    Great settings. My S1 felt weird in piroflips and other maneuvers to me and it "flows" great now. Will be recommending to my flying buddies to try.

    INCREDIBLE flying skills, i just got back into flying HELI'S after a 15 year HIATUS, I have 2 OMP M'2s and 1 S1 from GOOSKY, this helps tremendously, although i will dial a WEE BIT less Pitch, I have to get my Collective control back. I can tell you spent tons of time on the SIMM because this FLYING is NOT EASY at all, you make it LOOK easy, again thank you for this video.

    I've been using these settings for awhile, thank you! Trying to understand the difference between the 'speed' and the 'tail pitch' settings in the app. Being a fixed pitch tail blade, how would they be different?

    Do you have to rebind EVERY TIME you make changes with the BLUE TOOTH? I am setting mine up, which the blue tooth gave me a difficult time but eventually i can get into it. While making changes with the blue tooth i do NOT see the servos moving, A little FRUSTRATING, my OMP M1 and M2 were much simpler to set up, Thanks in advance.

    • @Adean6403
      @Adean6403  Год назад +1

      No way - i haven't tried moving the servos while connected to bluetooth but I didn't have to rebind ever - that's really strange. On the Goosky when you start it up the gyro isn't active until you hit throttle the first time. Is that what you mean? the swash wont' move when you tilt it unitl flight.

      Thank you for the compliments! I've been flying since 2011 and took a short break in there somewhere. I really started learning and getting better after joining a club and hanging out with like minded people! Highly recommend even if your just flying micros! I also do sim a lot. I still enjoy the simulator

    I was flying great till I followed these exact and everything went haywire as the several comments below suggested.
    I've been at it two days trying to tune it back to where it was and finally results is a snapped a linkage boom.
    On takeoff it would veer hard right, the swashplate simply would never level, no matter the mode I had it in or the servo re-calibration.
    Now I am forced to wait till my Tx16s arrives next week to try and re do all this from scratch.
    Goosky made a great product IF and I mean ONLY IF you don't mess with the RTF!
    Their documentation has so many gaps in how to work with the device its pathetic.
    These people design something then assume everyone can figure it out on their own.
    There are simply very few poorly made guides out there with many holes in their documentation process.

      awe i'm pummed to hear that. I've had several and change the settings on each one. Did you also trim the swash and now the swash is not level?

    • @kajuta240
      @kajuta240 5 месяцев назад

      I did get things sorted out somewhat once I had the tx16s in hand.... spent a weekend learning about tuning pitch throttle gains and expo with chat gpt. Two broken tailbooms and a split swash plate aligner later; discovered how to reset the gyro. If I let go in stable mode, I got things drifting left and to the rear but somewhat stable enough to now tweak and hover in place when I pitch forward and to the right.
      I'm a noob for sure but this has forced me into a steep learning curve :)
      I'll post back when I have another milestone of success😂

    • @kajuta240
      @kajuta240 5 месяцев назад +1

      Its now flying true and level, I made a measuring shim out of a toothpick and used it to evenly level the swashplate all around using the servo trim settings.
      I also re-calibrated the gyro...doing it repeatedly seems to have compounding positive results as each subsequent leveling session had less and less drift.
      I think the whole episode came from me trying to mimic you without fully understanding what i was doing and why, then trying to re-correct and going from bad to worse.
      I have to own that; hopefully others read this and dont repeat my folly.
      This is baby's first helicopter, super pumped about this hobby...but it really is something that has a steep learning curve!

    Hi, just got a new S1 and as soon as the heli lifts off from the ground the tail moves to the right and the nose to the left. Same with the heli it starts to drift to the right as soon as it lifts off the ground. Do i fix this with trim usung the app and my phone?

    • @Adean6403
      @Adean6403  Год назад

      Once you take off does it keep rotating right to left or does that part stop and how far does it rotate? As for drifting... mine drifts pretty hard if it's in self leveling mode but not when you are just flying. It's hard to get a grasp on your knowledge and experience from a small post so i'm asking the basic questions. Is it in self leveling mode? If it's drifting in the 'acro' or normal mode then yes adjust trims from inside the app.

    • @Adean6403
      @Adean6403  Год назад

      after posting the above response I saw your flight videos. Obvious you are further along than I thought. Ya trim it out in the app and not in your transmitter.

      @@Adean6403 After i post my question to you, i took a look at my swash, servo 1, the arm was not 90, i fixed this using the servo center in the app. I've not tested the heli after this but i'm sure it's fixed the drift as i know you need a perfect level swash. The tail was moving to the right pushing the nose to the left, do i fix this in the app settings, Tail Blade Pitch? You have a + and -, i don't know which to adjust, could you point that out to me? Thanks

      Hey I recently crashed mine pretty hard and had to replace some parts and resulted in having to change the servo center and pitch settings. I don’t know what they are from the factory. I believe there is a good goosky Facebook group that I’m sure someone would know the answer to that. I not sponsored by goosky or anything and really don’t know their stock settings. Are you on Facebook? If not get on www.helifreak.com and post up there!

    I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but these setting completely screwed up my RTF S1. Maybe it's because I'm using the controller it comes with, but my idle up stopped working and I couldn't get it off the ground because the blades were leaning back and to the right towards the ground when I was giving it throttle. And when I set the settings back to default it wasn't the same and the idle up still doesn't work. 😓
