यूँ लगा जैसे ज़िंदगी से मिले
इस तरह कोई क्यूँ किसी से मिले
अजनबी जैसे अजनबी से मिले
साथ रहना मगर जुदा रहना
ये सबक़ हम को आप ही से मिले
ज़िक्र काँटों की दुश्मनी का नहीं
ज़ख़्म फूलों की दोस्ती से मिले
उन का मिलना भी था न मिलना सा
वो मिले भी तो बे-रुख़ी से मिले
दिल ने मजबूर कर दिया होगा
जिस से मिलना न था उसी से मिले
उन अँधेरों का क्या गिला 'मख़मूर'
