Sirikari Gorge, Western Crete, Greece

Easy beautiful gorge in western Crete. We did this hike with the hiking club of Chania. It took about an hour and twenty minutes to get to the start of the gorge from Chania and went through some tiny old mountain villages. It took about 2 and half hours and that included a stop for lunch in the shade. I thought the name of the gorge was Polyrinna Gorge but that is the village that the gorge ends. There is the ancient acropolis at the top of the village if you have the energy.
