My dad passed a few years ago and I never did have a great relationship with him. Makes me smile when I see you and your son go out and share experiences
A decent upbringing , by decent patents has a lot to do with how far you get in life
Yeah, i was thinking the same too. Charlie is a lucky guy.
Bless you Andrew
Harry is the coolest dad I can imagine! He's a watch enthusiast, a vintage and sports car lover, a genuinely calm and intelligent person. And can also drive like a pro racing driver, can go dirtbiking at a senior age where most people would have trouble getting up from in front of the TV... incredible! Long live Harry! :)
Harry you sounded like my dad giving me driving lessons. “Slowwwwwww” 😆
😂😂 that's me and my son!
😆😆😆
My dad had the good sense to pay someone else to teach me! I think Harry should probably get one of the track instructors to do the same for poor Charlie here.
Or mine in my first car ( an old worn out Ford ) ... When he came back he said "You know son, that car has no brakes". I didn't know the difference. I imagined in all cars you had to stamp on the brakes ...
That's the first thought that came to my mind as well, especially being asked to slow down!
Harry telling his son repeatedly to slow down reminded me of "Samir, you need to listen ... listen, please... you are breaking the car, Samir"
Hahahahaha his reply Shut Up 😀
🤣🤣🤣 legendary video
What a star George is. So great to see such young talent and passion.
It was nice to see the young fella who was working on the Rolls. It's nice to see him do a good job and he should be proud of his work. Looks great.
Not a word of "shut up already" out of the kid the whole time, he clearly loves his Dad.
Tbf, decent sons wouldnt say shut up to their dads
@@salvi1398 he's been brought up well
When your dad owns a garage full of amazing toys and then gets to review even more amazing toys you can't complain.
You are aware this has been edited.
@@amilton2128 ..so basically.. what you're saying is.. between takes.. he was kicking his ass. lol
Harry to his son- "don't be a hero on the first lap"
Harry on his first lap- *puts on cape*
It's not Harry's first lap, he's been doing it for years but it is his sons first ever lap of goodwood
@@terrygoshawk Harry on his first lap, *that day- *Puts on cape*
My bad, didn't realise I had to be so specific when having banter.
@@JambonJovii i just thought you hadn't heard it correctly when he done the intro
Harry , I'm really blown away by young George and his enthusiasm.
Where did you see that? He seemed completely casual about everything.
George seems like the kind of guy Iain Tyrell would employ, loves what he does and expects to get everything back to factory or better.
@@johnsmith1474 casual because he's good at his job, not because he's disinterested.
Watch the young lad who did most of the bodywork on Harry’s Roller! He’s got some talent!
If you like Harry's Garage, it's most likely because you like Harry's delivery, and style. You'll love Harry's Farm.
Yes! Not only that, Harry makes some “complicated” topics look simple and logical.
Really enjoyed the episode explaining the methane/cows and climate change.
Hi Harry, Could you do a Talk-Over video of the London concors ?? I know it can be a bit under par this way, but your die-hard fans will understand and still be keen to view.
I was thinking the same thing.
@@victor-uranium Yes please - This!
Right that’s it, I’m applying to be adopted by Harry. I’ve a full driving licence and my own helmet. Can’t wait! But seriously, what a selection of fantastic projects and activities. Really fascinating to see how great life can be. I think it’s Great Harry shares his collection, with such superb communication and story telling. His videos are like a weekly therapy. Good stuff Harry! (Adoption forms are in the post)
Charlie giving it pain whilst you were telling him to slow down had me in stitches! Tremendous video and update, thanks for sharing.
Lived in Glasgow city centre all my life, now drives by a field thinking 'They must be spraying pre-emergent glyphosate'😂
If you've not watched Harry's farm you're missing out.
Harry's a scammer living of subsidiaries he can't make a profit and hardy employees anyone btw no capital gains tax on farms or classic cars or watches
@@markwilliams5654 However, he can type a grammatically correct sentence that makes sense.
@@markwilliams5654 Cope and seethe.
Simple reply Jonny, it made me laugh.
Brilliant reply. We live in Lincolnshire and am always explaining to my other half what the farmers are up to, as I'm now a Harry's Farm expert in farm vehicles, crops and pesticides and what cabbage stem flea beetle is 🤣
Great to see lads like George learning skills to keep these lovely old cars on the road.
Harry as passenger in Yaris:
"Charlie, slow down. You're not setting a lap time."
Harry as driver in Jag:
Pushes right foot firmly against carpet and keeps it there!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Every serious driver hates being a passenger.
Harry has been on that track more times than he has made videos on Jaguars. It was his son's first lap on that track ever.
HM does seem to have a lot of audio problems, and to be fair so does Jay Leno. Is there something called a throat mike ? which I believe picks up the sound from your throat. To be truthful I do not know the answer.
George is ace. Great to see young people so skilled and knowledgeable in a trade.
What I would give to have a Father/ son relationship like you have and the opportunity to drive these incredible cars on these amazing tracks
Relaxed Father/Son bonding session!
Welcome aboard George, it's great to see you again Charlie (although I was a little bit worried that you'd give the old boy a heart attack) and well done Harry for encouraging these young ones.
George is a gem, he will go far.
Charlie - listen to the Master! 😂
Seeing the Arctic Rolls well on its way to a spruce up brings a huge smile to my face.
Its about time we see “Harry & Charlie do Nürburgring” and Charlie not even holding the FM handle when Harry puts the Project 8 through its paces
"Sounded like a Dad... Slow, slow slow..." Marvellous father and son moments there, wonderful!! I learnt a lot too!
Harry: You're Learning Charlie, not setting lap times
Charlie: Setting lap record
That panel for the wing on the Zagato is awesome. The skill to do something like that....! Fantastic.
Both channels are great Harry, I really don't watch normal TV anymore!
Good chat with George doing the Roll's nice to see a young man with skill and bags of enthusiasm. it would be great if you did a series showcasing the immense talent and skills being practised up and down the country in garages and workshops etc. Can't rely on tv these days they are a lost cause.
I don't know about the U.K. or Scandanavia but here in New England winter salt is initially dropped in the middle of the road, then to spread out on its own. There is a marked propensity for the drivers side to rust accordingly. Your right, our left. Very irritating! Thank you, Harry for everything!
Fantastic! I have have 5 sons and I loved the worried dad talk; go Charlie, what a star!!!
The project 8 is very serious! Loved it. I have to say Harry, your car and bike collection is fantastic, it really represents the loves and likes of a true enthusiast.
Happy to hear Harry say he is happy to spend money on a Litchfield suspension...if only all UK RUclipsrs were like that !
Hahahaa he is never going to hear the end of that, servers him right.
Harry, you gave Charlie your genes, that’s probably enough. We were all invincible at that age!
Harry, if it’s just audio problems with the show footage you could do a voice-over?
Yes, please!
I had the same thought as soon as he said that...so I echo your suggestion!
It almost goes without saying that pretty much *everyone* would love to see something on that! Go on Harry, please!
I thought the same thing. It would be great
I agree.
Brilliant video Harry and Charlie.
I could just see Harry was nearly wishing for a Yaris with duel controls like those ones you see being used for driving lessons.
Slow...SLow...SLOW!! :)
The slight drop in the Yaris suspension really gives it a tougher stance even though it's already a pretty feisty wee thing.
And fair play to George, he clearly has a love and dedication for what he does so that will stand to him in his future career, best of luck to him.
Harry's farm garage. Best part of the weekend...
Harry is the new Poster Boy for us over 60’s. Easy-going, determined and focused and a mine of knowledge on nearly everything. This vlog also includes lots of new footage - how does he fit it all in??
A harsh contrast to most boomers over 60 who spend all their time doing Google research and spreading misinformation about COVID.
Ahhh, the first trackday and the fearlessness of youth. I can just about remember that...
The howl of the Jag sounds heavenly.
5:28 "way too fast for your first lap ..... slow .. slow ... slow" (Harry wanting say: dammit Charlie, I said slow the F down!) 🤣
Not was Harry saying wow he can drive!
'Enjoyed by some', typical Harry understatement. Harry's farm is probably the best thing on any screen right now.
What you call a full life. Love it.
Really enjoyed the Goodwood footage. My dad taught me to drive, I never had a formal lesson. Just the two of us in his Company Renault Scenic every single day. I distinctly remember that Every second word out of his mouth during those lessons was SLOW. He got me through the test first time though, in only three months after my 17th birthday.
Litchfield’s invoice is OK to be forwarded to @mrjww🙏🏻👍
Harry is so normal. So objective yet cordial and what a great Dad.
Charlie is ready for the Jaguar Harry.
Charlie ain't going slowing down, Harry! 😅
charlie didnt did he
Never thought the day would come when my dream car from the 1970's/80's would look old, but the Countach finally does. I'm glad I had the pleasure (stress?) of owning two of them
..I could feel Harry's stomach churning on the Goodwood track..and fantastic to see the craftsmanship in the car renovation projects
Fantastic insight into what’s happening in the Garage… I’m sure all of us watching love living the life we wish for vicariously through Harry. A brave man going out as a passenger with his son on a racetrack!! 😆😱
Good to see the old RR getting done up.
i hope george gets to see the final product
what a Great Dad,...... one of the best videos, of so many....
The sound of the Project 8!!
Watching you with your son and your collection, reminds me of me and my dad. We are trying to start our own collection as we both have the same enthusiasm. Cherish the moments. We are up to 3 vehicles now but the 4th one will be a struggle since we got no room for it 😅.
While I enjoyed watching the combine harvesting just now and have watched Harry’s Farm since it started this is more interesting. That said I suspect most people who love this will also find the Farm channel interesting albeit different! Definitely worth a look👍👍👍
Reminds me of my dad teaching me how to drive at 15 years old. Haha. Great video.
The Lancia Zagato 1600 is one of my favorites in your collection. I have to admit I was really disappointed to see how much body work it needed. But now, in hindsight, I realize that one of the upsides to that necessity of work is that it gives those genuine craftsmen a chance to shine. The car will surely be a long lasting testament to their skills. I also get the sense that many years down the road young George is going to be one of those master craftsmen given how careful he has been to get things just right on the Arctic Shadow. Great video.
Hah listening to Harry as a passenger is hilarious! It always feels much faster in the passenger seat when you aren't the one in control. Charlie did well!
Charisma just flows out of Harry and his enthusiasm is addictive.
Love a mixed up video like this but really always watch every second of all of them 🙏🙏🙏🏴
Seriously funny to watch your guide of goodwood as a terrified passenger. I'm amazed they let mere mortals drive around there - it scares the life out of me.
My dot was properly puckered at the speeds the corners and chicane was taken around Goodwood - until I remembered I was watching this at 1.5x playback speed. That was exhilarating! 😆
Harry is living the live, a grown up Jeremy Clarkson would have had.
I think both of your channels are first class and love watching both of them well done.
When can we expect an experimental merger of the two channels?
Perhaps we could witness the Espada hauling a rotary tiller around a field. I can certainly envisage a Project 8/potato planter hybrid. After all, the Project 8 is essentially a scaled-up _Vitelotte._ And anyway, 'vitelotte' means _high-speed_ in European. See, there's tonnes of unapparent connections between both channels!
I've never seen anything like it on RUclips before, so there's your niche. Fresh content, fresh produce. Winner!
I think your son did rather well for his first time out. Maybe on the first couple he could have went a bit slower but for his first track day it really wasn’t bad at all. I can see that being him getting to know the Yaris quite well on road to know the limits before getting on track. I’ve never been into bikes much. I know they are the ultimate if you want speed but the security of 4 wheels I’d prefer. As for the work on the cars, I must say I like the Jag the most, you are transforming that into a show car now without meaning to. If I ever get the chance to go to the UK, your garage is going to be the first stop for me, I’ve admired you for years and I doubt that is going to change. Keep it up Harry, this and the farm. Love them both!
Harry as Dad-Passenger=😱...Harry as driver = 😈
Harry's Garage, Harry's Farm and Harry's Bikes. This man is busy.
Sunday treat: Harry's Garage AND Harry's Farm vids!
Such a cool collection, and as Richard Ashcroft once said ' lucky man '.
Love the father- son track tuition.
that project 8 sounds amazing
I get the feeling that Harry also shouts slow when Charlie is in the combine!
excellent update. George could be your sidekick like Kaleb Cooper is to Clarkson!
I know plenty of friends who spend nearly 2K on MTB shocks. I know reducing stiction (static friction) on MTBs is down to the qualify of the seals. It's easy to have good sealing but that increases stiction. Good seals are precision made to very tight tolerances - so there are no gaps dirt can get through and no pressure points anywhere to cause friction.
Harry's Farm is a great channel - totally fascinating from a city-dweller like myself.
Goodwood is a tricky circuit! Charlie did well on first time! Looked properly fun in that Yaris!
Charlie did very well. Harry sounded pretty nervous, but that’s to be expected. Most good drivers I know are not good passengers. Something about lack of control. Btw. Welcome to Harry’s wonderful life! He is living to the max.
I didn't comment on the last Lancia video, because i was gutted because of the state of it. I was also very relieved that you wanted to carry on, as that car deserves to be saved. I'm SO happy to see how well it seems to be doing, in the hands of proper craftsmen. Can't wait to see how it's going, when you find the time to go visit
Can’t wait to see the jag return in that dbx green ,gonna be stunning.
Thanks for the update Harry, thoroughly enjoyed it. Your P8 certainly isn't for the faint hearted, the rate the numbers climbed on the speedometer between bends was impressive & your son was a little more relaxed in the passenger seat than you were ;)
Shmee gets a loud banging exhaust, Harry cares about the handling! The P8 was getting a move on.. wow!
Definitely would let George work on my cars in the future! Seems like a top man with great work!
Such a nice coincidence that I just commented on your most recent Harry's Farm video about how heart-warming it was to see father and son working together so well and then I check this video out to see even more of that in action. Go Charlie Go! j/k It looks like it was a really great time. Thanks for sharing it. If anyone's unsure about checking out Harry's Farm I can tell you that I didn't expect to get as hooked on it as I have become but it is definitely something I look forward to every Sunday so give it a look-see.
That Yaris seems like a boatload of fun!
So funny Harry, ‘We survived’ 🤣 you sounded like Wallace from Wallace and Gromit fame! We survived!!
George is an absolute legend 🤙 talented young lad👍
Damn that Jag sounds killer going past on the main straight.
Annoying Dad, along for the ride imagining HE is actually the one driving :)
I'm a fast driver and yet I can't bear to be in the passenger seat with someone going quick.
That's a pretty slick manual box on the Yaris...love the nice smooth changes he was making, quite effortlessly apparently.
Bwahahaha. That’s exactly what I sound like when my son is driving. This is absolutely amazing. Thank you Harry. Great job Charlie.
That project8 is a MONSTER!
My God that Project 8 sounds incredible!
Nice round up of the goings-on in the Garage. I agree that Harry's Farm is a must see every week. Thanks for providing all this content!
It was wonderful seeing Harrys collection at the London Concours! I did do a video on the event from a visitors point of view. This is the first time we have seen Harry in full 'Dad' mode, I sure It does not happen often.
A life fully lived indeed!
Now everyone come join us, sign up for Harry's Farm!
Good work George!
“Way too fast for your first lap” 😂🤣
I always enjoy all your videos Harry for some reason I liked this ‘round up’ style even more - great stuff! While my Dad is into cars as well he loves farming and machinery as well and has been throughly enjoying Harry’s Farm. Keep doing what you’re doing as it’s a pleasure to watch!
6:45 is the point at which Charlie decided to blank out Dads voice
Love the repair work segments Harry, loving the progress on each of your babies.
Thanks for round up. Great video. Good luck with the harvest. Respect to you farmers.
