The votes for first place came from MW media insiders so I give the poll credibility By the way, Boise St didn't get all but 8 first place votes, not 4, but regardless not only does Boise State have a deep backfield, they added depth at WR as well, Cam Camper and Chris Marshall. At QB, Nelson is a strong addition but he isn't even the projected starter. Maddog Madsen may start. The only concern Boise St has is whether they patched up their secondary.
I wish you would do your homework on bsu. First of all, they return most of their starters, and the ones that aren't returning were replaced by better players besides the right tackle. Second, Dirk Koetter is one of the best offensive coordinators in the country he'll have the offense ready for oregon. Third, this team is the best team in boise since 2010 on paper. If you want the actual information on bsu, bring me on the show so I can educate you.
I'm intrigued by the notion that saying I would pick them to win the league, but that there are other teams closer to them than people think, is somehow hating and a lack of homework.
@LockedOnCollegeFootball It is because they should be heavy favorites based on their roster. And you keep acting like oregon is so much better than boise when that isn't the case. The game is going to be close, barring any major injuries.
@LockedOnCollegeFootball Also, the top G5 teams aren't as bad as you say they are they can compete with P4 playoff teams. For example, go look at Memphis vs Missouri and Tulane vs Ole miss without there starting qb last year. Both top sec teams BTW. The G5 is better than you think, go do some research.
@LockedOnCollegeFootball I was just giving a couple of examples of teams going into this year. There have been plenty of G5 schools in the past that could beat top P4 teams. I would like to do a video with you so I can let you know about the stuff you are missing on bsu. I've seen this program since the 90s, and my dad was a part of this program.
I need to help some of you out. Ashton Jeanty will be the First RB taken in the draft if he doesn't stay for his senior year. If he isn't first RB off the board someone made a mistake.
I'll make this simple, so even you can understand. Jeanty had 6 games where he averaged 65 yards per game last season. Now, it's simple, these were against the 6 best defenses Boise faced in 23. When the defenses Boise faced were awful, his numbers went up. In fact if he faced even average defenses throughout a season, no one would be talking about him. Oh, but he catches the ball too. Wow, that's rare.
@@atgdcommish608 I think he's referring to Boise State having to play Oregon, Washington State and Oregon State this fall. The Broncos could lose all three and it wouldn't affect their conference record.

True. It was 8 #1 Votes.. 4 went to Fresno, & 4 to UNLV; last season's MW Runner-Up.

@@Cameron-sq7bx Interesting you left off Tulane beating 11-2 USC in the '22 season

Remember last season, when UNLV received one first place preseason vote, and everyone laughed?
UNLV then went on to make the MW Championship game
And here we are!
I need to help some of you out. Ashton Jeanty will be the First RB taken in the draft if he doesn't stay for his senior year. If he isn't first RB off the board someone made a mistake.
You must be talking about in Madden lol

Are you trying to say he's not as good as a lot of people think he is?
Wait until the Cougs show up in Boise?
Things may not be so great on the blue 🔵 Turf!
Bro, you lost your head coach and you lost half your team cougars aren’t doing nothing
@@nicholasbowman6067 Their schedule will be much easier this season. The Pac12 was loaded last year.
You're out of your mind 😂
Is this the same Cougs that Fresno State destroyed?
Boise States odds a few weeks ago where +135 now their +110 the odds keep going up
Crazy short odds. Only Liberty has G5 conference title odds that are shorter
Go Gougs!
Welcome to the Mountain West... where the Cougs and Beavs will end up.
I don't say it to be mean... only because it's rarional.
Boise State might not even start Malachi.
Georgia Southern plays well at home!!!
Yes they do. I've mentioned that game on the show before
If water makes things wet, then if you splash water on water then is it wet????
The word "wet" implies that whatever is wet is capable of being dry, which water is not
i think the hype is not real
They have preseason faves for 14 years straight.. how many MW titles have they won in those years?
6
Sco Ducks!
OK. Sure. The Mountain West Conference Champion that’ll likely be something around 8-4 😂
Four MWC teams won 9 games last season. In 2022 they had three 10-game winners.

@@kevinhampton6986 exactly right
Water isn’t wet??😮
No it is not. It makes things wet
@@LockedOnCollegeFootball 🤔🤔🤔
Go Ducks!!!
Lol, no
FRESNO STATE IS BETTER!
Tragic we could only see them play in the MW title game.
You can watch Fresno play in Ann Arbor for the first game on NBC. Unfortunately we don't have Boise on our schedule.
