I always had a love and hate relationship with this mans football career. As a United fan I hated him when he was at Chelsea and envied him about his success at Inter. Disappointed about his tenure at United, but nothing but respect.
Will go down as one of the greatest!

@@kiki7340 He won more (3) than every other Manchester United manager after Ferguson (2) combined, and he had the best league finish after Fergie (2nd when no one else could do better than 4th). Ferguson retired when he did because he knew the talent was on its way out.
What a legend and he deserves alot more respect then he gets.
The thing he did in Inter and Porto was a masterpiece.. he broke records with Real MAdrid... and he did well in United, but most likely not his best time, but i think the players/board let Mourinho down! Mourinho did his best, but some of the players did not back Mourinho for some reason? Mourinho said this many times in interviews and post match interviews.
Mourinho is a world class manager and deserves respect for his achievements.. He brings so much more to the game and the league he is in! He is missed in soccer, always nice to hear him speak, he is so different!

Many of you fail to see that Mourinho to me is also ambassador for managers. They are now days being fired left and right, and fans need to hear their perspective. We don't understand them and times think of them as disposable and easily replaceable people. Yet, one good manager can turn entire competition upside down when he gets it right.
The ones who don't understand managers the most are Pundits

I’m a Big united fan and it’s great to see Jose with a smile on his face and seeming happy again. Was really hoping for things to work out for him at united but it wasn’t meant to be. He’s still an all time great manager.

@@Timbone07 I truly believe Mourinho did the best he could with what he had. Won the Europa League, EFL cup, and was runner up in the FA cup only because of a penalty. Did better than Moyes, Van Gaal, and I think we can say Ole as well, I doubt he’ll make it through the season with United being 15th at the moment. Just imagine what José could’ve done with players like Giggs, Keane, Scholes, the Neville brothers, players who weren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and give it their all for the badge. He understands football with the best of them, and United has only gone backwards since he left.

Took spurs to a final. Won European silverware at Roma. Mans unstoppable.

No matter how many haters he have, still to me he is one of the respected manager. Well, he is not a perfect manager, there are things that I don't like and disagree about him. Sometimes I find Jose is too arrogant, ego, and overly-confident. Well, the fact is that, that's how humans do. We have emotions. Sometimes, there is points where we do stupid things in life. There is up and down in life. No matter what, I cannot deny the quality of Mourinho. He brings fc Porto, which is an underrated team to the title of the Champions League in 2004, 5 cups and 3 league titles for Chelsea, 2 cups and 2 league titles for Inter Milan, and many other titles with different teams, which I cannot list them all. Yeah, everyone have different opinions. Still I have my respect for this man.

Is it just me or has Jose woke up a bit to his way of doing things?? I think it would do him good to do some kind of courses in mN management again. He was so good at Chelsea the 1st time round and Inter oourse but going to Madrid I believe soured him a little bit to players and he lost his way because he saw that his word wasn't the final word anymore.. It's great to hear him speaking on these issues the way he has because it shows he is willing to grow or is at least trying to grow. What he said about the players u don't have a good chemistry with and making more time for them is huge to hear from him. Good luck to him in his future if he really means what he says but time will tell

Unprofessional questions that had nothing to do with the game, gossips, accusations. I watched every single press conference and 99% of the questions weren't about the game. You can check it for yourself. It is all online. I compared those press events with the ones around Klopp, Pep, Poch and there was a clear Mou man hunt. It was appalling to be honest. José just tells it like it is and people don't like it cos he is not PC enough.

Feel sorry for Jose a bit. The squad was drivel and we can see that now - TOO much deadwood in that squad. The form Ole had them in until last 2 weeks wasn't really anything outside of the form from last year when we came 2nd in the league. I think Jose would've turned it around given another season or 2.
Pogba infuriates me. He plays average far too much. He should be the lynchpin of that team, everything needs to go through him. I love the guy but he seems to play when he wants.

THATS FUCKIN CRAAZY I saw the Chelsea players downtown NYC around 2011 walking around, I was in a pizza spot eating & I casually saw the entire star squad turn the corner, i first recognized John Terry, then I noticed the matching blue & put 2 & 2 together notcied the rest, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba... I was like "holy shit, theres one of the best teams in the world just casually strolling around" I turn to this Australian fella eating a slice & tell him he looks & says "yea so what they're a bunch of pansys anyway" 😄😄
