@Themagiciannathan just Half Dollars. You could maybe go smaller, but I didn't experiment with that. I think you wouldn't want to do anything smaller than a half dollar anyway.
@@RickHolcombe I got Kennedy half dollars! so question I got my tunnel and do you have this issue when you put the coins in one side and turn it over the “gimmick” easily works but when you put the coins in the other side it’s like the coin is so tight the “gimmick” won’t allow it to move freely?
You may want to experiment with other coins. Kennedy's can be slightly thicker since they were less circulated. And if they are nickel-clad they won't wear down like the old silver coins. I have had no issues with the coins getting hung up.
What a Awesome routine for this. I have this and love the double batteries you performed. Twice as good as what I was doing. Thank you for all the tips on handling. David
Looking forward to your m-box review - big fan of your coin box work and the m-box technology is definitely bringing something interesting to the coin box party.
When I went to Ghana to visit my in-laws, I brought this with me along with other magic props. This one always had security wanting to check my bag to see what it was. If traveling with this prop, put it in your checked bags to save some headaches. Other than that, money well spent on this or any other TCC product I have purchased so far.
Great review. I received mine last week and I am very impressed by the quality. The basic trick and magnet routine taught are solid and accessible by beginners with some practice. If you have any sort of coin chops then I think you can come up with some really fun routines. I agree with Rick, that this has a chop cup vibe to it.
Great idea for this Rick! A really nice routine. Lately, I've been getting away from most of the mainstream magic dealers that carry hundreds of thousands of items. I now prefer the companies that carry a limited line of very high-quality props and effects. TCC has been on my list for quite some time now. I just ordered this a few days ago. I got a couple of Grandma's Miracle as well which is a great version of the trick. Thanks again Rick, be well....
Hello Rick from a little French magician, superb presentation of Tunnel TCC, with your version of the black hole I love it...I'm going to make this trick in 2 versions including a jumbo one, passing a thought to Mr David Roth.. . Magically SEB
Great review and performance Rick, all in that soothing calmness that you display...so much so, you can't tell what the Cons of the product were. LOL. I love the battery finale. I was wondering if you looked into getting the large magnet for the ending posed in the tutorial...and yes, I have this and agree with you on the quality. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.
Is this from TCC or Acme, Inc.? (ala Buggs Bunny and While E. Coyote) AWESOME! I have my Coin Funnel from 1997 in stainless steel. For my finale, I load a AA battery! Blows minds.
This product is very beautiful, it has a lot of craftsmanship, but it is very cumbersome, in mine the coin gets stuck on one side, sometimes it gets trapped. The magnets are not strong enough to hold the two parts together. After playing with it a lot, I do not recommend it...☹☹😭😭😵💫😵💫
The Battery bit at the end is Fan-freakin-tastic
Thanks Chaim!
@RickHolcombe what size coins can you use?? Can I use Eisenhower dollars or US Quarters??

Thanks! I also like the idea of the "black hole" to add the reason for the penetration.

The magnet is cool, but I really didn't see the point. Maybe it could be tied in to a routine. But I already had the batteries!
Excellent review - appreciate your efforts
