For 360, ps3, switch, wii u, 3ds, vita, Sega saturn, and og xbox emulation, you should check the compatability list on these emulators' websites. This mini pc can definitely emulate ssbu, botw, mario odyssey, and other AAA switch games. Luigi's mansion 3 isn't fully compatible with yuzu. Higher end emulators also have to compile shaders. It'll slow down when a new shader is compiled, but once it's compiled it won't slow down again. Shader compilation also depends on the game. I'm also possitive that this pc can emulate AAA Xbox 360 and ps3 games as long as they're compatible with the emulator. Some games like mgs4 aren't fully compatible, but can be played perfectly if you use a custom build of the emulator or maybe change the settings. Some of these emulators' websites tell you the best settings for each game. There will still be some games that won't run well no matter what you do, but these emulators get updated and should eventually be able to run these games.

I like to put together PC's as a hobby. But I find for the price to performance the pre-built mini PC with Windows 11 Pro included is a great way to go for a gamer on a budget.
Both Overlord 1 and 2 are available on both Steam and GOG. I did replay Overlord 1 and Overlord 2 around late 2020 on a slow Ryzen 3 3300U mini PC, and both game ran amazing at 1080p. I highly recommend getting Xbox 360/PS3 era games on Steam as long as they are playable.

I have a different brand mini pc with the same chip and can run lots of pc games, especially games from a few back run pretty good 900p with medium setting ish.
I remember Overlord. It's been a long time since I've heard anyone bring it up.
This might be the future for pc gaming. 😮😮😮 if it's able to play those type of games and pack some decent specs on there.

I've got the R5 5600U version of the AM06 Pro, as the R7 5800U version wasn't available at the time I got it. It's a great PC.

What a great game overlord is! From the humor which could be sometimes dark and warped, to the little gremlins, to beating the crap out of Melvin… everybody should play this game! I wish too that they would do a remake as it would be brilliant as an darker alternative to Pikman.
I just got a Mac mini refurbished with the M1 chip for about $420. It runs emulators, (including Ryujinx) really well.
How well are we talking? Did you boot camp windows on it? I’m curious cuz I have a 2011 Mac mini I was using emulators on and it definitely had its limits.

I have the M1 iMac and it flies compared to my old Intel model. 2 years on theyre getting even more impressive for creative stuff, but the M1 if you can find them second hand still give a lot of bang for your buck. But these Mini PCs would still be cheaper and probably better value for this purpose

Overlord is one of my favorite games, and i do talk about. Have both on PC, PS3 and X360. I also have the Wii Overlord game.
That is a nice piece of machinery. Windows and emulation, you can't go wrong.
I use my Atari VCS ruining Windows 11 to emulate games. I don't care to play newer PC games as I already have a gaming PC. But it works really well.
I've seen a lot of those on amazon...some seem to good to be true...saw a 64GB 2TB with I think higher end i5 one from some company i never heard of for about 375. I was tempted but cautious.

Yeah I have a gaming PC but I want something to hook up to my TV to emulate on. About to hack my wii and use that for a bit, but can definitely see myself getting one of these for emulation.
Now your also into emulation, maybe it is interesting for people to talk about the Coinops builds, very interesting and a easy setup to turn your mini pc into a arcade / console cabinet

I wanted to buy this moddel but decided to pay $40 more and get the 5800H ($309) higher watt cpu allowing for faster speeds instead of this moddel with the 5700U ($269) lower watt cpu.
If I could play Mario kart and assassin's creed, I'll be happy.😅

I bought a mini PC some years ago. I keep it under my TV. It's still going strong. Bought it from Amazon after watching some reviews.

Which one did you buy? You can see the Ser 5 pro highlighter how many watts it uses since the ser 5 ( none pro) , was locked to less watts

Simpsons Road Rage was a lot of fun, I had it on the ps2. Probably the best Crazy Taxi clone I’ve played.
Overlord killed my old PC, every game ran fine, but Overlord would BSOD every hour or so, after 5 crashes over two weeks, the GPU never came back to life.
Never dared to touch it since then, but it might be time for a revisit.

Might as well just get a 14 inch gaming laptop like the asus G14. Hands down the best portable gaming laptop on the market for like $1,200. It's held up about 3-4yr for me and play just about any game just fine. Even flight simulator
The only issue I see is storage capacity I would love something like this with a 2TB M.2 to play all the systems potentially and just load it with many consoles/games
preetty sure you can customize these as well and put more storage in. If you want at least you can get a external SSD or something for it like I am with my laptop.

It's crazy to see how much power they can pack into these mini PC's now. Great review but there are two downsides to this. 1- upgradability, being a very small form format means upgrades to the graphics card a few years down the line will be very difficult. 2- Heat, all small form factor PC's suffer from poor cooling, especially when gaming.
This one sucks and has a old chip even the Ally surpasses it by a mile
yeah well you're buying a disposable mini pc, not a mini case, that's a different market altogether
there isn't even a graphics card, it uses Vega 8 Integrated graphics which is slightly better than a ps2 or original xbox

You are correct it's a beast. Have another i7 Intel mini couldn't run GC , but this one can. This one was a few dollars cheaper too.

I have next to zero knowledge when it comes to pc gaming. I’m interested but have no clue where to start. The steam deck seems like a neat option. I’m definitely not biased towards any system. I have them all. PC gaming just seems overwhelming.

I am between the BosGame PC B100 (N100) or the Beelink 12s (Also N100). bosgame is MUCH cheaper but specs seems the roughly same.

i wouldnt say it runs elden ring. that frame rate is chuggin. but dont get me wrong this mini pc is an awesome buy for the price point. wish i waited to buy my son one. i spent the same price on a 5500u model i think it was. this has a better nvme, and at least 5 to 10 more FPS on all games.

its cheap.f you're only playing less resource hungry games, you cant do much better considering its a whole desktop as well. USED laptops with this processor are going for $500+. its like saying a 50K truck you got for 20k wasnt cheap/a deal. if you only have $400 in your account, this definitely wouldn't be worth $329 of it though.

I just had to turn of vsync and it ran smooth.
I ended up ordering this but I got 32 instead of the 16 the price wasn’t a big difference.
My Beelink was 32GB too... and when you open it to upgrade, all components inside are Crucial so decent quality!

When I hear the name Overlord I think of the anime which I don't think this game is based off of.
I don't like Souls games either which is why I didn't play Elden Ring.

@Modern Vintage Gamer would be disappointed in this video. this mini PC contains the IDENTICAL graphics capability as the last mini PC that was advertised -- however with a low power processor instead of high power.... furthermore!!! now we're claiming Vega 8 can handle ps3 and 360...?! get a GPU 5x more powerful and you STILL won't be able to run those reasonably. this is absurd
this is preying on buyers who aren't familiar with hardware capability... knowingly or unknowingly... you decide... but that's what's going on
