Very easy to play and family friendly Virtual Pub Quiz.
The 6 rounds this week are:
1. Picture Round
2. Entertainment Round
3. Sporting Rivalries Round
4. Connections Round
5. Anagrams Round
6. General Knowledge
There are 55 questions with 65 points available (round 3 is two points per question) answers will be given after rounds 2, 4 and 6.
I will be releasing a new Pub Quiz every Friday or Saturday as well as my usual general knowledge quizzes
There will be a Picture, Entertainment and General Knowledge round every week, rounds 3 and 5 will change every quiz, so if you have any suggestions for rounds let me know in the comments and I will definitely have a look and if I think it will work I will put it into a future quiz.

In the anagrams round, you didn't even have an A in the original for "mother in law", but it then mysteriously appeared in the answer! Even then, my OH got the right answer!

Hi Mr Dale, super stoked to be 3rd last week! Yay, go me!!!🤣 51 this week, sports always kills me. Olympics I'm ok with, and motorsport, so got a couple. I got the connection. Loved the anagrams, more please! Although mother in law needs an A, which was missing, never mind, I got it anyway. Always good fun, and looking forward to next week 👍

TEAM C and we got 43. Harder Quiz for us this week. Not an Anagrams guy but did pretty well on it I'm counting Mother in Law although you didn't have an A in the question. We both were thinking it and just put it down for lack of anything else.

14yr old spotted that there wasn’t an A in the words making Mother-in-law and he also quickly guessed Turkmenistan for the final anagram. Great quiz. We’re always rubbish with the Sports Rounds though. 😂😂

53/65. Completely undone by the sport round - quite a nightmare! 9/10 on pictures, 9/10 on entertainment, 11/20 on sport stars, 5/5 on connections, 9/10 on anagrams, 10/10 on GK.
Not much clue about 90s pop. I'll say 48 times.
It was a difficult round that many struggled with both overall still a good score and the rest of your rounds were fantastic!! 👏👏

Sports was tough, 10 out of 20. Got 9 for the anagram round but we paused most questions. 👀🤫
I had my concerns the sports round may be a tad difficult and I forgot to mention at the beginning of the anagram round that anybody who needs to feel free to pause it 👍🏻 (I would have done the same - I’m terrible at anagrams 😂)

We got 37. Joint best score. Struggled on connections round! Even when we know the individual answers, we still couldn't get the connection. Did notice the error in the anagrams round on the mother in law. Assumed it would be an "in law" but there wasn't an "A" to use. Interesting to see some people still managed to get this question correct, even with the wrong letters showing lol

Good afternoon Dale. J.K. from Canberra playing solo again this week - but playing from a holiday on the NSW Sapphire Coast.
My brain must be on holidays a bit as I only got 54. It’s struggling to remember how many times the title words are mentioned in the fade for MmmBop” for the tiebreaker, but I don’t think it was that many. The word “Bop” appeared heaps, but “MmmBop” surprisingly little and so I’m just going a mere 10 times - and I think even that may be too many

DALE MAN, cannot believe the anagram error really threw me off. I'll let u off tho because we got a record score!!! 64/65 we gambled on the mother in law but the Messi and the other footballer blind sided me. We in the end gambled on 2014 assuming it was the world cup but my son entered the room to correct us and thankfully corrected our Ronaldo error. Phew that was a close one🎉🎉. Bonus answer 7 too hehe. @checkmugged we got 1 wrong; we didn't guess the right year in the Ali/Frazier question. And figured there would be three choruses & MMMBop twice per choruses = 6.

@@QuizMasterDale It's not not knowing how many MMMBop's there are precisely in the song. It's the combination of getting such a high score on the trivia quiz itself and then the entire team clearly being out to lunch on a question that was a cultural phenomenon. It's akin to watching Jeopardy and the people being roughly 156x more knowledgeable than I am when it comes to all things trivia however you toss up the easiest sports round in the world and you've stumped them all. It's crickets. It makes sense that they've spent their lives pursuing more academic knowledge that they mainly had to ignore the all encompassing world of most US males that is sports, sports, and more sports. I think it's interesting is all. Like, would I rather know the nitty gritty ins and outs of the American Civil war so I could quote generals and battles off the cuff or would I rather have MMMBop run through my veins?
Really enjoyed this quiz, very entertaining. Some of the anagrams are maybe too long for 18 seconds.

Was not our best, but we did well in the anagram round and the sporting rivalry round, I guess our brains were not functioning well since we both had a late night 😅. @@nathaneccles2557 I don’t really watch much tv, maybe an episode of something an evening, but I read a lot and play ps4 and my husband plays musical instruments. Sport just doesn’t get us excited.

I got 38 correct this week the bonus is 7 times. I got 9 of the anagrams correct. I missed kobe Bryant but I got Turkmenistan. I have a suggestion for a future sports rivals round: why not show two lists of sports teams and we have to match them to their primary rival such as the Yankees and Red Sox.

Team Anne Les Mis (Duo) 37/65 the sports rivals was really hard but I love having a different round each week! Our tie breaker was 90, we had never heard of this song but listened to it right after. An idea for a round I thought of is you put a list of US presidents and then an interesting fact about them then we try to connect it to the correct president.
It was a difficult round - next weeks will be much friendlier 😀.

We love your channel, but I truly despise the connections rounds. The connections are often a bit of a stretch and it's hard to know which part of multi-word answers is the connection

Also, thank you for the feedback for the connections round. I know they can be a bit of a stretch sometimes and it’s very often just one word out of an answer that you need for the connection (that can be the tricky part) .
I will continue to make them for now (from the comments I receive, most people enjoy that round) but as time goes by if enough people don’t enjoy it, I would change or remove it 👍🏻.

For the anagrams round, it would be greatly appreciated if you would not make words, out of the letters. Its defeating the point and honestly makes it more annoying to play. Like for example, the “wo men hitler” literally anything like ohiletnemwr would have been 10000% times better. Thank you

The answer for question 6 in the last round is wrong. The saying has been traced back to when she was only 9 years old. It was first attributed to her several decades after her death and there's no evidence she ever said it.
