May not be the original Halo theme, but when I first heard this while playing through the level, it just sounded right. Don't know if anyone else felt the same way I did and still do.
I wonder how playing this would sound an a real piano i feel like it would be different? Out of curiosity have you heard about top of the spear played in Sythesia? It sounds in a way like some retro games theme to me. Sorry for random comment
@@jimbobsandwich4299 And why better if you use reverb, I could memorized it (cuz i don't know how to read sheets) and made some modifications and delete some parts to make it easier and(in my opinion) better, because I'm not good. Ater that I can say that this music is definitely better with reverb
Well, technically, if Chief didn't stop Didact, he would destroy all life on Earth, so yeah, it was the most important thing at that time, and nothing else matters
You can do it by yourself, I play piano about a year, I don't know how to read the score and still, i managed to play this, i've made some improvements to make easyer for me, but i "can" play it
+Croco lonso No, it's not. I have the soundtrack. Volume 1 of the soundtrack, all but one of the pieces were by Davidge. That one piece NOT by him, was 117 which was by Kazuma Jinnouchi. Volume 2 was about 50/50 split for Davidge and Jinnouchi. Kazuma composed 117! Don't believe me, take a look here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halo_4_Original_Soundtrack and www.halopedia.org/117 117 is attributed to Kazuma Jinnouchi, NOT Neill Davidge.
I would consider this fairly hard to play. However you can remove the octaves to make it somewhat easier for you to play. Practice makes perfect. Good luck!
I played this, can't play the whole song but the beginning to the the middle is fine for me its just difficult to not hit two keys with one finger, cuz of my twitchy fingers But I did start playing piano about a year ago
the master pilot Well, there isn't sheets for this particular arrangement, but there are sheets for a different - and admittedly, far more difficult - arrangment by Akmigone. Just Google "muse score halo 4 117 piano sheets" and that should pull it up for you; just warning you now, it is death on the left hand.
What? The AI was bad Gun designs were bad Ammo capability was bad Character development was bad although some characters were very well developed such as Laski. Multilayer was bad Vehicle sections were bad Tell me what was good about Halo 4 except for nostalgia and the dramatic finish?

I know I did.
the bpm is wrong
Devin Clarke i don’t need to play the game and hear this to feel that it feels right. It’s like halo reach, it yelled halo but in it’s own way.
Dude I'm a Bungie fan but halo 4 was great and the soundtrack was something new and original but still felt like halo. This is just great
I felt the same way
I've never noticed until now but the composer actually wrote in a leimotiff of the original Halo theme into the background the song absolutely genius
the music dude or forerunner weapon
@Marvel Spark Leitmotif is a short recurring musical phrase, used for a certain charakter/game etc.
Halo's leitmotif is the "dundundun-duuun".
My new goal is to learn how to play this by the time Infinite comes out. I've always really loved Halo 4's soundtrack
I wonder how playing this would sound an a real piano i feel like it would be different?

It only sounds slightly different on a real piano

I'm intending to learn all the songs in order from good ol' days of Halo CE to the recent Halo Infinite pieces
How's it going bud? 1 week left!
I love this song I still play Halo 4
I saw your profile pic and instantly recognised you as a guardian. Videogames unite people.

@@akari350 who hate the halo 4 and 5 design of master chief
this song reminds of just how much fun I had in Halo 4, I don't care what anyone else says, the game was a master piece
Why people hate it I don't understand? Getting to fight a new enemy was awesome!
Halo 4 is a big pile of cow turd but that's your opinion to make not mine
Lulster 10 the ai were pretty bad
GawsHawg yeah it really was and the hate is too much to understand
@@teamrecon5984 even if the game play wasn't so good the soundtrack was pretty good

Yeah same, this was the one point in halo 4 where I truly enjoyed the campaign, it just felt right to me
"And yet, still you fail."
-The Didact.
3:04 is just ughh 🥵 perfect
Superb. Probably the best rendition of 117 on piano I have heard.
This composition goes back and forth between overly simplified and flat out impossible.
Anyone who can play this on piano or strings forever has my respect
I can't play the whole thing but it's still pretty good
I can play but i skipped some hard parts, and i made some improvements to make it easier
epico
you need to have massive hands to play this
or just be an octopus
or something like that
youtube commenter or something like that Or a piano with sustain, you know, the pedal of the right .-.
learned this in about 30 min lol
Nice job. The whole orchestral version of the song is just epic, incredible energy and very dramatic. Reminds very much of Hans Zimmer.
3:04 best part for sure
you sir should do more piano cover of Halo themes :)
I mean, synthesia
THANK YOU!
PERFECT! 5 ☆
Awsomeness doesnt Drop on 1:17 0/10, now seriously this is great, just need to speed up a little bit
Cam 3155 nope, this is the right speed.
I wish I knew how to play piano now
Then learn. nobody naturally knows how to play the piano. They have to learn it
no kidding

im sorry
i didn't know that
+Team BombHead Thanks for pointing that out! I will include him in the title. I still have to give props to Davidge for being credited the soundtrack.
Cool

I just punched a giant hole in the wall with my bare hands and it felt good.
I don’t really like halo 4 and most of its soundtrack but it definitely had a few gems like this
Is this hard 2 play (for starters)?
I would consider this fairly hard to play. However you can remove the octaves to make it somewhat easier for you to play. Practice makes perfect. Good luck!
brandon brooker for sure
Yeah no dude this will take a tad longer to learn if you're just picking up on the piano
Hell yes

But I did start playing piano about a year ago
Hi. Have you also piano sheets of green and blue on mediafire? I searched them everywhere
Next time try to put some bass in the background, it would sound even better i think 😄 but still great vid
Do you mind if I use this for a remix?
(with credit of course)
Insert khz117
I won’t lie I hated halo 4 (liked campaign) but no matter what I could never say it had a terrible soundtrack by far one of the greatest in halo.
Anyone know where i can get the sheet for this with the abcgefg on it plz

I love halo 4. Many people had their dislikes with the changes that happened. However, can't we just be fans for the franchise, not critics.
