I'd imagine she doesn't use much auto-tune at all. I've seen videos of her just singing acoustically with no mic, where it's pitch-perfect.

Highly recommend checking out Hayley's solo work, too. Really highlights her range and tone. There's moments of Tori Amos and Radiohead in that record. Clever and interesting stuff. Great videos, my dude. Your joy for music always brings a smile to my face.

This song is a part of my "cleaning playlist", so when this comes on when preparing for company, or doing routine stuff around the house, my fiance and I will yell the "Buh duh buh buh duh buh buh dah" regardless of where we are in the house. Paramore is just fun music... love it.
Seen Paramore live 3 times, Hayley's voice was incredible every time. She even did some nice Dolly Parton covers one time to show respect to her Southern roots!

"The angles are wrong now, she's ripping wings off of butterflies." this line inspired the album art, which is a butterfly with one of its wings ripped off. This album has always struck as having a coming of age theme, or facing the real world and getting rid of your childhood fantasies, especially since Hayley and company were transitioning into early adulthood during this time.
There’s a few videos of just her isolated vocal that are a great representation of how great she is as a singer - Still into You, Misery Business (Grammys) - great videos David always look forward to them.
Watch the studio vocal version of their song “Still Into You”. It almost sounds identical to the actual song and I think it was the first take. I’d say they use very little autotune compared to other bands or artists.
I saw Paramore open for No Doubt years and years ago, but never really made a connection between the two beyond a female vocalist with an all male band, so that was interesting. Hayley's voice is amazing and I don't think she uses auto-tune much at all. There are lots of live videos of her singing that would show how much she doesn't need it.
Hayley's pitch is always spot on. Watch them live - she and the band set that bar pretty damn high.

I think No Doubt was a big influence for Hayley specifically; it's the reason behind one of the colours in her hair dye brand being called "Ex-Girl" - a hot pink to match with Gwen's hair in the music video.
Nope no auto tune. Her voice sounds exactly like this live. Her voice is that good and she doesn’t just sing rock.
Her vocals are INCREDIBLE live. She changes up parts in certain songs sometimes that are originally low, and instead belts them out so perfectly. For instance in Decode, at the end when she last says "we've made such fools of ourselves " she will belt out "selves" and it sounds amazing. They're touring this year I suggest you go! Will blow you away. The whole band is great, and she owns that stage.

I've seen Paramore in concert twice and both times her singing is on point. She really is a powerhouse of a vocalist because she can actually at all these notes live that she also hits in studio.
Hayley Williams has an amazing voice and didn't get a whole lot of credit always because of the type of music she sings. I'm SO glad people are paying more attention because she is an awesome vocalist! If you get a chance, check out Tonight Alive from Australia. Another killer female vocalist, Jenna McDougall, leads the band - they did an awesome cover of Little Lion Man a few years back if you're interested

This was the first band I saw live, actually. She + the band sound just as great/energetic in person.
When these guys hit the scene all my friends wouldn't shut up about them, and I was like "No way she can reproduce that live, she's 16!" They sent me live performance videos, and when I finally picked my jaw up off the floor (because even at 16 her vocals and stage presence blew me away) I became a life long fan.
They released a whole live album called "The Final Riot" from their tour supporting the album Riot! that I STILL have in regular listen rotation 14 years later.
Don’t stop pausing, it’s great hearing your insight/teachings and learning more about music threw it, keep up the great work!
I’m not a music teacher or anything but I think the harmony, the instruments, her voice control, and just everything in this song was perfect! One thing I love about Paramore is their music is very catchy and every song has meaning. I have a dream to be a singer one day too and Hailey Williams Is one of my many inspirations. Everytime she sings I can feel that in my soul because she has such a strong and amazing voice! Many people I have watched sing live didn’t do as good live as they did on their album but Hailey brings it everytime!

I've been listening to Paramore for a long time! I highly recommend the solo studio session Hayley did of Still Into You! It sounds exactly like the actual finished product.
This is such a good song. I don’t think she uses auto tune because there are many videos on here of the band doing promo acoustic set, just A singer, guitar, and bass. She sounds strong, perfect pitch and dynamics, and surprisingly she doesn’t appear to like using headphones or the little in ears so they mainly just jam with an honest to goodness stripped down acoustic
There is a video in RUclips of hayley singin in the studio the song Still Into You, and its the whole song in one take! Belting as her lite depends on it, just amazing
Having seen them now probably over 20 times live, I have to say that I don't think she uses autotune. If she does, it's so minimal you can barely notice. She uses backing vocals or tracks, but what artist doesn't? I personally think she sounds even better live than on the albums in some cases. No singer is perfect, and she definitely has her own times of being off pitch, but there's nothing like going to a live Paramore concert. She also has amazing vibrato. I hear way too many singers have almost "goat-like" vibratos or very staccato and not smooth. Stylistically it can be used and can sound great, but I much appreciate her vibrato over many other rock singers I've heard. They are just downright amazing. Please keep doing more reviews of their music. I subscribed because of you guys reviewing Paramore. Keep up the good work!! I forgot to mention, I think it's great you review music videos, but I think you should do their music video of that song then do the live version and see the differences. You'd be surprised and amazed. Her vocal range is roughly four octaves, spanning Bb2 - A5 - B6. Search for "All I Wanted" by Paramore live, and you'll see how crazy high and low her vocals can be. It's kind of known in the Paramore fan base that that song "All I Wanted" is one we all have wanted to hear her sing live. She's said on stage in the past she probably never will, but she did it recently and it was crazy. The ba-da-ba, ba-da-ba-ba-da. She has the audience sing them towards the end with them. It's awesome so you're spot on with that!!
Please listen to Turn It Off by Paramore. It's a really good song. And the lyrics is happy but somber. Makes you very sentimental
if you want to see her in studio there is a video that she is singing still into you for the recording session, but she shot on her iphone, so there is no treatment, all raw vocals

Anyway, forgot to mention last time that the drummer Zac has his own band as well. It's called Halfnoise, if you like groovy stuff you might be into it. Their Flowers EP is my fav.
Others have already mentioned there's a compilation video of Hayleys live vocals, though I have to mention before hand that she's sick on some of those performances. You'll notice it when you see.
Lastly, I chuckled when you said Hayley has a 'crystal clear' voice, when she has a song called exactly that on her first solo album. Which was entirely produced by her band member Taylor York. And Zac directed an mv for one of her songs as well, called Dead Horse. He also directed two for Paramore's last album for the songs Told You So and Fake Happy.

If you do any live Paramore reactions, you definitely need to check out "Let the Flames Begin" BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend 2013. That is my all-time favorite performance, and I can watch it over and over.

I think their might be some pitch correction when recording and my reasoning is that her voice sometimes cracks when she is singing live. But the cracking could be because she's been singing for multiple days in a row so my reasoning could be wrong.
there are reacters that pause so much they never get to really listen to the video and miss so much because they have to say something every 5 seconds but your videos have a great pace. you actually listen to the music and take in what you're listening to. great videos love the channel. we are here to hear your commentary. keep doing what you do.
You must end this paramore series listening to "hard times" from their 2017 "After Laughter" , they completely changed their sound on that album and I think you're gonna like it.

One of the songs where you can really hear Hayley’s love of Mewithoutyou, has a lot of riff similarities to Nice and Blue Pt2
Probably a bit of autotune to kind of polish the note but at the time when Brand New Eyes was recorded she realy had a very strong voice and high range, then she got sick and that changed a bit and her tecnic now is different on her singing then it was before
I think Hayley is just good. I absolutely love the live version of “Last Hope”. She is adorable. Wish I had given them a chance earlier but didn’t until maybe 4/5 years ago. Thank you!

When you get done with the 6by you really need to check out Hayley's solo work, some of her videos are directed by Zac Farro , and a lot of the instrumentals are done by Taylor York so even in her solo work all of Paramore is doing great still
