@@wesmo_ Wouldn't say that, jose just had a winning/siege mentality which would atleast temporarily bring the team closer. While true, he gets tough with his players, people like ibrahimovic said they would kill for the man! Now, his preferred 4 2 3 1 formation as well as his other tactics are slowly being a thing of the past, but what he accomplished with some rather supbar teams (winning the champions league with porto, back to back epl wins for chelsea, the treble with inter and ofc la liga with real madrid) have been storybook perfect

Mourinho was the man which started to put some sand into the gears of Barcelona, and on the end paved the way for Real's dominance um the later part of the decade.
After Fergie, Mourinho was the most successful manager at Utd, with titles to back him up.
He's slowly but surely seeing a resurgence at Roma.
I believe se haven't seen the last Mourinho yet.
As for Pep, his battle now is with Klopp.
But I would always pick José over Pep. Reason: he's a killer at finals. He just wins them.
Pep has lost some finals he couldn't afford to lose.
Chelsea both with Bayern and City are obvious reminders of it.
If ir were Mourinho at those, he would never loose those two.

Mourinho is the ultimate winner, but he is Jekyll and Hyde. With fire and brimstone he's won everywhere, but it also hurts him. He's got a different plan for every game and is ready to change tactics and a moment's notice. Pep is probably the greatest football maestro of all time. He's got one vision of playing the perfect game and when the players execute it's impossible to stop. He's always chasing that vision.

If Mourinho goes to Newcastle I strongly believe it will be another success with the "Chelsea formula". Whats the "Chelsea formula"? Its a strong fanbase, money and a squad with interesting players. Newcastle is not a Champions League team.
With Mourinho they would get some players and will be fighting for top3 easily. If Newcastle gets the Champions League access, for sure Mourinho will be interested. He loves Premier League because in England its "all weekends Champions League matchs"
      Will Mourinho stay at Roma?
I don't think so. He needs Champions League. Roma has no budget. He is annoyed with Roma for not getting the players he needs.
Will Mourinho target a millionaire club so he can try another Champions League final?
      YES for sure, but whom?
I believe it will be between PSG or Newcastle.
But with Zidane unemployed on the market, Guardiola at City and Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool almost done at their clubs, this Summer we will have nice surprises and an amazing swaps at Europe's finest clubs

Just because they have never seen a skipper-keeper or inverted fullbacks in the PL, it doesn't mean Cruyff or anyone else did it before. His influence in that Barca side is not as great as people think when you realize Luis Aragones had Spain playing tiki taka before Guardiola was the first team coach, and Del Bosque did the same. Imagine if he had Messi too in that Spanish team.
That Bayern team was already dominating in Germany and Europe, because they always have top players. He's a serial winner who has won every Trophies in Europe's club football. Mehnm ! This guy was clearly not a real professional footballer..He never set out to be a coach either, rather he came in unnoticed as a mere English translator for a Barcelona Coach, then he suddenly realised the opportunity before him and decided to take his chances. And as an English translator, The little he learnt from watching training session and main matches was enough for him to accept the appointment as a Coach of a division three Club in the Portuguese league..Suddenly,he bust into the football scene, take over and conquered, driven by self confidence, belief, courage, intelligence and passion for the job. Pep is a top tier coach because you a particular type of brain to make the most talented play in a way that doesn’t compromise their true abilities. That’s why Mourinho would never stay long at the top but pep will always be relevant to future footballing schools because not only his style is beautiful on the eye but adaptable in many circumstances and keeps finding tuned adjustments on the opposition’s weakness . To say that inter and Chelsea were underdogs is a bit of a stretch. Chelsea was the first billionaire project, and much like pep with man city, mourinio was brought to a team with an open checkbook that needed expert guidance. And inter was a powerhouse in italy even before he came while juventus was licking its wounds from calciopoli. Even about porto, they were and still are a permanent fixture in the champions and they won in an upset year when Monaco reached the final.. I respect him a lot, I think he's one of the best coaches ever and inter's win over barca in 2010 champions semi-final was the most enjoyable defensive demonstration I've ever seen in football, but non of his teams was an underdog like Leicester city in 2016.

One of the argument against Mourinho is his anti football tactics. But what I think annoys the most elites of football is that Mourinho is an outsider. You can track every manager in Europe and every successful manager, they all at some point were players who played in some European league. Mourinho is the only one who had no professional football cv, he was just a translator who found a spot in management staff. He was not a player who played for lets say Barcelona, Manchester United or Ac Milan. Mourinho in essence proved Arrigo saachi's word "you don't have to be a horse to tame one."
But if Mourinho was completely anti football he wouldn't have won these many titles.
Pep on the other hand is a visionary, he needs to play a certain kind of football and he needs specific players who can play that sort of football. Although pep's football is highly entertaining, he can't manage players like lets say phil jones and win trophies, he can't enter into Manchester United dressing room and work with fellaini. He demands complete football. While Jose is more pragmatic. With pep's style you are not guaranteed to win every match but you will win most of them.
Sir Alex is not a great manager because he won everything with utd. He is a great manager because what he did at Aberdeen same goes for jose and pep. Jose will have the respect of those who understand how difficult it is to manage a non elite club. We can't expect pep to abandon everything and go to Aberdeen and proto but he needs to challenge himself by going to lets say Ajax at the later stage of his career, ajax can produce youngesters who can play pep's style of football. Until then pep will always be deemed as someone who needs an elite club to win.
