  • Comparing styles side by side between Peter & Naomi and Andy & Mia.
Movement 1: Send out. Movement 2: Bring in. Movement 3: Open tuck turn. Then all 4 of them demonstrate some of their favorite variations on side passes.
Some differences of note. On the Send Out, Peter rotates his whole body further into Naomi and uses his rotation to lead the movement out for Naomi. In contrast Andy steps into his own arm and sends his hip into the direction of travel and then follows through with his arms. You can see that Mia moves into her own arm and moves quickly into open unspooling into a long stretch in open.
On the Bring In, you can see Mia's unique movement where she really allows her lower body to push forward transitioning from having her feet directly under her weight to having her feet and lower body a bit ahead of her chest/shoulders between 2 and 3.
On the Open Tuck Turn, Andy really digs his shoulder down into the prep and looks for a deep prep for creating a wide arc for the turn using an alternate footwork (1: L rock 2: R step 3: L tap 4: L step 5&6: RLR triple step). Mia does a nice styling footwork styling (1: R rock 2: L step uh(3): R step / L kick uh(4): L ball 4: R change).
