Kevin, do you have any video about Multiple Linear Regression, in this video you mentioned only regarding single dataset but what about if our data is multivariate which need several trendline. Thank you
Magnificent - I've had people try and get me to learn R just to do this type of forecasting. In the space of 11 minutes - I'm now a confident forecaster! Just like all your other videos - brilliant and easy to follow!
"Let's say you work at, say........a workplace.." XD That was so random. Anyway, I've marked this video. Will definitely reference it when I'm learning. Really appreciate the presence and work of channels like this; helping people upskill themselves.
I am an industrial engineer, I've take forecasting course in University , unfortunately your 11 minutes was more worthy and understandable than that coarse , thank you so much.
Failed my Excel test 3 times because of one question-Forecasting. Watched about 5 videos for clearance. Kevin you just made it so clear. You are the man...🔥💯💯💯 Thank you.
This is a phenomenal explanation of forecasting. So straightforward and simple even though it handles all the tricks of forecasting the trendline, stat. equation, forecasting model. The simplicity of the tutorial is 👌. Excellent job with this video Kevin!!!
Whenever I'm searching for any video and I don't see your tutorial on it, I feel very sad and this is because I find it very easy understanding your tutorials. Thanks alot for all you do.

Wow!! x3 ---- I learned so much in just 11 minutes...and I didn't need to watch the video over again because your explanation was just ...concise, precise!! You're such an efficient and effective Teacher! Thank you so much, Mr. Stravert!
Hey there Kevin. First off thank you for the videos. The way you explain how to use excel and its overall features has been easy to understand. In short, it has been very helpful and has given me more confidence when using this application for my work. Thanks again, I hope your channel continues to grow. Good luck!

Kevin, Could you do a demonstration for sales forecasting? 5 customers, forecasting Sales for next year by quarter. Using 3 years of historical sales by quarter as the basis for your model? Using the forecast function vs. graph? I will use your graph to show sales by industry trending but for budget planning sales forecast by customer is needed to calculate the totals for each industry. Thanks for considering this idea.
This is the best explanation on forecasting. One problem however, is that on Mac, the forecasting function doesn't show. Any workaround? A video would be fantastic!!
I just found your channel. You solved issue which I was sondering about instantly. +1 sub from me! Keep up good work! I would be so gratefull to see more data anlysis methods in MS Excel ;)
Hi Kevin. It was very detailed and informative. Would really appreciate if you made a video on descriptive and inferential statistics with an example the same way as this video.
Hi Kevin, your tutorials has helped me alot. One of my biggest downfalls is understanding Forecasting. I think I got it but I have an issue I want to run by you. We just started a new report in January. It has data for December, January, February but nothing for March, April, May. They held all the data from those months and entered them for June. The problem is how do you forecasting this type of table with such a huge gap?
Great job sir. Thank you; one question, I have daily data inputs for the past month, but using the "Forecast Sheet" It won't let me go out past 1 week? Any help is appreciated! Ryan
Awesome video! Quick question, hopefully you or some of the responders can assist? is there a way that forecasting can be used in a Dynamic way? Ie if you have a good estimate through historical data of what items you are going to use to service a vehicle fleet going, however, that fleet will have ongoing planned reductions can excel forecast what items will no longer be needed?
Nice & concise video. However I can't see Forecast sheet ribbon in my Excel. May be it's not available for Mac. Is there any workaround / other option for the same ?
Nice video, I have data spanning over 32 Cell-Column, and 46,733 Cell-Row. ( That is 32 Columns by 46,733 Rows) Which method can I use to carry out forecast on this data using Microsoft Excel?
Kevin, looks we can use the forecast sheet first and then apply the forecast adding/using the trend line and forward periods. Does that make sense or is that a wrong method?
Can you tell us how to force the trendline to only consider the linear portion of a curved plot, but without removing data points? So that the trendline has a different slope. Thanks.
Thank you Kevin. This was really useful. How to change the exponential Y values into exact values?. For Example Y= 23825x - 5E+07. I want to get the exact values of 5E+07.
I would like to know if you can link 2 workbooks together and when you make changes on either one will it link and keep the formulas on each workbook and same information?
Hi Kevin, When plotting the prediction intervals on the chart, I noticed the chart doesn’t update when you select the log tic box. Is there a way around this or do you know how? I need the prediction intervals to adjust based on logarithmic scale. Thanks
Hi kevin, it does not appear as a calendar on my forecast end instead it appears to choose numerical would u please suggest ?..thank you very much ! :)
Hello, I constructed a trendline for my sigmoidal graph in excel (Concentration vs Absorbance curve) however it generates an inaccurate equation which gives answers outside of the range of my data. What do you think can be the cause of this? Anyone that knows this, please reply. I need an answer as soon as possible.
