@@alexthediydude awesome. I think it was bought for like $500. I was debating sending it back, but I’m not doing anything incredibly heavy duty with it anyway. As long as it doesn’t break in the next 12 months and reliably do what I need it to, I’d say I’d be happy with it.

@TheHenrybolton no worries at all. That's the good thing about amazon. U always get your money back 😀 Unfortunately the support with them ain't great and I'm pretty sure due to low price of the unit they wouldn't bother doing warranty repairs, they would either refund or replace.
The whole "discount" thing is shady, but the laptops are worth the price they cost in the end. The N5095 is essentially a very cut down 10th Gen i3. Everything else (the SSD, RAM, etc) is the same as it would be in any major OEMs ~600$ laptops. There has been a Celeron variant of every Core generation since the third, they are always low voltage, low performance versions of the current gen. It is, at worst, a bad price if you buy the first one you see. Look around a bit and youll find them for considerably less than an OEM low end laptop. It isnt a scam because nothing is fake, nothing is misrepresented, and it all performs exactly hjow it should, which again is only targetting 'usable" and not "high performance". It does Usable just fine for the price.

Bought one of these from Amazon USA for $239.00 USD. NO ethernet connection so I bought a ethernet to USB adapter from Amazon and that works OK. Next problem I had was no sound when trying to use the headphone jack as a line output to connect to my stereo system like I do with all my other PC and Laptop and got No Sound. I e mailed sgin=tech as that was the only way to contact them. They sent me back a lot of things to try and none worked. Finally I asked about sending it to them for repair under warranty and they replied would I accept a $50 Amazon credit instead so I took that. Took the laptop to a computer shop, they said they made some software changes to get the earphone jack to work. Got it home and still no sound using the earphone jack as a line output and no sound. I tried using a pair of powered PC speakers and those work. Same 3.5mm plug ( TRS ) that is on my patch cord to connect to my stereo system and that still does not work. You have to keep it in mind that this is a Budget Laptop and from my experience the 1 yr warrantee is usless. For the most part I am satisfied with the rest of it I enjoyed viewing this review video here seems honest and straight forward enough
Thank you very much for all that information as it will be very helpful for a lot of people on here I would suspect. Thank you for the feedback as well 😀
Watched this video 3 months ago when I bought and here’s a update the mouse pad malfunctions then after a while it started shutting down on its own now it won’t turn on again. I barely used it and it’s not working now. Also after a while the keyboard letters were changing to other letters then the letter O stopped working. I can’t return it as it was a gift and I was not buyer …just don’t buy
And now another sound problem. With a pair of powered PC speakers connected to the earphone jack, they play for a while and then go off and the internal speaker comes on. A pop up comes on the screen on the lower right asking what has just been plugged in earphone or headset/ Select one and then click OK. External speakers come back on for a short while then go off and switches back to internal speaker. As I enjoy listening to online webstreams of music and entertainment I find this situation to be a major annoyance so back to the computer repair shop it will go. A shame that this brand new laptop is such a problem.

I personally haven't tried photoshop myself, but I did use Excel and RUclips and that was perfectly fine. Definitely recommend getting a set of speakers though if you like your music or good sound quality :)
wHERE IS THE CONNECTION FOR ETHERNET ?
There is none but you can buy an ethernet to USB adapter which is what I did, same for using regular size SD Cards.
Hi there. Sorry for not replying.
Unfortunately this one hasn't got one.
Like you said that's the best way to do it is to buy an adapter
Bought one of these from Amazon USA for $239.00 USD. NO ethernet connection so I bought a ethernet to USB adapter from Amazon and that works OK. Next problem I had was no sound when trying to use the headphone jack as a line output to connect to my stereo system
like I do with all my other PC and Laptop and got No Sound. For the most part I am satisfied with the rest of it
I enjoyed viewing this review video here seems honest and straight forward enough
Thank you very much for all that information as it will be very helpful for a lot of people on here I would suspect.
Thank you for the feedback as well 😀
I was looking on a discount place, and it says its just over £500 and it's down to just under £150
They obviously changed it now
I have a 14"screen cannot find how to type the divide key no google solutions work
That's an interesting question. Have you tried attributing key program?
whats the boot key for this laptop
The one on top right side
Does it have a fan?
As far as I'm aware there is a CPU fan under it
Your video that you made about the SGIN tablet that, I have that exact tablet but it cracked 9 days ago😭😭😭
Yeah unfortunately that tablet is just not good at all 😞 laptop however is much better
Can it use micrsosoft word and adobe
Yes it can. I have got them on mine
Thank you for sharing this feedback. I feel like so far I've been lucky. I was planning on doing a video on it soon again
@@alexthediydudelol it’s too bad i saw your video after I bought it but good luck to you though
@queenmiraplays3276 thank you. Yeah I hope I'm not going to get the same issues 😞
Can you play a game for example Dota 2?
I haven't tried games on it yet. But if you check game requirements for the PC and compare it to this one u should be able to see 😀
I just need it to run an ebay business that needs windows.? Good enough for that?
Thank you..
You're welcome
Hi
I want a reasonable priced laptop PURELY for video editing. This one came up in reviews! Any advice anyone???
Please do not buy it for video editing
Processor will not be good enough for it.
It would work but will take ages and will be very slow
Anybody know how to contact the sgin manufactor
For me I only had to deal with them through the amazon service
Can we get a teardown of it? I just took one apart for a client (amateur business man here lol) and did not see what i was expecting, to say the least.
No CPU fan, no visible RAM
Can we get a teardown plz? Thx!
Did this Laptop have a fan or was it fanless?
Yes it has got a fan
Please pan over the entire keyboard! It's important to show all of the keys, specifically does it have a capslock? And a right click?
Literally all laptops do so yeah
Hi there. Yes it got CapsLock and right click 😉
The laptop is basicly a notebook motherboard, its not worth 300 at all it is junk and i got mine for free as i fix devices
Thank you for your opinion and I'm glad that you got one for free 😀
I just cancelled my order. So annoying.
Why? Did you not like it?
It’s useless. It doesn’t have Word, the only reason I bought it and half the keys don’t work. I can’t even enter my email address. Rubbish.
That's really unfortunate 😕 thank you for letting us know. Did u buy it on Amazon?
Have you reported it?
@@alexthediydude Yes, I did.
Hi, can you play Roblox on this? TIA x
Hi there. Yes, there have been people playing it on this computer. I personally haven't installed that.
I would definitely recommend upgrading the sound system thouhh
Roblox ran but was very slow for me.. even using different gaming options, steam, xbox, gog etc etc direct x 12 problems. But I'm a noob
This is now £147.63 on eBay UK from the SGIN official store UK with a 2 year warranty

I have seen this kind of videos ... and all the guys ... including Alex HAVE APPLE PCs or APPLE LAPTOPS ... all the videos show the APPLE LOGO ... they are paid by Apple to give bad publicity to some non-name companies for take them off the market?
Haha if you watch the video I'm not actually giving bad publicity to anyone and i still have this laptop and use it -.- .
That Apple is not my to be honest. It's my other half's and I personally don't like Apple anyway.
So you comment is completely pointless here...
@@alexthediydude ... come on! ;) .... if you say so ... have a nice day :)
I am new to this and there is no companies paying me for anything 🙃 why would they do for someone with 47 subscribers anyway.
I don't know what your problem is, but obviously u haven't watched the videos anyway to see that I'm not actually saying not to buy it -.-
Let's be completely real here, why would Apple, who make computers for a completely different demographic of people at a completely different price point, give a dingleberry off a rat's ass about "taking down" a Chinese manufacturer of low end laptops that are hardly built for web browsing? How in your mind does that make sense?
@knight8023 thank you.
I was wondering that myself... but obviously some people got a different opinion
This laptops fan barely works and the inside is a total crap😂
NOOOOO!!!!!THESE ARE THE WORST PIECE OF POO YOU CAN EVER GET! I GOT ONE FOR FREE AND I STILL FEEL RIPPED OFF. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST! DON'T DO IT DON'T GET ONE! THEY ARE ABSOLUTE TRASH
