I really appreciate Aussie Arvo's because it showcases how to enjoy Australia without damaging your vehicle. I stopped watching 4WD 24/7 because they promote the idea that you need to wreck your 4WD to have fun. While this might be feasible for someone with unlimited funds, it's disheartening for the average Aussie to see their pride and joy damaged. Keep up the great touring content - it sets your channel apart from others like 4WD 24/7 and All 4 Adventure.
Sadly, this was also why I stopped following Tyler. His channel just became a Carnage for Clicks channel like $WD 24/7. Sponsors seem to drive that, but most people don't have sponsors and unlimited free gear to break. As I said at the time on his channel when I stopped. He's chasing a different market. Most of us can't afford the panel damage or the police fines, or the multiple rigs and 77 different engine rebuilds... The Internet encourages extremism and isolation in all forms and I'd rather follow other content than that. It isn't relevant or on budget for most 4wders.
I've been following Tyler for a long time, and you two for a fee years, its good to see you 3 come together, Tyler has a lot of experience and it good to see him show you some time👍, P.S loving your trip from Queensland home.😊
Another great video guys, not that there's been a bad one. You guys are humble and no nonsense. You show Tyler plenty of respect and hopefully you guys learn a heap from him and boost your own abilities and confidence. As a viewer i get to learn as well so its a win all round. Thanks.
When you guys do adventure episodes I enjoy them more than any other channel. So relatable. Don't change your budget roots please 🙏. As part of the small wheel gang Patty, straddling ruts is your only option 😅. I've learned following the same line as big rigz hurts.
You don't really need 35"s mate, that will make your vehicle more unreliable, 33"s are pretty capable most of the time, it's all about picking the right line. I recon you'd benefit more from lockers. Nonetheless awesome video guys, nice to see some collaborations like this! 👊🏻
Boys, this is very good content. Like this is where 4wd action was at their best. Now they go to far into being more of a set production and stuff. It’s not raw and enjoyable to watch. I reckon you guys should seriously consider more of this sort of hard wheeling. This channel will boom.
You guys were crazy to follow Tyler 4Wheeling. He's the new generation 4WD 24/7 where breaking and mending rigs is becoming a way of life for him. 😁 Good to see you guys came away unscathed. Barrington Tops, now you're in my neck of the woods. My fav camping spot there is Little Murray Campground. Away from the main road and a well kept campsite with a toilets. Looking forward to the episode.
Little Murray is also one of my fav campgrounds in the Tops. It's well kept, until some inconsiderate campers with poor behaviour leave all their rubbish behind. When will these dimwits learn that these kinds of anti-social acts is what gets campgrounds closed.
It's not new generation people were doing this way over 25 years ago. I left Melbourne and one of my mates was daily driving a Suzuki Sierra on 35's back then. It'd have walked through any of the stuff you did in this video. That's not new generation. It's old school. The new thing is sadly that stuff is just asking for a defect now. My old Patrol ran 36" swampers and a bob on the street. I sold it 19 years ago. My new Nav runs 32"s... which do you think really was break and mend? The era of hardcore offroad being affordable, attainable and accessible has been over for at least 15 years. "Po Po shut us down" (which sadly is just as old lol)
Good work gents. Good to see a harder track putting a smile on your faces. Some broken cloud or smoke to reflect the sun's rays always produces the best sunsets.
Excellent. I mostly write that I "really enjoyed this", but I did and I do. Full marks for this viseo. Well shot and good sound plus great content. You both should be well proud of you acheivements with these hills and routes. Great to see Tyler's smart rig and his equally smart driving. Really enjoyed this!
wow awesome driving.watching you guys learning and trying stuff youre not used to. patrol walked it thru.diff lockers, and you would be unstoppable. Patrick expressions while driving are priceless, lol. good job both of you. 👍
Liam's Patrols is a weapon considering it has no lockers, The Landcruiser is like an oil tanker just too bloody big and heavy, you need to ditch half the weight.
Great spot. Its getting used a lot since covid so it’s getting pretty damaged, but all the more obstacles to tackle. Unfortunately I don’t subscribe to Tyler anymore. He used to have down to earth content. But now content has become doing stuff with full on heavily modified 4x4 that most of us cant relate to in our work/play cars (like yours). Hard 4x4ing, break stuff, spend $$$ and do it all again. It’s not relatable anymore. Sadly I miss his old content.
I’m the same, I thought he was good to watch in the beginning but not now. It’s ok going out like a bull in a china shop breaking things when you are getting parts and labor for free or at a discount, but unfortunately in real life most of us can’t afford to break stuff like Tyler does.
Well boys you have been out driven buy the grand Master hes good but it's probably his 4wd has been built for that kind of stuff but good watching anyway cheers legends 😄
Plenty of other channels doing hard wheeling. I think it’s something you boys shouldn’t worry about. Unless you make some dedicated cars. I’d rather watch you tour and see cool places. For me hard tracks seem dumb. I’d rather go up them on a moto and not fuck your car
Hey Patty, I'm looking at buying a 1hd 100 series. My grandads friend has offered it to me, it has 280k has full service history. The only thing I'm not sure about is the ifs front, is the 80 series better because it has live axle both ends? Hes asking $28k for it which i think is a good deal.
I wouldn't stress too much man! Got a great motor behind it, plus if it's your grandad's it's probably in good Nick and will have plenty of life left in it!
If it's a tourer you will be right with a 100. Better handling on the hwy too. If it's a Rick crawler 105 has live axles & you could convert, but it's a big job. I agree with Paddy. Buy it
This definitely one of your Best 4 Wheel Driving you boys have 💯✔️. Their a saying (White knuckle fever) you boys certainly had it. It means you monkey grip the steering wheel 😅. See you on the next one 👍
that comment about male testosterone and being manly is what turns me away from 4wding. But watching how you thoughtfully un packed the track and looked at like a puzzle, really similar to rock climbing, what I am used to, was so so refreshing and highlighted to me that this community may not just be blokes trying to climb the biggest mountain. Good content, this is making me feel more comfortable in what is sometimes an intimidating space.
I really don't see the hype for bashing your 4x4 after doing all that work on it. Especially to the extreme of what you have done in this trip. You have basically trashed your rigs.
patrols and landcrusiers were built for the hard work. No point building them just to drive them to the shops and not enjoy what they're capable of and where they can take you
@@MicahBell_1860 Yeah spending a fortune fixing broken vehicles is a real buzz isn't it. Personally I find this social media rubbish where channels just have to do ever more stupid things rather tiresome tbh. Main reason I don't bother watching them these days.
Oh, you think they break their vehicles on purpose to have fun repairing & rebuilding them@@oldbloke204 ? Sorry, I thought most people drive these tracks with specifically built vehicles for fun. & repairs were just a thing that sometimes happens in the pursuit of that fun. Yeah, maybe you should stop watching these channels if you are triggered by such things. Then you probably wouldn't feel compelled to be so negative to them all. Happy trails, Cowpoke
@@MicahBell_1860 I think that you're missing the point dude. I'm not in the slightest triggered, gotta love meme speak, and really don't care what they do. One thing I will say is that looking back in 20 years at all the money wasted might be a bit of an eye opener for some. As I said, I don't watch these types of videos but some of the other stuff has been good. Doing this stuff for social media clicks is just a sign of the times imo. My trails are extremely happy as I get to travel them whenever I feel like it.
Thanks for having me boys! Was an awesome afternoon, next time we will have to do some hard tracks 😉
I can't find the laugh button. 🤣

Every Sunday morning I watch Aussie Arvos & Tyler Thompson. 2 years ago Tyler was freaking out as much as you fellas.
Happy trails, Cowpokes
Thanks mate!
My two favourite RUclips channel collaborating. Love it.. We need more of this. Greetings from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬

A couple few dollar shims from road runner will make that lsd a locker in the gq. Much better then a locker imo
i love my 4bee even more after doing hard tracks makes a great evening... and IMO you wont get a much more capable 4bee than a GQ....

80 all the way!
