Thanks! The signal chain is as follows: Guitar -> Boss GT-100 -> Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 -> Amplitube -> EQ The GT-100 is only used for its wah pedal but any Crybaby type wah should work. The signal chain in Amplitube is also pretty straightforward: Noise Gate -> Compressor -> Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier -> Mesa 4x12 Cabinet (w/ Dynamic 57 and Condenser 87 mics) -> EQ-81 Triple Rectifier because he used these amps live around the same time of Albino Slug's release. Channel 1 for clean, Channel 2 for rhythm and Channel 3 for lead. The EQ-81 merely acts as a buffer here because it brightens the tone a bit just by leaving every knob at unison. Note that for rhythm guitar sections like the intro, wah was on, sitting at 100 all the time. In the end, the thing that nudged the tone very close to the original for me was EQ matching. That mostly meant tweaking the 1 kHZ - 5 kHZ range in my case. Hope this helps.

Pardon the late response, buying from them has been a great experience for me. I get why you're hesitant because I read/heard the same things. As for the stuff I read, the main issue seemed to be lack of communication which definitely isn't true nowadays. The buying process was smooth, I got regular updates and I felt that they were very accommodating with the requests I had. It took roughly two weeks to arrive from the moment of buying which is insane to me! About the guitar itself, the scale length is 27 inches yes. No twisted neck, no fret buzz, no sharp frets, no note deadening on bends, intonation is perfect, the black fretboard color seems to be coming off ever so slightly here and there. Knobs turn like butter. Only issue I had with electronics was the signal going very quiet sometimes when switching to the neck pickup but that seems to be a common thing with these 3 Way Switches so I don't blame 10s. The guitar's setup for lower tuning. It comes with 12 or 13 gauge strings tuned to B Standard out of the box, which after changing to 9 gauge strings and tuning up to E Standard, caused fret buzz on the open low E string for me since the nut is setup respectively to the thicker strings. Easy fix was to insert a small piece of paper in the string cavity of the nut. So the thing to note here is, ask them to set it up for Standard tuning if you plan to tune up. Generally speaking though, it is setup very well and playing it feels super smooth. The guitar is also very resonant on its own which I think is awesome. Hope that clears things up for you!
