Every time someone reacts to Super Junior, the first thing they say would be "I don't know anything about them." A few minutes later "ooh I think i've heard his name. He looks familiar. I think I saw him on some variety shows or drama. Oh, I know / heard this song. " Just super junior coded, basically.
💙SUMMARY ABOUT THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS AND THE OFFICIAL LINEUP OF SUPER JUNIOR (SJ) to date:💙 - I'll put the number of people in parentheses for better understanding* . ● Most of the members (12) debuted under the name *Super Junior 05* in 2005 as a project group that would rotate (graduating and changing members) every year (for example some of the Shinee members would have joined the SJ lineup and would have debuted as Super Junior 06), The idea was that each member already famous for being in SJ could choose the career that suits them best (acting/entertainment/idol/etc) and debut again in that field. ● However, the group was well received and the fans wanted that (12) member lineup to be static and not change. The company Smtown then decided to listen to the public and decided to add one more member (13) and establish the group officially so they removed the 05 and it stayed as *Super Junior*. so the official lineup was (13) members. ● Nonetheless, Smtown also wanted to experiment with the concept of sub units because they were planning to form a group with global impact, so having so many members, they divided them so that they also have some different concepts (in total Sj has/had a total of 6 sub units but for one of these sub units members were added: Super junior M: It was formed to establish itself in China so they decided to add 2 Chinese members, I emphasize that in the official lineup of sj there was already a Chinese member so in this sub unit there would be 3 Chinese members. So far it would be (13 + 2 = 15) ● Over the years, 2 members left the company and therefore the group : ■ Hangen: the first foreign member in the entire Kpop industry left due to mistreatment by the company, in those years the Korean industry in general was more xenophobic than it is currently. ■ Kibum : Left because he debuted under the idea of the rotating concept since he wanted to be an actor and not an idol. ●So far then we go with (11) members in the official lineup. SJ presented like this for several years but it should be noted that in the videos you will not see 11 members because it was in those years that they began to go to military service from 2010 to 2019. ●During this time one member went on hiatus so far and another left the group being then (9) official members ■ Sungmin: He went on hiatus because in 2014 he got married a few months before entering the army. Many "fans" took it badly and when he returned they threatened the group with a boycott and maintained a stance against this member, he decided to go on hiatus and until now some fans do not want him. However, he debuted as a trot soloist and currently performs like that. ■ Kangin: He left the group because he had some incidents for being drunk, some fans and Korean society look at him badly and in order not to affect the image of the group after being on hiatus for a few years he decided to leave the group. ● So now 2025 we are with an official lineup of (9) members. Nevertheless after the departure of all the members of the army, you still occasionally see ( 8 or 9 ) members in the videos. This is because Heechul suffered an accident several years ago and has after-effects/complications when performing on stage. However, he occasionally appears in the group's activities and is preparing to be more active this year as a member of SJ. 💙 AS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 💙 ● In 2024 Ryeowook got married and his private ceremony was attended by ALL the original members of the group (13+2), occasionally you can publicly see some of the meetings that some members and ex-members have, so we can assume that the members maintain friendship.🙂↕️🫶
In fact! to complement ● the current ( 9) active members are: Leeteuk / Heechul/ Yesung / Shindong/ Siwon / Eunhyuk / Donghae / Ryeowook / Kyuhyun. ● Members who is in Hiatus but still in contract: Sungmin ● Makes some activities as SJ M : Zhoumi ● Members who leave the company and the group as well: Hangeng/ Henry (SJ M) / Kibum ● Member who leave the group: Kangin.
Burn the Floor is a fan-favorite from their more recent songs. It only has a performance video which is amazing. They're also one of the funniest, most chaotic groups. Thanks for checking them out :) +their ballads are also so great and show off their vocals
I think Sorry Sorry is both the pride and bane of ELF existence. 😂 It was their first huge hit, and we can't help but go on autopilot whenever they perform it, but it becomes frustrating sometimes when that's the only thing people identify them with. Their discography is HUGE and that song is from 2009. 😅 I really appreciate reactors like you that take a larger sampling to get to know them. Looking forward to future videos. 💙
It is probably better to watch Suju in order as much as you can because later on it will get a little bit confusing as members left or went on military hiatus. The group never stopped promoting since they had the numbers to do so so their MVs from 2011-18 flux in who was active. Suju was SM's first attempt at a NCT like group. It was supposed to be a growing group with subunits (the first group to have subunits in kpop). They added Kyuhyun and the fans were like yeahh no to this idea so they stopped adding to the main group. But for Chinese promotions with Super Junior M - they added 2 chinese speaking members so they only exist in that subunit (though the Suju members personally treat them like full members as you can see at Ryeowook's wedding). So Zhoumi and Henry were like a lil reverse Shotaro and Sungchan in NCT. Those two only got to be in the Full group and not a unit.
Lol, the members' introduction is definitely the most difficult part for the newcomers, so basically they debuted as 12 members on 2006 kyuhyun joined and they promoted as 13 members (those are the main members), but unfortunately on 2009 they lost 2 members (hangeng and kibum), also kangin withdrew from the group on 2019 after being on hiatus since 2015 due to DUI incident, then there's sungmin who got married on 2014 and isn't able to promote with the group since then. He's currently promoting as solo and has an adorable baby boy. So all current activities will be by 9~8 members due to heechul's health issues. Active-members: Leeteuk, heechul, Yesung, shindong, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, kyuhyun. Then coming to the sub units(lol this gonna be long), actually super junior is the first group ever to come up with sub units idea and also they're the group with the most sub units so far, and as much as I know them I will not be surprised if they created a new unit, so they have 6 sub units. 1. Super junior K.R.Y (kyuhyun,Ryeowook,Yesung), the main vocalists unit they debuted on 2006. Their songs sends you directly to heaven. 2. Super junior T: T is stands for trot (is a genre of Korean popular music as per Wikipedia 😅) it consists of leeteuk, heechul, kangin, shindong, sungmin and Eunhyuk. This unit is probably their most popular unit in Korea with their hit song Rokuko. They debuted on 2007. 3. Super junior H: H stands for Happy. It has the same members as T but they had yesung instead of heechul. They debuted on 2008, their concept is very bright and fun, also their songs are the most enjoyable ones in concerts. 4. Super junior M: M stands for Mandarin. This sub unit main audience target is China. With Hangeng (the Chinese member) as the leader, Siwon, Donghae,Ryeowook and kyuhyun. Adding two Chinese members to this sub unit Henry and Zhoumi(they're part of Super juniorM only), so they're total 7 members. Debuted on 2008. After Hangeng departure from the group on 2009 two new members were added Sungmin and Eunhyuk 😅😂 (it's ok i got confused while writing this as well) The final line-up for this unit is, Eunhyuk, Sungmin, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, kyuhyun, Henry and Zhoumi. Henry left SM on 2018 tho. 5. Super junior D&E: stands for Donghae & Eunhyuk (i will try my best not to be baised 😂) the soul mates as suju members call them they had a lot of collaboration stages even before the formal establishment of their unit. They debuted on 2011 , and started to officially use D&E name on 2014-2015, they're the most active unit as of now with the most releases. Currently they're promoting under their own agency ODE entertainment after leaving SM, but they actively participating in the group activities. 6. Super junior L.S.S: the 5th gen sub unit 🤣 consists of Leeteuk, shindong, Siwon they debuted on 2023. As I said I wouldn't be surprised if they invented a new unit. Bro, this is just a glimpse of their 20 years career, also they have a lot of solo albums and activities, and they're everywhere on the variety world, drama movies seriously everywhere. I hope this would help a little, +10yo Super junior fan 🫡
Super Junior is still very much active and release about an album a year and even go on tours. They had a few members leave and have been a 9-member group since 2017. They are quite well known in Korea and abroad as they've pretty much entrenched themselves in almost every aspect of the Korean entertainment industry: music, tv, dramas, movies, musicals, variety shows, etc. 'Sorry Sorry' is iconic and almost every idol group covers it at some point in their idol journey. They have a very diverse discography and listening to it can show one how Kpop has evolved over the years. They are usually called the "Kings of Hallyu" by the Korean media as they were among the first to really push Kpop outside Korea and onto the international stage. They were the first to experiment and implement a lot of things we take for granted in Kpop today.
OG SuJu had 13 members and then they had a Chinese unit that added 2 other members so we really had 15 members BUT for Korea it was 13. They walked so NCT could run 🏃 with all these members and units 😂
@@Hyeri24 yes, Super Junior was originally Super Junior 05 with 12 members and after Kyu was added they removed the 05 and became Super Junior with 13 members.
Oh my gosh, finally!!!!!! 💙SUPER JUNIOR 💙 I knew the time would come somewhen in 2025, it's a pleasant surprise to see them at the beginning of the year in your channel. You just entered a treasure trove of underrated gems.
Super junior was the first group I’ve ever known in kpop in 2009, “sorry sorry” was the gangnam style of its time 😂 everyone knows it even though they don’t know kpop. Funny i knew kpop cause of sorry sorry, but the first mv I’ve seen was “it’s you” (cause we used to wait for songs on tv and my friend wanted to show me “sorry sorry”, but “it’s you” came first and she showed it to me saying it’s the same group, a lot of tmi sorry😭) they were known as the “King of Hallyu Wave" Sadly people like to omit their name when they had a HUGE impact on kpop and how it did become a worldwide thing, they were bringing people into kpop(me for example😂) they were definitely the reason I started to know and like kpop💕 Also, i do believe suju has the best vocal line in kpop❤️
Some info: -First group with many members (To make things easy to understand, they debuted with the concept of unlimited members like NCT but later they decided to leave that concept) the number of members would be something like this (13 official members + 2 exclusive members of the Chinese subunit = 15 ) -First group with foreign members -First group to have sub units
I've stopped watching reaction videos for a few months now (guess I just got too busy), but your video popped up on my timeline today and I just instinctively clicked on it! Welcome to knowing Super Junior, there's a lot going on for this group in terms of member lineups, histories, etc, so take your time to explore!😅 Such a nice coincidence that u found them just right on their 20th anniversary this year!
Finally it's 'Super Junior' my ultimate kpop idol!!! and "it's You" is my favorite of all kpop songs! The member that caught your attention in every mvs is Kangin(Kang-in), unfortunately that he already left the group.
I haven't listened to It's You in years, but this just reminded me that it's in my top 10 fave kpop songs of all time. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
SUJU is amazing, funny, and so diverse. I encourage you to watch SuperTV or any content from their variety shows. You will definitely gain a great perspective on their personalities; they are hilarious!
I did a presentation on Super Junior in high school before hahaha. My teacher wouldve keep doing their greeting hand gesture to me whenever he sees me. XD The voice that stood out to you was Kangin. He's not in the group anymore after hiatus in 2019. i definitely miss his voice alot... The one doing adlibs in these songs were mostly by Yesung. They have a subunit called KRY - Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung. Our 3 amazing main vocalists
i’m so excited you’re doing super junior’s discography omggg, they got me into kpop and they’re just such a fun group 😭 also yes they are vampires LOL they are aging so gracefully
yep they are still going! 20th anniversary this year and i'd say they're the most consistently active 2nd gen group. theres been maybe 3 years where they didnt release anything as a full group but even during those years they were doing sub-unit stuff and touring. for the members you kind of recognized: leeteuk has done a lot of mc stuff so you might recognize from a show or something :D shindong has done a lot of variety similar to heechul & eunhyuk was a weekly idol host if you've watched that! and yep kyuhyun was on peak time. they had 13 members from like 2006 to 2009? (someone cmiiw) kibum & hangeng left around 2010 and kangin officially left in 2019 after being on hiatus for multiple years. sungmin was basically bullied into hiatus because he got married and korean fans went crazy lol. super junior-m was their chinese sub-unit and it had 2 exclusive members zhoumi & henry. zhoumi is still with sm and actually just performed together with the remaining suju-m members in smtown 2025. yesung is doing the ad-libs at the end of u. and yes its yoona :) 27:07 is kangin and 27:16 is kyuhyun. and the last chorus ad-libs are yesung again kyuhyun is considered to be THE best male (if not overall) vocalist in kpop. their vocal sub-unit KRY was also the first ever kpop sub-unit.
Been a fan of Suju since 2009!!! Ive been there when one by one we lost some amazing members huhu hope you go through all their songs. You'll see how much they grow. Amazing group!
The long pause when you saw Ryeowook's name 😂 As a Ryeowook fan, I understand the struggle with his name, especially if you don't know Korean. If it helps, maybe calling him "Wook" would be better. The member changes and units in Super Junior is kind of difficult to understand as a non-fan, not to mention them going to the military also added to member shuffles. If you really want to get to know the members, I suggest starting from the 9 current active members and then learning the inactive and previous members. Thank you for reacting to them! I've been watching your throwback videos and I never expected you to get into SJ because many reactors don't really seem interested in them. I hope you keep checking out more of their stuff because they have not lasted 20 years for nothing 😊 (Added after watching the whole video) It's You is still my favorite SJ title track after 16 years. I first saw SJ through Sorry Sorry but It's You made me a fan (16 years and counting). About the choreo and utilization of the members, during their first years as a group, the line distribution and choreography focused more on the members who were already quite known to the public back then. But as you've observed, this slowly changed over time. FYI, Sorry Sorry was choreographed by Justin Timberlake's choreographer, hence it's sooo good.
OMG. Welcome to Super Junior's world. Everything about them is timeless. Their voices, songs, choreography, everything. And they are super fun, kind and supportive toward other artists. So I guess everyone loves them. I'm looking forward to more reactions of them. And I hope you also react to some of their live stages later. Because the live performances of their songs are even more amazing.
Oh, I can't wait to see more Super Junior reactions from you! I love watching people go on a SuJu journey. It will be a fun ride, for sure! The member line up does get complicated at times, but once you get the hang of it, there's nothing to it. All you really need to keep in mind is that from 2005-2010 there were 12-13 (plus 2 from the chinese sub unit), then in 2011-2016 it was down to 11, and from 2017 to now we have 10, but 9 active (plus 1 from the chinese sub unit). You will not always see all the members due to military enlistment, but that's how many should be in the group during those periods. The member who's voice you liked is Kangin. He left the group in 2019, and I agree he has a wonderful voice. The other member with the amazing ad libs is Yesung, who was not given a lot of camera shots in the beginning.
I wasn't into kpop back in 2005, although i randomly watch mv's in some music channels (tiktok/ spotify doesn't exist then and YT is not a big thing then) BB,TVXQ, SS501,CNBLUE , Wondergirls,2ne1 and GG are so famous back then, then i randomly watched variety shows where charice pempengco( now Cyrus) guested and happen to have a duet with Kyuhyun ( a whole new world) where they play a vtr behind the story of SJ' car acc*dent.. To make the story short,, i became a ElF first because of their brotherhood and the story behind their success,, when kyuhyun's parents had to fight for his life and his dreams to still sing when he recovers from an accident.. And yes.. i still believe.. "Super Junior .. THE LAST MAN STANDING"
"It's You," which also was released in 2009, is another classic Super Junior song. Just wait until you see them perform "It's You" live, like all of SM's groups, live is where they really showcase what makes Super Junior icons. Their live vocals are even more beautiful, and this song takes on a whole other feel. The guy you keep pointing out as the voice you like is KangIn, he is no longer an active member of Super Junior. However, he is active as a solo entertainer (he has his own vlog YT channel) and is still good friends with the members of Super Junior. (We ELF still consider all the members, active/inactive and former members, as members of Super Junior.) KangIn is a stage name that means strong one and he was given that name because he is known for being really strong, but his personality is very sweet and fans call him our strong teddy bear. Although this song sounds really beautiful, it's actually a breakup song and they are all heartbroken. You should look up the lyrics for "It's You" to understand the emotional impact of this song.
Kyuhyun debuted after the original lineup, because the original name was Super Junior 05. Then it was going to be changing, removing and adding members every year, but they debunked it because of their insane popularity. Once Kyuhyun joined, they stopped adding members and changed their name to "Super Junior". Another fun fact: Super Junior is the first kpop group to add a foreign member (Hankyung, Chinese) but he had to wear a mask on several promotions because of the extreme racism. This group has been through it all. And I love them alooooot
genuinely, the best way to understand the member counts between songs is to go onto Wikipedia. Under the member tab there's a graph timeline of when the members were in the group (minus the two members added only for super junior m releases)
I remember "sorry sorry" became such a hit way back in 2009 and it got me into Super Junior..this was the song that gave them wide recognition and i cant believe its been like 15 years already
Thank you for taking the time to react to Super Junior. Welcome to the DEEP dive into Super Junior's Music.😄💙 SUJU are known as the 👑'Kings of Hallyu (Korean) Wave' 👑as their song 'Sorry, Sorry' (2009) had gone viral and helped spread korean music around the world. They are true 'LEGENDS' 😊 Suju are still active. Their last comeback was in 2024 with their song 'Showtime' in reference to their upcoming Super Show 10 (Their concerts are called Super Shows) for their 20th Anniversary this year 2025. It will be spectacular. ELF are so excited.😄 The voice doing the adlibs in the backround is Yesung.
It is a really pleasent surprise to see them on your channel. These guys are so talented. I'd also like to see your reaction to their other stuff like Mango, Lo Siento or House Party 🤗
It's been a looonggg time haha 2009 was the year I got into kpop because my friend showed me their MV and I liked it. And became an ELF after that, still, and forever! I can't get away from them. Seriously.. there's no group like them out there for me. And yes they are still in this industry THE LAST MAN STANDING! They are a complete package group for me haha 'Ever Lasting Friend' . I think, I don't care about them as much as before (fangirling) but I feel happy for everything with them, I don't care if they can't do good dances or synchronized dances like before 😅 hearing their voices is enough for me. really elf and suju is a strange combination that last long, we call each other ajuhsi and ajuma because yeah we are not young anymore. that's how our relationship is now, a love that hard to explain. It made me miss the gen 2 era 😅
Yess Super Junior!! I recommend More Days With You, Raining Spell For Love (remake version) and Super Junior KRY's Dorothy for experiencing Suju's vocal. I think it's safe to say that It's You is in top tier of any ELF's song list. It is THAT good. And the choreo is a great one too. Ahhh Kangin's voice...I loved his voice as well. It's such a shame we don't get to hear his singing lately 😢 His voice is like a big warm hug
15:13 yeah, that's him, the maknae Kyuhyun. 17:18 it's Kyuhyun 17:26 it's Yesung 17:32 it's Kyuhyun again. 17:44 she is Yoona from Girls' Generation. 19:29 yeah that's him 😂 Oh, i just realized that the intro is different from the original one that released on 2009 😅 29:15 again, that's Yesung
I really like It’s you it’s just amazing and live it’s crazy vocals for them Super junior group has amazing music and songs i think I really enjoy them live more mv i think because this always the concert super show always more fun and interesting for fans and because the music they still make amazing songs for 20 years i really enjoyed and I really hope can go to concerts this year and soo excited for next album
Love to see a Suju reaction! Truly one of the best vocal lines of 2nd gen, and the backbone of SO many variety shows for so long. It's You it's still one of my favorite songs by them. From their early songs, I also love the rock song Don't Don. Warning: after Sorry Sorry was such a massive hit SM tried to recreate it multiple times. Like, I do like Bonamana and the other couple songs OK (Mr simple and Sexy free and single are the main offenders), but I'd recommend against reacting to them in the same video as it will get repetitive 😅 Of their other songs, This is Love and Evanesce are basically a diptych, so definitely do them together! They're in my top 5 for sure, along with Devil and Mango. Also, a SPY reaction would be fun because the members HATE that song lmao
9:30 the member doing the run is Yesung (one of the main vocals) & you were right about Kyuhyun, Heechul and Donghae in 'U', impressive that you already recognized those three! At 17:21 the adlibs were done by Kyuhyun and Yesung (Kyuhyun is also part of the main vocal line). If you want to hear vocals you should listen to Super Junior KRY. It's a Suju sub-unit with the main vocals: Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung. Fun fact that Super Junior KRY was the first sub-unit from a Kpop group ever. Super Junior started the concept of sub-units in Kpop. There are multiple Super Junior sub-units: Super Junior M (sub-unit which promoted in China), Super Junior KRY, Super Junior T, Super Junior H, Super Junior D&E, Super Junior L.S.S. The girl in 'U' was Yoona from Girls Generation. Also, 'Sorry sorry' is not just Suju's most famous song but it's one of the most famous songs in Kpop in general. It literally is part of the reason of the Hallyu wave in Asia. Also pretty sure that it's the most covered Kpop song ever. At 29:15 the vocalist is Yesung again. If you want to learn more about them, there's a pretty good and (sort of) recent guide: A GUIDE TO SUPER JUNIOR OT10 - 2021 (a little bit crack)
"U" is Kyuhyun's debut, so Ryeowook and Kyuhyun were young here. Kyuhyun was only 18 when he debuted and Ryeowook was about 19. "U" was released about 6 months after "Twins." Fun fact: Kyuhyun is such a talented singer that he only was a trainee for about 3 months before becoming a member of Super Junior and he was made a main vocalist from the very beginning -- even as teenagers they were amazing vocalists. All 13 members are here. (If you can get to know all the members of Seventeen, then getting to know the members of Super Junior should be no problem. There are the same number of members in both groups.) Some just have larger parts in the song than others. But I guarantee that they are all there. :D It wasn't until the addition of Kyuhyun and their release of "U" that they got their first win on a music program, and at that point they were at the tipping point -- pretty much one win away from SM deciding whether to break up the group, because the group wasn't seeing the success that SM wanted them to in order to make it worth keeping them together. Yes, the girl should look familiar, that's Yoona from Girls' Generation, Super Junior's little sister group, and they debuted in 2007. So, "U" came out before Yoona had even debuted. You should check out Super Junior-M's version of "U" next. "U" (Mandarin version), was SuJu-M's debut song. They also have an MV. Super Junior-M debuted in 2008. You will get to meet Henry and Zhoumi, Super Junior's Chinese members, as well. Henry is my bias in Super Junior and he is actually my ultimate bias in all of Kpop. (Because I can't chose a bias in SHINee, so they are just my ultimate bias group. ;P)
@@bandotaku I guess you are right, I hadn't considered the month he was born compared to the month he debuted I was just assuming he hadn't turned 18 yet. :D
I know Super Junior is a big group with LOTS of great music to check out, but I do hope you, RJ, check out their sub units… especially Super Junior M! 😬
You've been missing out. SUJU is just great. Lately I've been watching a live performance of U from last summer in Japan. It's addictive they're just so good.
The person voice that keep standing out to you is Kangin. He is my bias in SuJu and I freaking LOVE his voice. He’s one of the heavy set members. Not to be confused with shindog who can dance really good. Kangin is one of the members no longer apart of the group because he kept getting in trouble for DUIs. When I first got into K-pop I came across SuJu and was like NO! this group is to big. They have to many members! But let me tell you, they are full of comedians. I’m serious. Kangin one of the funniest members. I miss him.
Super Junior was originally Super Junior 05 with 12 members and after Kyu was added they removed the 05 and became Super Junior with 13 permanent members.
it will become smaller when they start to enlist. nice to check out mamacita when yesung was not with them, devil when shindong and sungmin were not with them, blacksuit when the 2 maknaes were not with them, and their come back as 9 with burn the floor. they are also very good with ballads. you can check their raining spell for love live vocal performance vid
Rj, my lovely your maths was a little off, it is twenty years this year. and boy do you need this group in your life. They are maniacs in the best possible way. Don't under estimate their talent and yet they are utter variety kings, behind the scenes they are bonkers. At the moment they are 9 members Heechul can't perform the dances due to a serious leg injury suffered many years ago bless. There isn't a kpop group that has not done a version of Sorry Sorry haha and don't forget they are Shinee, Exo and NCT's big brothers!!!!!! Respect on their name hahahaha.
Super Junior some of the best vocalist in kpop the sub unit of Super Junior KRY with the 3 main vocals Kyuhyun , Yesung & Ryeowook are out of this world and Kyuhyun on his own is classed as the best singer in Kpop . They were also the first group to have sub units as well if I remember right They have been around 20 years now and can still hold there own
-Super Junior will always be one of the best Legendary Groups for me❤️🔥 -Sorry Sorry is one of the most iconic songs everr and many boy groups loves to cover this song including BTS and also gg including SNSD🔥🔥 -The one voice that you like belongs to Kangin and he is one of my fav too along with Donghae and Kyuhyun☺️ -The most high note sung by Yesung, he is the main vocalist! -And lastly..yess..that's our young, cute snsd YoonA in U's mv!🤭 She will appear again in their mv, Marry You😘
"Twin's (Knock Out)" IS Super Junior's debut song and it came out in 2005. (In 2025 Super Junior is a 10 member group, but when they debuted they had 12 members and they eventually become a 13 + 2 = 15 member group.) This was when SuJu was only a 12 member group. Kyuhyun, who will become one of Super Junior's main vocalists and the youngest member of the group, He wasn't even a trainee yet. Kyuhyun didn't debut until 6 months after this, and he only trained for about 3 months before he became a member at age 17. (That's how talented SJ vocalists are. :D) If you watch a color coded lyric video with all the members' pictures, you will be able to see their names with their faces and you might be able to pick out who each of them are a little better, ruclips.net/video/antCy-RmAC8/видео.html. (This lyric video happens to put their pictures in order by the members ages :D) If you look up the English translation of the lyrics you will see why they used fire in this MV. The images of fire go along with what the song is talking about. SuJu is the group that really launched Kpop into mainstream popularity globally, but that wasn't until about 2009 with their song "Sorry Sorry." The MV for "Twins (Knock Out)" and choreography was actually groundbreaking and ahead of its time way back in 2005. Back then, the industry was so much different: they didn't have budgets, they had even more strict beauty standards and basically the industry itself was still struggling to make a name for itself globally. You may notice that they only showcased the main visuals in most of these early videos, but that was the industry's standard practice back then. Plus, the internet, digital media, and search engine platforms were not what they are today. If you watch some of their more recent interviews, members often share stories about how they struggled and competed to have more screen time, and everyday they worried that it would be their last in the group and that they would be cut. Super Junior originally were a 13 member group + 2 Super Junior-M members, so in these older videos you will see 12/13 members. Because Super Junior has so many members, it's difficult to give equal screen time to each of the members when the group is so large. (If they gave everyone equal screen time the song would end up being 7-13 minutes long and that's too long for most listeners attention spans, LOL.) Plus, each member has their own unique role within the group, so sometimes that means certain members have a larger part then others. Also, one thing you should keep in mind with these early SuJu songs, is that Super Junior wasn't originally supposed to be a permanent group, and the group was made up of members who were being trained in all aspects of the entertainment industry. So, SM's original goal for the group was to allow the members to gain more experience in the industry while they learned to be TV hosts, actors, models, comedians, etc. That's why in their first few songs some of the members roles are smaller. SM wasn't necessarily expecting them to continue as a member of this group in particular. The plan was to have the members graduate to other groups and other careers within the entertainment industry after a few months. It was SuJu's fans that saw the potential in the group as a whole and put a stop to SM's plan. When SuJu debuted the oldest members, Leeteuk and Heechul were about 22 and the youngest Ryeowook and Kibum were about 18. The very first person we see in the opening of this MV is Hangeng, who is Super Junior's first Chinese member and the very first non-Korean Kpop star. The one with the solo break dance in the opening is Eunhyuk, SuJu's main dancer and main rapper. However, the first person who sings in the MV and song is Siwon, who is the actor and visual of the group. The one that says "Got to get you out of my life ..." is Yesung one of SuJu's vocal powerhouses. And, the long hair redhead is Heechul. "Twins (Knock Out)" is actually one of SuJu's least popular songs, and many people even forget it exists unless they are dedicated E.L.Fs.
just a few comments along the way (because i like answering reaction qs 😂). 3:12 photos are recent, they're from 2024, except for heechul that was from 2022, and sungmin, i think that was from 2023. maybe leeteuk is familiar because he's also in a lot of variety shows. 3:22 yea, they dated from 2020-2021, iirc. he's also familiar because maybe you've seen him from knowing bros. and other variety shows. 4:11 he and eunhyuk choreographed some of their songs/performances but not the title songs. he is a director, he directed some of sj's mvs and other artists' mvs. he also direct other things like concert videos and stuff. he also directed some of sj's concerts (called super show) with eunhyuk. he's also in knowing bros with heechul that's why he's familiar. 4:45 he was one of the fixed panels/judges for nct wish, the show where they chose members for nct wish. he's also the weekly idol mc with kwanghee during the pandemic until 2023, i think. 5:00 hahahahaha this was pre debut and early sj years. 😂 because they're always in variety shows before, "facts" like this gets mentioned. 😂 5:35 we call him wookie 😄 but the pronunciation is riyowuk 5:48 yes, he's a judge from peak time. 6:12 yep. he's added 6 months after sj debuted. they were supposed to be the first "nct" but with graduating members. but fans didn't like the idea so the 13 member lineup became fixed. 6:42 tbh, we also don't know. 6:58 😂😂 they have a bit of a confusing history. you can get into the other members when you decided to go on a deep dive. 😂 8:05 they were 12 when they debuted, that's why in their wiki there are a lot of people. 😆 9:29 that's yesung, he usually does adlibs for sj songs, except when he was in the military. 9:42 that's pretty boy heechul 😄 10:34 one thing about sj, every member have very distinct voices, like you can pick the member who was singing just by the voice, but they sound very good when together especially when harmonizing. 10:56 i think you're referring to kangin 11:02 well, he was crazy back then hahahaha therefore the crazy eyes 😂 he didn't want to blink 11:37 there were 12 members - leeteuk heechul hangeng yesung kangin shindong sungmin eunhyuk siwon donghae ryeowook kibum. 12:06 i'm not gonna be surprised if they did use Windows movie maker to edit this mv 😂 but they didn't use a handheld camera, they showed a bit of a behind the sceens when they were filming this. 13:15 yes, because this was when kyuhyun finally joined then. 14:56 well, they were the first big boy group, with more that 5 members 15:09 your reaction 😂 yes, that's heechul, he's a crazy narcissist. but he's beautiful. 😂 he likes animes and mangas and visual kei (jrock) too much that he embodied them. 😂 15:17 yep, the maknae, kyuhyun. 16:08 he's an actor, siwon. maybe that's why he looks familiar. 17:17 yoona from snsd! 17:32 still, that's yesung. 24:32 yes. it's you is actually the last mv that consisted of all 13 members. after that, 2 members left that group. then onwards, a member would go into military every year. so every year, every mv, there will be like 10 members with different lineups, because one would be in military this year, then comes back the next year but another member will enter the military. it's a bit confusing. 25:02 U was in 2006, sorry sorry was 2009. both improved. 😄 25:34 i'm not sure where you were in 2009, but this song blew up. back when flash mobs were the thing. 29:16 still yesung!! the one who you thought got a polo shirt inside his tshit because of the collar. 30:30 because they're the first big boy group, i think at first, when they debuted, they didn't know yet how to choreograph them properly. 31:22 they officially became 10 in 2019 when kangin left the group. hangeng left in 2009 and kibum left a few years after that (not really sure the exact year, but he was on hiatus from after its you until he quit the group). thank you for the reaction! looking forward for more. 😄
super junior has soo mch variety, you have the permanent members and then the two chinese members added for Super junior - M but you also had different units with for example trot music. You probably feel like members are familiar because super junior is one of the few groups where most members are active in other entertainment places, they're often hosts or panel members. They're known to be really good for shows because of how witty they can be
I'm so happy to see you reacting to Suju! I watched your reaction to Peak Time, and now you'll get to see why Kyuhyun was the lead judge on that show! I'm so happy you pointed out Kangin's voice so many times. His voice is awesome and it deserves the attention
Listen the U video is so cringey but that song slaps to this DAY. I can’t stop thinkin bout you girl 🎶 Also I can’t believe you didn’t know Sorry Sorry already?? I think of that song as like OG K-pop songs everyone knows, but I guess we’re truly in a new era. I hope Suju has a big 20th anniversary promotion this year it would be so fun :)
13:18 "U" was the first release of Super Junior as a "permanent" group since in the beginning the idea was making the group temporary and use it to launch the career of the members so they could later focus on their careers in different areas as acting or variety shows.
You need to listen to Superman, Swing, Mamacita, Devil, Don't Wait, Mango, and Burn The Floor. These guys make a lot of great music and have great t8me doing it. The music videos to Mamacita and Don't Wait are hilarious.
Thank you for the reaction. You're right about the voices. You basically always pointed out the same members. The voices that stood out to you in the verses were Kangin: deeper heavy voice, and Ryeowook: bright, clear heavenly voice Beside Ryeowook, you also noticed the other two main vocalists Yesung: deeper huskier voice (did most of the adlips), and Kyuhyun: mid range, full melodic romantic voice The adlip in "U" that stood out to you most was started off by Kyuhyun going over to Yesung. Kangin left the group in 2007, so we miss his voice since then. Sujus main vocals Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung are also performing as the subunit KRY and are a pure vocal pleasure to listen to. Not only are they great singers, their vocal colours could hardly be any more different from each other. Amazing!
“It’s You” is one of my favorite kpop songs of all time. 😩
Omgggg same 🤍
X2
Every time someone reacts to Super Junior, the first thing they say would be "I don't know anything about them."
A few minutes later "ooh I think i've heard his name. He looks familiar. I think I saw him on some variety shows or drama. Oh, I know / heard this song. " Just super junior coded, basically.
100%
2005 was 20 years ago😂
We’re all still living in 2020 honestly haha
Omg lmao!!! I cant..🤣🤣
💀😭
I mean it so relatable, I still don’t believe anyone born after 2000 is not a child lmao
@@danbruins 2020 yess we gonna restart the covid. 😅😅😅😅
29:14 The vocalist with the amazing adlibs and husky voice is called Yesung.
💙SUMMARY ABOUT THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS AND THE OFFICIAL LINEUP OF SUPER JUNIOR (SJ) to date:💙
- I'll put the number of people in parentheses for better understanding* .
So far it would be (13 + 2 = 15)
● Over the years, 2 members left the company and therefore the group :
■ Hangen: the first foreign member in the entire Kpop industry left due to mistreatment by the company, in those years the Korean industry in general was more xenophobic than it is currently.
●During this time one member went on hiatus so far and another left the group being then (9) official members
■ Sungmin: He went on hiatus because in 2014 he got married a few months before entering the army.
💙 AS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 💙
● In 2024 Ryeowook got married and his private ceremony was attended by ALL the original members of the group (13+2), occasionally you can publicly see some of the meetings that some members and ex-members have, so we can assume that the members maintain friendship.🙂↕️🫶
It's a long summary, because 20 years is not a short period of time.😂🙂↕️
In fact! to complement
● the current ( 9) active members are:
Leeteuk / Heechul/ Yesung / Shindong/ Siwon / Eunhyuk / Donghae / Ryeowook / Kyuhyun.
● Members who is in Hiatus but still in contract: Sungmin
● Makes some activities as SJ M : Zhoumi
● Members who leave the company and the group as well: Hangeng/ Henry (SJ M) / Kibum
● Member who leave the group: Kangin.
in 2024 member who left SM, and have double contract:
Kyuhyun join Antenna
Donghae&Eunhyuk make a new company, ODE Ent
Super junior has been through so many things. Their documentary movie (The Last Man Standing) doesn't even tell half of the story
Burn the Floor is a fan-favorite from their more recent songs. It only has a performance video which is amazing. They're also one of the funniest, most chaotic groups. Thanks for checking them out :)
+their ballads are also so great and show off their vocals
"it's you" hits different. The runs are chef kiss
SO EXCITED FOR MORE SUJU! ❤❤ their stuff just gets better and better!
After Hangeng departure from the group on 2009 two new members were added Sungmin and Eunhyuk 😅😂 (it's ok i got confused while writing this as well)
The final line-up for this unit is, Eunhyuk, Sungmin, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, kyuhyun, Henry and Zhoumi.
Couldn’t have said it better myself ! Props to you you beat me to it lol
OG is actually 12, since Kyu didn't join until later, but 13 was the main for a while.
@ Kyu debuted with them. What are u talking bout? He was in a really bad car accident that made him take a leave but he was there from the beginning
@@JamaicaDiamond24what are you talking about 😅 Super Junior originally debut with 12 members and Kyuhyun got added a few months later
@@Hyeri24 yes, Super Junior was originally Super Junior 05 with 12 members and after Kyu was added they removed the 05 and became Super Junior with 13 members.
Super junior is the reason why I'm into KPOP :D
RJKPOP FINALLY REACTING TO SUPER JUNIOR?!????? IVE BEEN PRAYING FOR TIME LIKE THIS LETS GOOOOOOOOO
Funny i knew kpop cause of sorry sorry, but the first mv I’ve seen was “it’s you” (cause we used to wait for songs on tv and my friend wanted to show me “sorry sorry”, but “it’s you” came first and she showed it to me saying it’s the same group, a lot of tmi sorry😭)
they were known as the “King of Hallyu Wave" Sadly people like to omit their name when they had a HUGE impact on kpop and how it did become a worldwide thing, they were bringing people into kpop(me for example😂) they were definitely the reason I started to know and like kpop💕
Also, i do believe suju has the best vocal line in kpop❤️
Super junior members have appeared on a lot of variety shows. They are literally entertainers !!!
Some info:
-First group with many members (To make things easy to understand, they debuted with the concept of unlimited members like NCT but later they decided to leave that concept) the number of members would be something like this (13 official members + 2 exclusive members of the Chinese subunit = 15 )
-First group with foreign members
-First group to have sub units
Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
sorry sorry live goes hard actually ❤
anyway, love this reaction, thank youuu, cant wait for more super junior 😍
SUJU is amazing, funny, and so diverse. I encourage you to watch SuperTV or any content from their variety shows. You will definitely gain a great perspective on their personalities; they are hilarious!
I did a presentation on Super Junior in high school before hahaha. My teacher wouldve keep doing their greeting hand gesture to me whenever he sees me. XD
The voice that stood out to you was Kangin. He's not in the group anymore after hiatus in 2019. i definitely miss his voice alot...
The one doing adlibs in these songs were mostly by Yesung.
They have a subunit called KRY - Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung. Our 3 amazing main vocalists
I became an ELF in middle school after my 1st time listening to “It’s you”. That song was and still is addictive!! Time really flies 😢
i’m so excited you’re doing super junior’s discography omggg, they got me into kpop and they’re just such a fun group 😭 also yes they are vampires LOL they are aging so gracefully
yep they are still going!
(someone cmiiw) kibum & hangeng left around 2010 and kangin officially left in 2019 after being on hiatus for multiple years. sungmin was basically bullied into hiatus because he got married and korean fans went crazy lol.
super junior-m was their chinese sub-unit and it had 2 exclusive members zhoumi & henry. zhoumi is still with sm and actually just performed together with the remaining suju-m members in smtown 2025.
yesung is doing the ad-libs at the end of u. and yes its yoona :)
27:07 is kangin and 27:16 is kyuhyun. and the last chorus ad-libs are yesung again
kyuhyun is considered to be THE best male (if not overall) vocalist in kpop. their vocal sub-unit KRY was also the first ever kpop sub-unit.
I hope you keep checking out more of their stuff because they have not lasted 20 years for nothing 😊
(Added after watching the whole video) It's You is still my favorite SJ title track after 16 years.
Super Junior are so underappreciated when it comes to talent ❤️ 😢
no they are not
Thank you for taking the time to react to Super Junior. Welcome to the DEEP dive into Super Junior's Music.😄💙 SUJU are known as the 👑'Kings of Hallyu (Korean) Wave' 👑as their song 'Sorry, Sorry' (2009) had gone viral and helped spread korean music around the world. They are true 'LEGENDS' 😊
Suju are still active. Their last comeback was in 2024 with their song 'Showtime' in reference to their upcoming Super Show 10 (Their concerts are called Super Shows) for their 20th Anniversary this year 2025. It will be spectacular. ELF are so excited.😄
The voice doing the adlibs in the backround is Yesung.
the one that you keep noticing for his vocals is a former member, Kangin. and yess, his voice also one of my favourite
7:31 😂😂😂 That "quality" was what happened AFTER SM upgraded it to hd. It was practically unwatchable before that. 😂
It is a really pleasent surprise to see them on your channel. These guys are so talented. I'd also like to see your reaction to their other stuff like Mango, Lo Siento or House Party 🤗
It's been a looonggg time haha
2009 was the year I got into kpop because my friend showed me their MV and I liked it. And became an ELF after that, still, and forever!
I can't get away from them.
Seriously.. there's no group like them out there for me. And yes they are still in this industry
THE LAST MAN STANDING!
They are a complete package group for me haha
'Ever Lasting Friend' . I think, I don't care about them as much as before (fangirling) but I feel happy for everything with them, I don't care if they can't do good dances or synchronized dances like before 😅 hearing their voices is enough for me. really
elf and suju is a strange combination that last long, we call each other ajuhsi and ajuma because yeah we are not young anymore. that's how our relationship is now, a love that hard to explain.
It made me miss the gen 2 era 😅
wow finally they have a lot of hits songs and here is some
Mamacita
Mr, simple
Spy
Sexy free and single
Perfection
Evanesce
Devil
Super girl
Don't don
no not spyyyy lol
Yess Super Junior!!
I recommend More Days With You, Raining Spell For Love (remake version) and Super Junior KRY's Dorothy for experiencing Suju's vocal.
I think it's safe to say that It's You is in top tier of any ELF's song list. It is THAT good. And the choreo is a great one too.
Ahhh Kangin's voice...I loved his voice as well. It's such a shame we don't get to hear his singing lately 😢 His voice is like a big warm hug
Suju is the first group that I've stan. From Yesung, to Kyuhyun, to Ryeowook...vocal heaven.
15:13 yeah, that's him, the maknae Kyuhyun. 17:18 it's Kyuhyun 17:26 it's Yesung 17:32 it's Kyuhyun again. 17:44 she is Yoona from Girls' Generation. 19:29 yeah that's him 😂
Oh, i just realized that the intro is different from the original one that released on 2009 😅
29:15 again, that's Yesung
I have "너라고" tattooed. It's You it's my ultimate favorite song. ♥️
I really like It’s you it’s just amazing and live it’s crazy vocals for them
Super junior group has amazing music and songs i think I really enjoy them live more mv i think because this always the concert super show always more fun and interesting for fans and because the music they still make amazing songs for 20 years i really enjoyed and I really hope can go to concerts this year and soo excited for next album
Like, I do like Bonamana and the other couple songs OK (Mr simple and Sexy free and single are the main offenders), but I'd recommend against reacting to them in the same video as it will get repetitive 😅
Of their other songs, This is Love and Evanesce are basically a diptych, so definitely do them together!
It wasn't until the addition of Kyuhyun and their release of "U" that they got their first win on a music program, and at that point they were at the tipping point -- pretty much one win away from SM deciding whether to break up the group, because the group wasn't seeing the success that SM wanted them to in order to make it worth keeping them together.
(Because I can't chose a bias in SHINee, so they are just my ultimate bias group. ;P)
Kyuhyun was actually 18 when he debuted, which would make Ryeowook 19 at the time.
@@bandotaku I guess you are right, I hadn't considered the month he was born compared to the month he debuted I was just assuming he hadn't turned 18 yet. :D
@ Lol, it's all good. The point is he was still young. I just know offhand because he is two years older than me.
And Ryeowook trained for 2 months before Suju debuted. LSM hesitated between Suju member and Shinee's leader for him.
I know Super Junior is a big group with LOTS of great music to check out, but I do hope you, RJ, check out their sub units… especially Super Junior M! 😬
Finally🎉, you must watching their variety show, very entertaining
Super junior!! ❤
Please please please do burn the floor omg
Finally 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💙💙💙💙💙💙💙😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I love super junior til the end 🥺💙
yes it's true..that girl is indeed from the Girls Generation group..her name is Yoona 😊 and she's my bias ❤
You've been missing out. SUJU is just great. Lately I've been watching a live performance of U from last summer in Japan. It's addictive they're just so good.
finally super junior ❤ My favourite from these songs is "U", especially their latest 2021 live performance !!!
I LOVE SUJU💗😆, so excited to watch your future content on them 🥳
it will become smaller when they start to enlist. nice to check out mamacita when yesung was not with them, devil when shindong and sungmin were not with them, blacksuit when the 2 maknaes were not with them, and their come back as 9 with burn the floor. they are also very good with ballads. you can check their raining spell for love live vocal performance vid
It's you is my favorite song ❤ i love so much this song , live is better❤
Rj, my lovely your maths was a little off, it is twenty years this year. and boy do you need this group in your life. They are maniacs in the best possible way. Don't under estimate their talent and yet they are utter variety kings, behind the scenes they are bonkers. At the moment they are 9 members Heechul can't perform the dances due to a serious leg injury suffered many years ago bless. There isn't a kpop group that has not done a version of Sorry Sorry haha and don't forget they are Shinee, Exo and NCT's big brothers!!!!!! Respect on their name hahahaha.
Wowwww, finally Super Junior reaction❤🎉 Thankyou !
more super junior pleaseeeeeeeeeee
Super Junior is the best group!! keep watching in order please xD Heechul crazy eyes 🤣
There's an old collaboration between Super Junior and Solar from Mamamoo. It's fun.
3:56 true 😂 no worries about military service. Ryeowook is even married. I'm happy that our idols are actually living their lives 👍🏻
They really did Sungmin an injustice... so glad Ryeowook didnt have to leave. He is my bias.
@lynZy05 ikr....some people don't realize that all idols have to live their private life as well
Necesitas verlos en vivo, Super Junior en vivo es magico... 💙💙💙
Super Junior some of the best vocalist in kpop the sub unit of Super Junior KRY with the 3 main vocals Kyuhyun , Yesung & Ryeowook are out of this world and Kyuhyun on his own is classed as the best singer in Kpop . They were also the first group to have sub units as well if I remember right They have been around 20 years now and can still hold there own
FINALLY SUJUUU ❤❤❤
We need 4 parts for super junior😁
more than four
@@jeyneo.8924Si tienes razón muchos más para cubrir los casi 20 años de carrera 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
More than 4 haha Subunits too. SJ-T and M haha
Yesss
My favorite group 💙💙💙
-Super Junior will always be one of the best Legendary Groups for me❤️🔥
-Sorry Sorry is one of the most iconic songs everr and many boy groups loves to cover this song including BTS and also gg including SNSD🔥🔥
-The one voice that you like belongs to Kangin and he is one of my fav too along with Donghae and Kyuhyun☺️
-The most high note sung by Yesung, he is the main vocalist!
-And lastly..yess..that's our young, cute snsd YoonA in U's mv!🤭 She will appear again in their mv, Marry You😘
SJ in the house leeegggooooo 💙💙💙💙💙
U and It's you never aged man '(
Omg finally, thankyou so much RJ💙
Mr. Simple was my introduction to Super Junior ❤ I like Its You and Bonamana
Esperando por mas , y creo deberias cubrir la sub unidad Super Junior KRY que es la subunidad vocal💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
woah... SJ... have fun RJ... it is long as ride😆
If you watch a color coded lyric video with all the members' pictures, you will be able to see their names with their faces and you might be able to pick out who each of them are a little better, ruclips.net/video/antCy-RmAC8/видео.html. (This lyric video happens to put their pictures in order by the members ages :D)
If you look up the English translation of the lyrics you will see why they used fire in this MV.
RJ in his ELF ERA …FINALLLLYYY
just a few comments along the way (because i like answering reaction qs 😂).
5:35 we call him wookie 😄 but the pronunciation is riyowuk
5:48 yes, he's a judge from peak time.
6:12 yep. he's added 6 months after sj debuted. they were supposed to be the first "nct" but with graduating members. but fans didn't like the idea so the 13 member lineup became fixed.
6:42 tbh, we also don't know.
6:58 😂😂 they have a bit of a confusing history. you can get into the other members when you decided to go on a deep dive. 😂
8:05 they were 12 when they debuted, that's why in their wiki there are a lot of people. 😆
9:29 that's yesung, he usually does adlibs for sj songs, except when he was in the military.
9:42 that's pretty boy heechul 😄
10:34 one thing about sj, every member have very distinct voices, like you can pick the member who was singing just by the voice, but they sound very good when together especially when harmonizing.
10:56 i think you're referring to kangin
11:02 well, he was crazy back then hahahaha therefore the crazy eyes 😂 he didn't want to blink
11:37 there were 12 members - leeteuk heechul hangeng yesung kangin shindong sungmin eunhyuk siwon donghae ryeowook kibum.
12:06 i'm not gonna be surprised if they did use Windows movie maker to edit this mv 😂 but they didn't use a handheld camera, they showed a bit of a behind the sceens when they were filming this.
13:15 yes, because this was when kyuhyun finally joined then.
14:56 well, they were the first big boy group, with more that 5 members
15:09 your reaction 😂 yes, that's heechul, he's a crazy narcissist. but he's beautiful. 😂 he likes animes and mangas and visual kei (jrock) too much that he embodied them. 😂
15:17 yep, the maknae, kyuhyun.
25:34 i'm not sure where you were in 2009, but this song blew up. back when flash mobs were the thing.
They're known to be really good for shows because of how witty they can be
There songs are bangers
At last! Can't wait for the other parts and don't forget Sorry Sorry Answer next time.
I'm so happy to see you reacting to Suju! I watched your reaction to Peak Time, and now you'll get to see why Kyuhyun was the lead judge on that show!
I'm so happy you pointed out Kangin's voice so many times. His voice is awesome and it deserves the attention
Love that you’re doing super junior!!!! ❤
fun fact: Twins (Knockout) is a remake of a British boyband song titled Knockout
Suju actually has one of the best vocal lines in kpop 😅
13:18 "U" was the first release of Super Junior as a "permanent" group since in the beginning the idea was making the group temporary and use it to launch the career of the members so they could later focus on their careers in different areas as acting or variety shows.
My first kpop boy band. It's funny Heechul still look the same. My bias is Yesung.
Edit: Yes, Kyuhyun is the maknae.
You need to listen to Superman, Swing, Mamacita, Devil, Don't Wait, Mango, and Burn The Floor. These guys make a lot of great music and have great t8me doing it. The music videos to Mamacita and Don't Wait are hilarious.
omg finally SUPER JUNIOR ❤❤❤
Oh my, super junior reaction! Thank you very much!! Be sure to listen to 'sorry sorry - answer'. It's too good to be missed.
Thank you for the reaction.
You're right about the voices. You basically always pointed out the same members.
The voices that stood out to you in the verses were
Kangin: deeper heavy voice, and
Ryeowook: bright, clear heavenly voice
Beside Ryeowook, you also noticed the other two main vocalists
Yesung: deeper huskier voice (did most of the adlips), and
Kyuhyun: mid range, full melodic romantic voice
The adlip in "U" that stood out to you most was started off by Kyuhyun going over to Yesung.
Amazing!
