I love Grimmel not killing Ghost at the beginning for being leucistic. Because really, it makes perfect sense. Leucistic and albino animals, as you mentioned, are at a disadvantage in the wild. So for Grimmel, someone who kills night furies for sport, killing and bringing back a naturally disadvantaged night fury as a trophy could be seen as shameful or cowardly. There’s hardly any point in killing Ghost, a dragon who most likely won’t last long in the wild anyway, thus making her the perfect candidate for him to spare and use for his hunt.
I think you would love the TV shows! In those, they expand the world of HTTYD by including new groups of people and new dragons, as well as how they all interact. They also actually give the side characters great character development and time to interact and it's so so SO good. They're unironically really good and make the third movie even worse, as the third movie retroactively makes the whole universe feel so much smaller.

@@MyUniverseinaBox Even if you don't like the writing of the older show (Defenders of Berk) I'd still recommend Race to the Edge. It unironically has the best villains of the franchise, including one who executed what they seemed to be aiming for with Grimmel much better, actually countering Hiccup on an intellectual level. We also get to explore other groups of people who live around dragons, some even getting along with dragons. It also has some interesting concepts for dragon species. But the main thing I like is how the shows develop all the characters. It expands on them a lot and makes them all interact. It made me love the entire main cast. Also, the twins are hilarious throughout the shows (the shows themselves have some good humor in general), you can look up a compilation to see what I mean lol
Also, because I can't resist being the ultimate nerd, it would still make sense for an albino night fury to have blue eyes, though the pupil itself would probably appear pink or red. Night furies are highly based off of cats, and albinism makes eyes colorless, which appears as blue in cats! But since the pupil is also colorless, it appears pink/red, especially in the light.

They make a LOT more sense and also feel so much more narratively satisfying. And I am just so thankful someone else out there had the same critique as I did about how the sequels didn't really treat these creatures as animals as much. I also really hated how the final film had this "humans don't deserve to have a meaningful relationship with nature" message it tried to pull. Not a fan. But what I am a fan of is this re-design! Your art is very excellent and the design feels faithful, fitting, and also very appealing. Very well done!

I'd like to say, you did the Light Fury justice by actually making her look like a wild animal and not some Barbie doll! the og's Light Fury design felt so underwhelming, it felt like the writers needed to clarify "Okay this is the GIRL dragon and this one is the BOY dragon". The scars? the redeisgn? fixing the trainwreck that is the 3rd movie? this whole video did it justice.

One thing that always bugged me about the movie is dragons and vikings separating, wasn't the point of the other two films was yknow... Learning to live with dragons and become friends even? I dunno I never really understood the purpose of the hidden world and it bugged me how in the 3rd movie toothless constantly putting hiccup in danger to go be with an inverted pink girl toothless despite that being pretty out of character for him considering all the other movies and side series before it. Maybe i would have forgiven it if nine realms was actually decent, but its not so yah
I think I've heard before that Asrid and Hiccup's relationship was rushed in the first movie because the crew didn't know they would be getting any more movies afterwards to flesh it out better. They ended up backpedaling and making it flow better in the shows though, which I think is neat

I imagine the light fury could’ve been a night fury with longer ear nubs, a slightly smaller or bigger size, and maybe with a few apparent scars like a scar by her eye and shoulder, since she mainly lived in the wild. Even toothless has scars, but the light fury has none that we can see. I also think she could have some other details that make her look different from Toothless like jagged patterns instead of round, blobby patterns like Toothless has and blue eyes that are a bit darker than the normal light furies eyes. Just my idea if I ever tried to make a HTTYD Au
fun fact, albinism doesnt automatically mean red eyes! thats the most intense form, but it can cause pink or very pale blue eyes as well. i have a friend who is diagnosed with albinism, and it pisses them off when people try to say they're not actually albino because they have blue eyes - again, medically diagnosed! it would be cool if ghost/daydream had poor eyesight - i don't know how it translates to reptiles, but very pale eyes are a lot more sensitive to bright lights. maybe she closes her eyes when shooting plasma blasts, so she's not as accurate as other night furies? idk, food for thought 😅

The light fury was just so disappointing to me because the ONE big question set up from the BEGINNING OF THE FIRST MOVIE was "Where are all the night furies?" So we never got that answer. We will never know what happened to all the night furies or why Toothless is the last of them. I'm just disappointed that the questions 9 year old me had will never be answered and instead we got a shoehorned romance and the movie backtracked on the whole lesson about lasting friendship despite being different species.

I personally LOVE the design (suuper unique I know lol), but yeah. I also freaking LOOOVE the plot points and stuff. Like, I think it would be cool for Toothless to develop another friend (other than just Stormfly). You could also make a good point about healthy relationships, where Hiccup has to learn to nOt be so protective of Toothless, and allow him some space to be with other dragons. Like, the semi-auto tail could work with that. Where his tail is swapped to Auto Mode so he can go fly by himself/with his dragon friends without the weight of hiccup on his back (not to mention Hiccup basically constantly 'controlling' him.) Like, there's a deleted scene in Gift of the Nightfury where Hiccup has a NIGHTMARE about how Toothless is having a good time all by himself. Like... that's suuuper healthy dude, like chill lmao. But that could be interesting. Maybe the strained relationship makes them realize that they don't have to be constantly glued to each other, and that space can be healthy for them. This could also dip a little bit into Hiccup's development in the 3rd movie, where he has to learn that he is a capable leader without his flashy dragon, and gain self-confidence. Though it may not be as heavily focused on, as Toothless doesn't have the OP Alpha mode and crap in this universe, but stILLL. the P O T E N T I A L MMMMM MMM AAAnyway yeah. A++ design. Feeds my thirst for edge, and makes me with the series didn't get hit with the marketable corporate greed garbage. :'D im gonna go make an AU now loll

I LOVE this concept. i actually kind of liked the ending of the third movie (i thought that it was a good representation that the “hero” doesn’t always get everything) but i also think this plot would be amazing to see. especially when it comes to how grimel was developed. idk i’m very easily appeased AND I AGREE THE TOOTHLESS MODEL SHOULDVE BEEN THE FIRST MOVIE AND NOT THE THIRD- also could i maybe steal (wif credit) some of this lore :3 not ghost’s just like this timeline bc it really fits for how one of my oc wips sort of grew up and her lore makes so much more sense in this world 😭✋

Very nice rewriting of the plot too!❤ Personally, if you want Toothless to get a mate and do baby NFs, I'd only change that she's around his age (on the contrary of what you said in 8:34) and they choose eachother as mate instead of him getting with another random NF without introduction; That's because, in your story, Ghost and Tooth spent a whole movie bonding, so I think picking a random one (as you said here 12:36) from the pack instead of the one he spent time with feels misplaced/wasted yk? This ofc if you really want Tooth to get a mate to see baby NFs, but tbh they could also make one of the members of the pack a baby night fury with his parent(s) if that's a requirement (yes, cute bby) Other than that, it sounds awersome! I wish we did get a leucistic/albino nf instead of the light fury; also because her skin condition could've carried the theme of disabilites along with Toothless's tail and Hic's leg.. AND MORE NIGHT FURIES!

Ghost's design is so pretty. I have a love hate opinion about the light fury. Like I'm not fond of the get the girl plot. Honestly I wish she was a baby Toothless wanted to express adopt instead even if she was a different species, maybe a dragon that mimicked baby night furies or smth. But I also appreciate that they committed to the endling plot, as much as I wanted to see another night fury, its so often that they'll opt the endling plot our for the sake of a happy ending. With a more mature plot, the genuinely depressing nature of endling animals, and as you said a more delved upon situation with Stoick's death could've been really cool. Also, the tv series, takes place between movies 1 and 2 on Netflix. I'd say its somewhere between the vibes of the first two movies. and if its named "The Nine Realms" burn it with fire and run the other way.

I love the name Daydream, and the concept of Grimmel ‘training’ (well, you could call it that) a Night Fury! At this point I want to write fanfiction of a rewritten THW (with credit to whoever I took inspo from ofc, though I remember seeing a few other albino night fury concepts so I’m not sure who I would) because honestly there are such cool concepts and it just makes me hate the ridiculous movie we got even more. I wonder if Daydream has any sight issues due to her condition, like, ik it’s fantasy and albinism may not have that effect but it’s interesting to think of flaws like that. Would be another reason for her to fight more head-on as you mentioned.

I have my own ideas of how I would rewrite httyd 3. The major changes I would make is obviously not having the dragons separated, and I think I'll take grimmel out of the story entirely and replace him with a character that isn't a villain, but rather an antagonist to the main cast. I would also have Light Fury's redesign be an albino night fury like yours and have her personality changed a bit and expanded a lot more that she deserves. I'll still have her be Toothless's "love interest" but give these two much more time to develop their bond for each other and have them become mates by the end of the movie. Since grimmel is cut out of my story, the plot will be much different compared to the canon version. The movie's new plot will primarily focus on Hiccup, Astrid, Toothless, and the albino night fury, before it later focuses on just Toothless and the albino Night fury. The side characters might still have their canon screentime, but are given the good personalities like they had from race to the edge. And I think I'll have Valka and Cloudjumper be part of the main cast as well since they were done dirty in the 3rd movie. Toothless meets the albino night fury as he feels shocked and surprised that he actually found another member of his kind. But this time, he doesn't immediately fall in love with her, instead, he tries to get to know her first, and try to form a simple bond with her like he had with the other dragons. Until the albino night fury senses hiccup and astrid as she growls and fires a plasma blast at them. Toothless immediately ran into hiccup to make sure he was ok. The albino night fury then flies off as Toothless starts to have a hard time trusting this new dragon he just met, even if it is finally another member of his species. Later in the movie, Toothless asks hiccup if he could use a new tail that can help him fly on his own. He remembers that he had one before and threw it away so he could ride with hiccup, but this time he wants it to be temporarily and switch things up from time to time. As for reasons and motivations of why toothless wants a new tail, is so he could try to see the albino night fury so he can try to help her adapt the humans better and then try to form a bond with her. He only leaves hiccup just so he can keep him safe since he remembered the attack that happened, and he doesn't want to risk his best friend getting killed by a plasma blast from another night fury, especially when he was forced to kill stoick, and he doesn't want to bring hiccup anymore pain or loss. Later, as toothless flies above searching for the albino night fury, they both find each other on a island as they start to get to know each other as we then spend amount of time in the first half of the second act with the two furies and how they slowly form a bond by exploring a forest and then to a large lake where they hunt for fish until they encounter a wild dragon that is highly territorial. Toothless does his best to defend himself and the albino night fury, but she eventually helps him take on the wild dragon. As the wild dragon flees to find another place to live in the lake, Toothless and the albino night fury now know about each other's abilities and they formed a bit of alliance for each other. Toothless tries to convince the albino night fury to come with him to an island where he stays and to get her to understand hiccup, but the albino night fury shakes her head due to her own fear of being out of her nest for too long. Toothless notices this as he eventually goes with the albino light fury to see if there are other night furies. Meanwhile hiccup and the riders are wondering why toothless hasn't returned for so long, Hiccup gives the idea that they should look for him. Astrid tells him that didn't toothless tell you to stay here so you can be safe? Hiccup tells her that they've been through a lot worse and nothing would ever stop him from saving his best friend. They eventually fly off with their dragons to search for him. We then cut back to toothless and the albino night fury as they reach a mysterious island that a huge hidden cave inside. As they crawl in, toothless notices the beauty and the atmosphere of the cave as it has colorful crystals laying around the place. As they reach the center of the cave, Toothless is in complete shock as he sees a whole flock of night furies living together in a large open space of the cave that has water, fish, and nests each night fury has for their mates and babies. Toothless roams around with the albino night fury to finally interact with other members of his species. Some were nice, others that are territorial, and baby night furies that would start playing around with him as he starts feeling genuinely happy that he is no longer the last member of his kind. However there was one night fury that is very territorial of other species, especially humans. It calls out a roar to the nest informing the flock thet it is coming out of it's nest, and it is revealed to be a titan-wing Elder Night fury with orange-reddish eyes with a lot of scars and it the current alpha of the night furies. His name will be Inferno and he shall be the main antagonist of my httyd 3 rewrite. Ok, I think I'm gonna take a break since trying to think of a good story for my rewrite is hard, lol. I hope you enjoyed how I would write httyd 3 so far. If you have any questions or criticisms towards it, feel free to share your thoughts and I'll try my best to fix my story if I need to! ✨👍

i like it, and i do like the plot you made for the movie, but i do think there should be hinted romance between toothless and ghost, because i like that idea the the original film layed out but i dont like the fact that they had kids, i think if they had a closer relationship than just buddies it could be fun.

From all the things you decided to scrap, the two movies might as well not exist(i agree for the third, but the second is iffy for me). Stoick's death honestly seems like the only one you kept and vauge premises from 3. Thankyou!! And mmm yeah the sequels aren't the reason I like httyd. Obviously I do not like httyd3 in the slightest, and I do not consider it canon lol. Httyd2, however, I like. I don't LOVE it, but I still think it's pretty solid. Some of the things I genuinely like about the second film is Valka as a character for instance, and her dragon Cloudjumper. Like I think them retconning Hiccups mum to be alive was handled really well. Also the fact that they let the characters age up, that was cool. I also enjoy Drago as a villain. Albinos don't necessarily have red eyes. For example most human albinos don't, because the blue eyecolour in humans happens without blue pigmentation. Human eyes apear blue because of light reflection. We don't know how nightfurry eyes work, therefor claiming that albino night furrys must have red eyes is bs.
Albino literary mean there's no pigment at all. So no pigment in the iris, only blood vessels visible hence red eyes. Leucistic means there a LACK of pigmentation. There's still some in the eyes and maybe brown ish hue to the skin, which might not even be black melanocytes, but some other pigment like brown or red

This is such a gorgeous Fury!!! Oh my gosh!!! I found it funny that people got upset because you said it was albino and that it couldn't be albino because of the blue eye. There are dogs and even a very few cats with albinism who yes, has very light blue eyes. It is possible. But, if you were going by a leucistic snake/boa...they don't have spots, just a solid white/off-white body. But animals with albinism...can. Sooo...if we want to get technical...yeah, you were right the first time, it would be Albino.

since dinosaurs were thought to be dragons, and dinosaurs are based off of birds, I wish that the furies were somewhat like Birds of Paradise. the males are pretty, the females are, well - ok looking. I was also hoping, that since furies are REALLY dangerous, and especially night furies, that they would be scary. especially being able to blending into the night sky, making it an ambush predator and well, therefore, it should be able to strike fear into prey. you get what I mean? I wish someone in the studios could make it like that. it would be kinda silly. also, the “Light Fury”, to me, is almost like a sub-species. I like the idea of the Light Furies being leucistic (is that how you spell it?) because then it would make sense that Toothless is not the only one now. the movie gave her too much of a “female” appearance to where I think she’s a sub-species at this point. but again, l like the leucistic stuffs.

I don’t like how it’s very similar to a nightfury… I know this is what people wanted but sometimes I wish people would make her redesign more… different, less nightfuryish and more of a different fury. I can see how this video might make it seem I don't like the second film. I actually do like it. It has some things I don't like about it and some things I'm kind of indifferent towards, and I don't think it comes anywhere near how good the first film is, but I think it's still a pretty good movie. I love Grimmel not killing Ghost at the beginning for being leucistic. Because really, it makes perfect sense. Leucistic and albino animals, as you mentioned, are at a disadvantage in the wild. So for Grimmel, someone who kills night furies for sport, killing and bringing back a naturally disadvantaged night fury as a trophy could be seen as shameful or cowardly. There’s hardly any point in killing Ghost, a dragon who most likely won’t last long in the wild anyway, thus making her the perfect candidate for him to spare and use for his hunt.
I think you would love the TV shows! In those, they expand the world of HTTYD by including new groups of people and new dragons, as well as how they all interact. They also actually give the side characters great character development and time to interact and it's so so SO good.
They're unironically really good and make the third movie even worse, as the third movie retroactively makes the whole universe feel so much smaller.

@@MyUniverseinaBox Even if you don't like the writing of the older show (Defenders of Berk) I'd still recommend Race to the Edge. It unironically has the best villains of the franchise, including one who executed what they seemed to be aiming for with Grimmel much better, actually countering Hiccup on an intellectual level.
We also get to explore other groups of people who live around dragons, some even getting along with dragons. It also has some interesting concepts for dragon species.
But the main thing I like is how the shows develop all the characters. It expands on them a lot and makes them all interact. It made me love the entire main cast. Also, the twins are hilarious throughout the shows (the shows themselves have some good humor in general), you can look up a compilation to see what I mean lol

Also, because I can't resist being the ultimate nerd, it would still make sense for an albino night fury to have blue eyes, though the pupil itself would probably appear pink or red. Night furies are highly based off of cats, and albinism makes eyes colorless, which appears as blue in cats! But since the pupil is also colorless, it appears pink/red, especially in the light.

I whole-heartedly agree with all the points you brought up about the flaws of the sequels, and I really enjoy all of the changes you made to the storyline as well. They make a LOT more sense and also feel so much more narratively satisfying. And I am just so thankful someone else out there had the same critique as I did about how the sequels didn't really treat these creatures as animals as much. I also really hated how the final film had this "humans don't deserve to have a meaningful relationship with nature" message it tried to pull. Not a fan.
But what I am a fan of is this re-design! Your art is very excellent and the design feels faithful, fitting, and also very appealing. Very well done!

One thing that always bugged me about the movie is dragons and vikings separating, wasn't the point of the other two films was yknow... Learning to live with dragons and become friends even? I dunno I never really understood the purpose of the hidden world and it bugged me how in the 3rd movie toothless constantly putting hiccup in danger to go be with an inverted pink girl toothless despite that being pretty out of character for him considering all the other movies and side series before it.
Maybe i would have forgiven it if nine realms was actually decent, but its not so yah
I think I've heard before that Asrid and Hiccup's relationship was rushed in the first movie because the crew didn't know they would be getting any more movies afterwards to flesh it out better. They ended up backpedaling and making it flow better in the shows though, which I think is neat

Yes! I love every part of this, from the amazing art, to the design, to the story! I never liked the idea of Toothless being so eager to ditch his closest friend for some woman he barely met, so im glad you fixed it :)
I imagine the light fury could’ve been a night fury with longer ear nubs, a slightly smaller or bigger size, and maybe with a few apparent scars like a scar by her eye and shoulder, since she mainly lived in the wild. Even toothless has scars, but the light fury has none that we can see. I also think she could have some other details that make her look different from Toothless like jagged patterns instead of round, blobby patterns like Toothless has and blue eyes that are a bit darker than the normal light furies eyes.

fun fact, albinism doesnt automatically mean red eyes! thats the most intense form, but it can cause pink or very pale blue eyes as well. i have a friend who is diagnosed with albinism, and it pisses them off when people try to say they're not actually albino because they have blue eyes - again, medically diagnosed! it would be cool if ghost/daydream had poor eyesight - i don't know how it translates to reptiles, but very pale eyes are a lot more sensitive to bright lights. maybe she closes her eyes when shooting plasma blasts, so she's not as accurate as other night furies? idk, food for thought 😅

The light fury was just so disappointing to me because the ONE big question set up from the BEGINNING OF THE FIRST MOVIE was "Where are all the night furies?"
So we never got that answer. We will never know what happened to all the night furies or why Toothless is the last of them. I'm just disappointed that the questions 9 year old me had will never be answered and instead we got a shoehorned romance and the movie backtracked on the whole lesson about lasting friendship despite being different species.

I personally LOVE the design (suuper unique I know lol), but yeah. I also freaking LOOOVE the plot points and stuff. Like, I think it would be cool for Toothless to develop another friend (other than just Stormfly). You could also make a good point about healthy relationships, where Hiccup has to learn to nOt be so protective of Toothless, and allow him some space to be with other dragons. Like, the semi-auto tail could work with that. Where his tail is swapped to Auto Mode so he can go fly by himself/with his dragon friends without the weight of hiccup on his back (not to mention Hiccup basically constantly 'controlling' him.)
Like, there's a deleted scene in Gift of the Nightfury where Hiccup has a NIGHTMARE about how Toothless is having a good time all by himself. Like... that's suuuper healthy dude, like chill lmao. But that could be interesting. Maybe the strained relationship makes them realize that they don't have to be constantly glued to each other, and that space can be healthy for them.
This could also dip a little bit into Hiccup's development in the 3rd movie, where he has to learn that he is a capable leader without his flashy dragon, and gain self-confidence. Though it may not be as heavily focused on, as Toothless doesn't have the OP Alpha mode and crap in this universe, but stILLL. the P O T E N T I A L MMMMM MMM

Personally, if you want Toothless to get a mate and do baby NFs, I'd only change that she's around his age (on the contrary of what you said in 8:34) and they choose eachother as mate instead of him getting with another random NF without introduction;
That's because, in your story, Ghost and Tooth spent a whole movie bonding, so I think picking a random one (as you said here 12:36) from the pack instead of the one he spent time with feels misplaced/wasted yk?
This ofc if you really want Tooth to get a mate to see baby NFs, but tbh they could also make one of the members of the pack a baby night fury with his parent(s) if that's a requirement (yes, cute bby)
Other than that, it sounds awersome! I wish we did get a leucistic/albino nf instead of the light fury; also because her skin condition could've carried the theme of disabilites along with Toothless's tail and Hic's leg.. AND MORE NIGHT FURIES!

I have a love hate opinion about the light fury. Like I'm not fond of the get the girl plot. Honestly I wish she was a baby Toothless wanted to express adopt instead even if she was a different species, maybe a dragon that mimicked baby night furies or smth.
But I also appreciate that they committed to the endling plot, as much as I wanted to see another night fury, its so often that they'll opt the endling plot our for the sake of a happy ending.
With a more mature plot, the genuinely depressing nature of endling animals, and as you said a more delved upon situation with Stoick's death could've been really cool.
Also, the tv series, takes place between movies 1 and 2 on Netflix. I'd say its somewhere between the vibes of the first two movies. and if its named "The Nine Realms" burn it with fire and run the other way.

I love the name Daydream, and the concept of Grimmel ‘training’ (well, you could call it that) a Night Fury! At this point I want to write fanfiction of a rewritten THW (with credit to whoever I took inspo from ofc, though I remember seeing a few other albino night fury concepts so I’m not sure who I would) because honestly there are such cool concepts and it just makes me hate the ridiculous movie we got even more. I wonder if Daydream has any sight issues due to her condition, like, ik it’s fantasy and albinism may not have that effect but it’s interesting to think of flaws like that. Would be another reason for her to fight more head-on as you mentioned.

I have my own ideas of how I would rewrite httyd 3. The major changes I would make is obviously not having the dragons separated, and I think I'll take grimmel out of the story entirely and replace him with a character that isn't a villain, but rather an antagonist to the main cast. I would also have Light Fury's redesign be an albino night fury like yours and have her personality changed a bit and expanded a lot more that she deserves. I'll still have her be Toothless's "love interest" but give these two much more time to develop their bond for each other and have them become mates by the end of the movie. Since grimmel is cut out of my story, the plot will be much different compared to the canon version.
The movie's new plot will primarily focus on Hiccup, Astrid, Toothless, and the albino night fury, before it later focuses on just Toothless and the albino Night fury. The side characters might still have their canon screentime, but are given the good personalities like they had from race to the edge. And I think I'll have Valka and Cloudjumper be part of the main cast as well since they were done dirty in the 3rd movie.
Toothless meets the albino night fury as he feels shocked and surprised that he actually found another member of his kind. But this time, he doesn't immediately fall in love with her, instead, he tries to get to know her first, and try to form a simple bond with her like he had with the other dragons. Until the albino night fury senses hiccup and astrid as she growls and fires a plasma blast at them. Toothless immediately ran into hiccup to make sure he was ok. The albino night fury then flies off as Toothless starts to have a hard time trusting this new dragon he just met, even if it is finally another member of his species. Later in the movie, Toothless asks hiccup if he could use a new tail that can help him fly on his own. He remembers that he had one before and threw it away so he could ride with hiccup, but this time he wants it to be temporarily and switch things up from time to time. As for reasons and motivations of why toothless wants a new tail, is so he could try to see the albino night fury so he can try to help her adapt the humans better and then try to form a bond with her. He only leaves hiccup just so he can keep him safe since he remembered the attack that happened, and he doesn't want to risk his best friend getting killed by a plasma blast from another night fury, especially when he was forced to kill stoick, and he doesn't want to bring hiccup anymore pain or loss. Later, as toothless flies above searching for the albino night fury, they both find each other on a island as they start to get to know each other as we then spend amount of time in the first half of the second act with the two furies and how they slowly form a bond by exploring a forest and then to a large lake where they hunt for fish until they encounter a wild dragon that is highly territorial. Toothless does his best to defend himself and the albino night fury, but she eventually helps him take on the wild dragon. As the wild dragon flees to find another place to live in the lake, Toothless and the albino night fury now know about each other's abilities and they formed a bit of alliance for each other. Toothless tries to convince the albino night fury to come with him to an island where he stays and to get her to understand hiccup, but the albino night fury shakes her head due to her own fear of being out of her nest for too long. Toothless notices this as he eventually goes with the albino light fury to see if there are other night furies. Meanwhile hiccup and the riders are wondering why toothless hasn't returned for so long, Hiccup gives the idea that they should look for him. Astrid tells him that didn't toothless tell you to stay here so you can be safe? Hiccup tells her that they've been through a lot worse and nothing would ever stop him from saving his best friend. They eventually fly off with their dragons to search for him. We then cut back to toothless and the albino night fury as they reach a mysterious island that a huge hidden cave inside. As they crawl in, toothless notices the beauty and the atmosphere of the cave as it has colorful crystals laying around the place. As they reach the center of the cave, Toothless is in complete shock as he sees a whole flock of night furies living together in a large open space of the cave that has water, fish, and nests each night fury has for their mates and babies. Toothless roams around with the albino night fury to finally interact with other members of his species. Some were nice, others that are territorial, and baby night furies that would start playing around with him as he starts feeling genuinely happy that he is no longer the last member of his kind. However there was one night fury that is very territorial of other species, especially humans. It calls out a roar to the nest informing the flock thet it is coming out of it's nest, and it is revealed to be a titan-wing Elder Night fury with orange-reddish eyes with a lot of scars and it the current alpha of the night furies. His name will be Inferno and he shall be the main antagonist of my httyd 3 rewrite.

i like it, and i do like the plot you made for the movie, but i do think there should be hinted romance between toothless and ghost, because i like that idea the the original film layed out but i dont like the fact that they had kids, i think if they had a closer relationship than just buddies it could be fun.

The only thing is that do you really like *anything* from the sequels? From all the things you decided to scrap, the two movies might as well not exist(i agree for the third, but the second is iffy for me). Stoick's death honestly seems like the only one you kept and vauge premises from 3. Im not trying to bash on your opinion, but I'd like to know more on why you seemingly dont like the second movie(besides for the points you mentioned). I personally had it as my favourite in the series for a while before realizing how good httyd 1 was lol

Httyd2, however, I like. I don't LOVE it, but I still think it's pretty solid.
Some of the things I genuinely like about the second film is Valka as a character for instance, and her dragon Cloudjumper. Like I think them retconning Hiccups mum to be alive was handled really well. Also the fact that they let the characters age up, that was cool. I also enjoy Drago as a villain.
Then there's the things I really don't like about it; like the direction they take with toothless, what they do with the side characters, some of the designs, the lack of interesting dragons showing up... The rest I don't have strong feelings about? If I were to get into it, I'd probably do some re-writing on the second film too. Like I'm not a HUGE fan of Stoick dying right after Hiccup finds his mum lol, but I also don't think its terrible? and I dunno where else I'd plug it cause I don't think it would fit in the third movie. I just don't have super strong feelings on those other parts basically, so, yeah. It's fine. I do like and enjoy the second film a lot, but httyd1 for me is THE one. It's my favourite of the movies by FAR and always has been.

Albinos don't necessarily have red eyes. For example most human albinos don't, because the blue eyecolour in humans happens without blue pigmentation. Human eyes apear blue because of light reflection. We don't know how nightfurry eyes work, therefor claiming that albino night furrys must have red eyes is bs.
Albino literary mean there's no pigment at all. So no pigment in the iris, only blood vessels visible hence red eyes. Leucistic means there a LACK of pigmentation. There's still some in the eyes and maybe brown ish hue to the skin, which might not even be black melanocytes, but some other pigment like brown or red

This is such a gorgeous Fury!!! Oh my gosh!!! I found it funny that people got upset because you said it was albino and that it couldn't be albino because of the blue eye. There are dogs and even a very few cats with albinism who yes, has very light blue eyes. It is possible. But, if you were going by a leucistic snake/boa...they don't have spots, just a solid white/off-white body. But animals with albinism...can. Sooo...if we want to get technical...yeah, you were right the first time, it would be Albino.

since dinosaurs were thought to be dragons, and dinosaurs are based off of birds, I wish that the furies were somewhat like Birds of Paradise. the males are pretty, the females are, well - ok looking. I was also hoping, that since furies are REALLY dangerous, and especially night furies, that they would be scary. especially being able to blending into the night sky, making it an ambush predator and well, therefore, it should be able to strike fear into prey. you get what I mean? I wish someone in the studios could make it like that. it would be kinda silly.
also, the “Light Fury”, to me, is almost like a sub-species. I like the idea of the Light Furies being leucistic (is that how you spell it?) because then it would make sense that Toothless is not the only one now.
the movie gave her too much of a “female” appearance to where I think she’s a sub-species at this point. but again, l like the leucistic stuffs.
I love the design… BUT. I don’t like how it’s very similar to a nightfury… I know this is what people wanted but sometimes I wish people would make her redesign more… different, less nightfuryish and more of a different fury. What people don’t get is that the lightfury is supposed to be DIFFERENT. Agian- no hate. Not a party pooper-
This redesign is of a night fury tho, just albino. Also, you can find plenty of redesigns that either don’t stray too far from the og or make their own unique subspecies. Just searching up light fury redesign on google will show you many redesigns that clearly used the light fury as a reference, but ofc with more of a concept than ‘pretty female.’ I personally prefer night furies over a new species, but you do you ig
This isn't meant to be a light fury though, this is specifically a NIGHT fury, just albino. I explained that in the video and why I ditched making a separate fury species.

That was until I realised (among other things abt the third film in general) that the light fury was designed with extremely misogynistic intentions. You don't have to look much further than the pink love heart markings on her forehead, but if you really wanna see some messed up shit, search up anything from the art book about her, you'll find it.

I can see how this video might make it seem I don't like the second film. I actually do like it. It has some things I don't like about it and some things I'm kind of indifferent towards, and I don't think it comes anywhere near how good the first film is, but I think it's still a pretty good movie.
How to train your dragon 3 though is a different story. Yeah I hate that steaming pile o' garbage. LOL
