Bro, i explain you my situation, im 20 and i ve been socially anxious for almost all my life, then like 8 months ago I discovered julienhimself videos on youtube and the letting go technique. I started doing it for like 10 minutes every day, and my life changed completely, i became a lot more confident and i was a totally different person. This lasted 1 month, then i thought that i didnt need the meditation anymore and slowly i came back to the situation i was before, so i restarted doing the meditation, but i dont know why, this time its a lot more hard. I dont know why
Great talk today, yes, my stomach, I take a lot of ginger capsules to help relieve, stress, and anxiety and what seems built up energy+ anxiety which directly affect my mental health, its not my head its the stomach for me which causes all sorts of shit and crap I deal with daily....I take ginger.
micheal a singer talks a lot about this in his book living untethered. Practise on letting go of the little things to help you get better at letting go of the bigger things.
Exactly what I needed. Can I ask, do you think the letting go technique works while you're going through relationship issues? As in, you're still being triggered regularly, not recovering from a relationship that's ended
I hope I can help you:) Throughout the day I would find periods where you can be totally still and undisturbed. Make sure you‘re comfortable, close your eyes and drop into the body. Maybe you have to think of painful memories or the ending of the relationship in order for the feelings to arise. Once you can feel ‚the unwanted‘ feelings, start to observe them. Relax and just observe how this feeling feels. Let it do whatever it wants to. Don‘t try to change it, only observe it. The feeling can stay as long as it needs to. Do it every day and with time you will find that your emotional reaction becomes weaker till one day you‘ve healed it.
ive missed my ex g for years im 43 i ve had other relationships since but I still remember her number 20 years on and have regrets and the pain is still there i hope this works
What are your thoughts on this technique in relation to complex, very intense and difficult emotional situations such as childhood sexual, physical, and emotional abuse that have been suppressed for over 30 years? I ask because I am always curious about trying new things. Also, when I started to address the emotional side of this, I was totally emotionally blownout, flooded, and disregulated for days. I am in a better place than 20 years ago or wouldn't have been able to even ask this and I do see a therapist. I also need to try things on my own. This stuff is tough. Thanks.
Usually a memory of this person will trigger a feeling in my stomach. I’m now trying to focus on that feeling. Do I have to like.. keep thinking about the memory to bring the feeling back in my stomach? Or just keep an empty mind and focus on whatever is there?(or not there)
I used to struggle with this till I realised the letting go part is actually a letting be of what is and letting go of trying to change what is. 🙌
Exactly true 💯
Innermost feeling is staying real to your vessel and the truth there frees you❤
Ty. I needed to hear this. They let me go, I'll let go back.
Great content, thanks, Evan. Best wishes!

Yes! As soon as you deal with the feelings, the thoughts get a little more quiet.

Oh, I take ginger, but I wasn't aware that it worked for anxiety! Thank you so much!

@@Ryanmuniverse keep the memory sort of in the back of your mind to keep the feeling active but don’t get lost in it
@@myselfasevan Thank you for your reply and what you're doing.
