100%You never, ever, ever hear this man's name mentioned and it is a fucking sin ! an absolute beast on guitar and like you said, some of the tastiest not to mention most memorable licks in R&R history. Criminally underrated INDEED!

Was able to see the power house duo inducted live! Following them since the beginning when I was 19 years old in '79. To see them inducted at 62 was a dream come true!
Something about the name Neil. At least 4 mega icons in rock history, and much like his guitarist brother (near namesake) Neal Schon, most of his legendary licks are burned into our collective memory, note for note. Hugely underappreciated band and members, justice is finally here.
Saw her in 1981 at a small venue in Tempe, AZ at the start of her trajectory to super stardom. Concert tickets and merchandise were $5-$10 dollars. The good ol' days.
Agreed! I love Pat and Neils music and their story together!!! I'm very excited they are in the RRHF now! So, I am a very young 68 yr old father of seven and now have 5 grandchildren, all with one stunning and beautiful wife. She is absolutely timeless! I tell her if I could extract what's in D&A and sell it, we would be the first trillionaires. We are closer than ever. My adoring wife and I have been very happily married for 40 years now. How is that, we chose too!!! I just surprised her with a beautiful exotic machine. It's Italian just like her. Why did I, while for no other reason than shebis so deserving of it. We also make sure we bless our adult children and their famlies in many ways, too! I am so grateful to be able to do these things. Pat & Neil keep Rocking as we are, too!

Neil Giraldo Bullied himself into the Hall of Fame, I Never went to a Pat Benatar Concert or purchased her album because of Neil, Basically, If Neil is not Inducted, Pat would not accept. Hall of Fame should have passed.
Either you're nuts and or The Rock & Roll hall of fame is nuts ! He wrote the music , he wrote the songs , he is as deserving as she is and Pat knows it,and is appreciative and loves him enough to lay down the law. They are a team , they are the band

@@FrankC71 JD was never a member of the Eagles, he only wrote, he never had studio time with the Eaglers, he never toured with the Eagles either was Jackson Brown so it is hardly the same standards , This dude is no less a full fledged member and a heavy contributor to Pat Benatar the band, He wrote all of the music, he wrote most of the lyrics, , unless I am incorrect about Jackson Brown, I think he was almost a member , never official

I went to every Concert that hit Austin back then, and all of my Ticket Stubs T Shirts and Tour Programs said Pat Benatar, Plus, if Neil is so great, why isn't he in the Song Writers Hall of Fame?
