For you maybe. I think the players would disagree with your sentiment. I also disagree. In order to get into the playoffs last season didn't they play great when it mattered most? Didn't they go on a fantastic run to make the playoffs? I could have sworn they did, but you say no I guess.
Crazy game last night. In all my years of watching the NFL, I never knew a team could decline the opposing team's penalty and then immediately undecline it like the Steelers did on the Browns 3rd and 2 play with less than two minutes left. I always assumed once a coach tells the ref if they want to decline the penalty or not, then that's it, they can't go back and say "Oh, wait we're changing our mind".
My Brownies are currently a dumpster fire with shaky QB play (and a defense that has been underperforming). Although their record is awful, they are TALENTED ENOUGH to beat any team if they are clicking. Their roster is still pretty good!
Jameis was the backup. He only became 3rd string the game Winston got injured due to many calling for him top play. In that game DTR got hurt and Jameis was the emergency QB.
All 3-8 teams are not equal, look at the energy of the Browns and the energy of the Jets. The Browns fans and players brought the type of energy regardless of record you are supposed to bring towards playing your division rival. The more it snowed the harder both teams battled. They were throwing passes and kicking field goals and you couldn't see the ball. At one point the Steelers defense were throwing snowballs at each other after taking the ball away from the Browns and here come the Browns battling right back. Fans in the stands with no shirts on. That was one of the best Thursday night games in a very long time and fun to watch. The only person who had complaints was George Pickens. They should ship his 🤬 to the Jets with that kinda attitude. The Browns played for each other, the fans and for pride. They may not win another game but they put on a show out there last night.
The Browns showed their GM is better than the Jets GM Rodgers. Browns showed they have more of a team than the Jets as well. Also as usual it's a 17 game season and no one will be focused for each one, especially when you are expected to win like this game.
Yeah one lucky game in which you got absolutely dominated and needed atrocious refs in the 4th quarter does not bode for winning 6 straight games. Including having to go to Pittsburgh.
Can Brockman shut up about wanting teams to lose? It's the same mentality that had him wanting Jimmy G after Tom Brady had just won his 6th Super Bowl. Who cares about the freaking draft? You play to win the game.
tanking is good when done right. and the childish instant gratification mindset can be shortsighted. giants fans would definitely trade those meaningless wins with tommy devito for drake maye right now, and many felt the same way at the time too, not just in hindsight. but this class is shaping up to be weaker than last year, and beating your division rival on a snowy night at home is a special feeling, so in this case i can't be mad at ruined draft position
As a Steelers fan, I place a bunch of the blame on Coach Tomlin. When you have a very good defense in a snow game, why go for it on fourth and one in your own territory? When you need a big pass play in the fourth quarter, why have Justin Fields toss it rather than Russell Wilson who had a very good day passing and everyone knows Justin has accuracy problems? But Tomlin will make up for it.
It took Rich 8 minutes to explain "What Jameis Winston & Browns Showed in Their Snow Game Upset of the Steelers". I'll do it for everyone in a few seconds: For one game, the Browns were better in the snow than the Steelers. You're welcome.
Steeler’s played stupid on Defense you have to know a 2-8 team is in 4 down territory any time they cross the 50 and play accordingly obviously they didn’t ( and O line also sucked)
Doesn't matter if we have nothing to lose. If we lose, it's whatever. If we win, the Steelers and Ravens are frauds. I mean, to a struggling team twice? Really?
Let's be honest here, the Steelers aren't going anywhere in the playoffs. They might win one game, and then peter out. That's kind of what they do. Browns will probably end up with about six wins, all things considered, not too shabby.
watson went 26/29 with 8.5 yards per sttempt in the 4 quarters preceding his injury. jameis nearly threw away the ravens and steelers games and was horrible against the chargers. stop this nonsense, you have no idea what you're talking about and are just getting your cheapshots in because watson has become a boogeyman that's fashionable to attack. watson will be our starter in 2025 no matter how much you hacks, casuals and virtue signalers try to slander him, and he will be great
Cherry-picking a game's worth of stats ignores Watson's - at best - thoroughly mediocre numbers that had most of Cleveland's fanbase begging for him to be benched. Five touchdowns in six games and the 33rd-best passer rating in the NFL. On a $230 million contract? Not gonna cut it. Watson is not the future of the Cleveland Browns. Screeching right-wing buzzwords at people who point it out won't change that either.
@@char6364it shows that he was finally getting comfortable and confident in the revamped offense, dummy. again, none of you are watching the games and are just looking to poke at the low hanging fruit because it feels good and righteous, even though the justice system disagrees
I was really happy for jameis Winston, myles garrett, and nick chubb especially.
Good people.
Classic Browns: play their best when it matters least
We get nothing but scraps. But hopeless fan that I am, I'll take it.
Dude... that's funny right there! 😂
@@gaignum792 The Browns wouldn’t be 3-8 if Jameis started the whole season.

4:23 Wow I love it when AI gives us super-duper relevant, coherent and anticipatable stats like these....
We don’t need a QB. Jameis is the one
...to get us through Watson's contract lmao. I don't trust him beyond that very much, but I'll take what he is willing to give
@@Pnk_Rckr This. Jameis is talented but too reckless. Same with Flacco. At this point, anything but Watson
HAHAHAHAHAA!!
Rich: "We don't bring things up on this show just to say that we're right." (adjusts collar, cranes neck for head shot).

Imagine the Browns draft Jeanty get a skill receiver and add more depth to the pass rush and start Jameis next year!
Browns have Nick Chubb
They need some offensive linemen as well. At least three of their guys will be in the 30s and Wills is probably out the door

Unfortunately for the Browns, there's really no Sure Fire "Franchise" QB in this draft.
when you are out of it, play spoiler man.... play it

Ha! Look at that final schedule! The Browns can spoil everyone's day!!
7:25 it would be the BEST possible thing…
And it ain’t even close, the Juice that would give the franchise compared to a draft pick is absurd.
9-8 with the teams they'll have to beat to get their, should give the Browns a playoff spot. Can they do it though?
HAHAHAHAHA

Yes, we perform better against our division opponents than any other teams.
Why not? Bet no one expected them to win last night. But here we are talking about it.
Doesn't matter if we have nothing to lose. If we lose, it's whatever. If we win, the Steelers and Ravens are frauds. I mean, to a struggling team twice? Really?

I have no idea what Stephanski has ever done to make Rich think he's Vince Lombardi.
The QB’s in this draft are trash.
They showed this officiating crew doesn’t know intentional grounding when they see it.
Miles Garrett ain’t got nothing on Bruce Smith Legacy. Most people won’t recognize Garrett name. Everyone knows Bruce Smith
