Watched another tutorial, tried what they said. 30 minutes later, it didn't work. Yours fixed it in minutes. I now have two networked computers for backup purposes. Thank you!
Thank you for explaining what you are doing! I don't like it when tutorials just do the steps and don't explain what's happening. The way you presented answered so many questions I had. Thank you!
This is the most helpful video I found for sharing data between two computers. I have been searching for some way to transfer large files safely and faster than any other method, and your video did it.
Worked like a charm between a windows 8 and a brand new windows 11 PC. Had to do a little digging for the Windows 8 part, since not everything is exactly the same, but it worked. Thanks.
@@schwarzenhund7091 im transferring 120 gb of data and its estimating 30 mins, around 90 mb/s. though i think it has more to do with the hardware you're using

Thank you. I was having a problem with the sharing part because I always went to network section in order to access the other PC. Thanks for that quick access tip.

If anybody is facing windows prompt to enter credentials when accessing the shared folder. Tey can just enter any password like admin , admin to access the shared folder. This worked for me.😅
Hello, thank you for your tutorial. When I have finished transferring all the files I need, do I go back into the setting and changed them back to what they were originally? Delete the IP ADRESS Etc? Thanks :)
Thanks for helping to configure it I'm building a media server and this is a better way to drop off files than using the app that transfers them over the net lol
Some people suggest using crossover cables? I assume they know that their ethernet port supports Auto MDIX , aka Auto-Correction/Crossover? Perhaps it's best to play it safe and use a switch/router? BTW, some USB/RJ45 Ethernet adapters suggest they have chipsets that support it (UGreen RTL8153 or Amazon Basics AX88179A)
This is why we need Indian tech support. Computers were not designed to transfer files as this process is ridiculous. Just get an external drive and save the headache.

Thank you! I got a new desktop and was struggling to get the files transferred. This tutorial was straight to the point and worked.
Fireeeeeeeee. After hours of trying to configure local settings, this is the one that works. No stupid credential error for this method. A+
Thank you random Indian RUclips dude. Connected Win 11 and 10 computers with this method. Saved me and my friend so much time. 10/10
Could you share the transfer speed? Thanks..

If you need to transfer files PC to PC this is the way. I thought a USB to USB would work (and I’m sure it will) but this worked just as well.
USB to USB will never work
I bought usb a to a cable and tried but failed
@@anilchandran3954 Forsure, thanks for letting us know
Via usb it is not work bc the usb work as donor and aceptor type and the pc is donor so donor donor connect cant work.
Maybe if you can write softer what emulates a pc as an aceptor then you can use an usb cable.

The best part of it, that actually has both windows 10 and 11 to make sure everyone understand. Well done 💯👍🏻
Hey mate. Just wanted to say thanks. Saved me from a lot of pissing around trying to get it to work.
Indian tutorials hit different. Never been let down in my 20 years of using a PC

Worked first try.
If you're using the ethernet for internet access as well just reverse the ipv4 setting to automatic
this tutorial is actually so helpful its crazy u deserve more subs bro
Thanks for this brilliant guide. I spent ages messing about trying to achieve this with an external drive before discovering this method 👍👍👍
Thank you for your time and effort to make this video and share your knowledge with us. Greetings from Croatia.

❤❤❤❤ I love it very crisp and clear understanding 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
THANKS A LOT BROTHER!!!! THIS IS A LIFE SAVER......
why is it so slow (10mb/s) if any cheap ethernet cable can easy handle 100mb/s ?
It can easily handle 100Mbps will mean 12.5MBps (8bits = 1Byte) it showed him 10MBps when transferring so its almost the speed mentioned.
Needs a crossover cable!
Sometimes data transfer speed depends on the type of file. So it's ok if it's sharing 10mbps.
Super boss, you saved my entire day.
Thank you this is exactly what I was looking for
I was hoping this would help me move files from my old PC to a new one but I would need two monitors to get this accomplished....nutz
Are the sharing settings something we should revert back for protection of files?
If we keep these settings are we exposed?
Change the ip address where u changed it back to automatic
Thank you, you saved me a lot of time and aggrivation.
For anyone having trouble just make sure to make the network of the laptop or pc you are sharing from private.
Bruh thanks for this 👍 it helped me a lot.
Thank you. This helped me to transfer files faster.
The most helpful video . Thank you 👍👍👍👍
It's quite risky as you're vulnerable to hackers.
Simply plugging USB seems a better option to me.
It is working properly
Trust me
I had good experience within 5 mins it happened 🎉

Thank you . Its working
Concise tutorial. Thank you
I done it and switched back to automatic ip and my internet don't work now.
