  • God made Adam and blessed him with great wisdom. God brought animals and birds to him to give them a name, so he did. After this, Adam saw nobody like him and felt alone. God made him a companion. Serpent made Eve eat the fruit, and she ate and gave it to her husband. Adam has choiced not to eat because he knew the day he ate, he would surely die, but unfortunately, he ate because of fear of losing Eve.

Hello brother, it doesn't say anywhere in the Bible that Adam felt alone or felt the need of a helper. It was God who thought that he should not be alone and provided him a helper. I believe that he ate the fruit because he loved Eve. He knew that Eve would die after eating the fruit and because of his love for her, he also accepted the death. It was also a foreshadow of Christ(the groom) and the church (the bride). Just as Adam chose to eat even after knowing the consequences, Christ chose to come in flesh and bear the consequences of sin and death which his bride was suffering from because of her choices. But as we know he eventually saved and redeemed us. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

@Sumit.C286 please also read the 2:23 where Adam exclaimed. Why does he need to claim something like him? It means he wanted somebody like him. He was watching the animals pair himself.

@@simonjaved Hello brother, I don't know which version of the Bible says "he exclaimed"....the NKJV and the NIV says "he said" and the Hindi version also simply says ki "Aadam ne kahaa"

@simonjaved Yes I read brother...but I don't know if any other versions match this NLT translation and even if he has exclaimed, I don't believe that his exclamation proves his desperation and therefore I chose to stick with what I believe. I guess at the end of the day we can choose to agree to disagree and carry on with our personal revelations as it is not causing any harm to the core message of the Gospel on which we both agree, believe and preach.
