Hey Sequoia, I’m soon going to be a coordinator of school and program operations and I love this video. Will you be able to share more on how your resume should look? How you keep the “balance”? What things you need going into this field?
First of all, congrats on your new job and thank you for watching and subscribing! 💙
I’m not sure how a resume should look but mines had about 4-5 relevant job experiences that showcased similar job qualifications for the program coordinator position I was applying to at the time. I made sure to include 3-4 bullets of quantifiable things I did at each job. I also made sure I started each bullet with an action and or power word/adjective like “developed, managed, achieved, directed, executed”. Ideally, you should have your education, relevant experience, and a list of hard skills you know that are relevant to the job.
Honestly, I’m still working on how to balance all my responsibilities. Some days are better than others, but truly and I know it sound cliche but keeping a schedule and writing down all the things I need to do, instead of keeping everything in my head has been tremendously helpful. I use programs like Notion and Outlook calendar, and apps like Do! to keep track of everything I have to do and to basically organize my life.
Some things you absolutely need going into this field is: patience, empathy, knowing how to coordinate schedules and planning events, time management skills and boundaries.

New to your channel and loved the video. I recently accepted a project coordinator role this week! I am excited but also nervous. I have not started yet but recently I developed a really bad habit of being late so I came to find videos on how the girlies do it! You have so many tasks. What industry do you work in?
Congratulations on your new job. I’ve now been promoted from being a coordinator. My sector is in education and honestly time management and prioritizing yourself is key. It starts off hard but get easier once you become comfortable
