have pcos and facial hair I saw this and is interested in it do you think it works on facial hair?
Hello, i got one of this, but the second time i use it the flashes stops during the treatment? Do you have idea what is the problem why the flashes stops?
If the device is overheating it might stop on its own to cool down. Most of these devices have a cool down function. Also lifting the device and moving it to the proper skin position instead of gliding it across will help with it sensing that it is on skin as well.
I don't know if thise specific device can 🫢 but i got a similar one for at home use and have used it on my bikini line. I would just stay away from going to close to any delicate private parts because of the possibility of accidentally burning yourself. And use the lowest setting for those areas
Im as hairy as can be, i dont want people looking at my monkey skin tho 😂 Ive done ipl and it definitely works but it takes time, consistency and patience. I definitely have fewer hairs. Now im just waiting to see if eventually they do grow back, but so far so good.
But you need to shave before using it, so obviously they're gonna be hairless. Like yes with other products like razors or waxing it's annoying when they do it on a hairless body, but for this one it is the only way of using it
They now have a place on the website for you to enter in what your skin tone is and the color of your hair. Give it a try! I’ve seen some positive reviews for brown skin black women.
I got white skin, and hairs ranging from blonde to black. I got myself one that was 1200mn which is waay above what google said was needed (800mn) and zapped every area on my body 7 times on the highest setting just to test. by the 5-7 zap it hurt a lot. thenh I went over the area with tweezers and every single hair was still firmly attached to a strong root. shit doesnt work, or is simply too weak. maybe what we actually need is 2400mn zaps

does shaving too smooth affect the result? also can u do it everyday to speed up the process??
it doesnt matter how you shave, and no you shouldnt do it every day. it wont speed up the process and will only irritate your skin
@@m-bookie thank youu ❤️

No, as long as the root of the hair is still there, the laser should be able to target it if the hair is dark and thick enough.
Shaving is necessary about so don’t burn your skin .. so it have nothing to do with the growth
We have to shave every time before using this product right???
yahh

Hyperpigmentation is a possible risk.
In everyone or in people with darker skin tones?
pale people can't have hyperpigmentation from anything cause of lack of melanin@@nenamichelle
Do I need to shave, before I use it
Yes, you need to shave the day before using the device
Can i put IPL gel while doing the treatment?

Hello, i got one of this, but the second time i use it the flashes stops during the treatment? Do you have idea what is the problem why the flashes stops?
Maybe because it’s not in proper contact with the skin. If the area is too dark for treatment, it might stop automatically too.
