This is very well said. I'm reminded of a quote that says "comparison is the thief of joy" so true! I have struggled with this and never fail God would show me how the person I was jealous of had their own "cross to bear" and that my own struggles were light in comparison. This video is so timely because I just finished reading the story of Joseph and his brothers this morning. It’s truly one of my favorite stories in Scripture, largely because of the powerful theme of redemption woven throughout its conclusion. The depth of jealousy in this story is striking-it wasn’t just surface-level resentment; it was a bitterness so intense that it drove Joseph’s brothers to betray him in such a heartbreaking way. Yet, despite all the hurt, the story ultimately unfolds into one of forgiveness, reconciliation, and God’s unwavering faithfulness. I've been going through this so bad.... especially finding a few months ago on my husbands phone he had been watching porn , then other things on RUclips , of other women at beaches,,, wearing lets say,,, hardly anything , ..... It tore my heart into shreads!!!! As I'm getting older and have had four of his children , and now I see younger fit women he's looking at .......I can't breathe......how do I deal with this ? He promises to never again, but I don't believe him, it's been a ongoing issue through our 24 years of marriage.......so now I'm finding myself crying......hating seeing commercials of women in bras .... everything.....even just news casters. ....I just feel broken......and I don't know how to shake this😭😭😭😭😭💔🙏

He wont touch me, hug me, nothing and then I find porn and that led to finding out more and more and more. I truly understand your brokenness and i hurt for you. I will pray for you and for your husband and for your family.
I understand your feelings! First of all, women shouldn't be wearing provocative things in public making themselves a temptation to other women/men to sin, sadly devil is king of wordly things and in this matter immorality in sexuality is one of the most shameless sins that all generations are exposed. Porn shouldn't have ever existed! One thing was old prostitution but now you commit sexual sins with people that you don't know through a screen! As a young woman I know most of us women/men have been at some moment in our life exposed to porn, many are addicted and whoever wants to stop porn addiction should feel shame to hurt God. I pray for your broken heart Annie and I hope God will guide you to heal.
A verse for encouragement to the same ladies...this is Paul speaking about being an Apostle, but in similar spirit, it is of God to focus on Christ and hope for your husbands to turn their love to their wives (second to Christ of course), according to Christ's position as the Bridegroom and the church as His bride: 2 Corinthians 11:1-3 NASB1995 [1] I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness; but indeed you are bearing with me. [2] For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. [3] But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
Well even beyond your hurt, it’s this world also. Im not making an excuse for your husband, but we have normalized nudity so much, you cant turn on the tv or open the phone without some sexual suggestion….even ads! I hope he overcomes it, and I hope you find forgiveness. It’s no excuse for men, we have to figure out those hurdles. Your circle will sink dramatically, but it will make you so much better.

I’ve been going through this with my Bible. I see other peoples pretty bibles and how they have been highlighted. I get caught up in the green eyed monster that I fail to see it’s about my journey in His word. If I keep my eyes on Jesus I am good.
Ok I confess I’m jealous of all the women that can stay home with kids. My husband is just not supportive of that at all. We could afford it but he just is not into it. So I’m jealous of people that technically have less, yet so much more ❤

Wow I am in the EXACT same boat. I so wish my partner could be supportive of that, but it’s simply not something I feel I could ever win with him. I struggle with just trying to soak in and enjoy the moments and time I do have with my babies. Thank you for sharing and to know we are not alone in this …❤
