Im 58...owned many mustangs.... Always wanted a 67 Fairlane... thats why im here..... Not sure why i never have .... Right now im living the fantasy ...watching...
Whoever owns this car. You did an outstanding job on the restoration. I love these 67 Fairlane’s yours has it all my friend. Congratulations on a beautiful car.
I have to say.. that's the nicest one I ever seen. It's my favorite body style from that time. A GTO, Malibu etc.. couldn't hold a candle to it. That color is outstanding.. it's a real man color.. sorry ladies.
I wanted to get a 67 Fairlane but were a little pricey for me and I ended up with a 66 Comet. Again like your car, except I started with a 390 but I'm in the middle of strokin it to 445. I always liked the stacked headlight look!! You car is extremely sharp and well done, thanks for showing it. I like seeing cars like yours cause it gives you a goal even though I'm not going to your level.
Awesome car. I could look at it over and overand still discover new details. The interior and the paint job including the choice of the color to begin with are excellent. I could get lost in that blue.
I had this car in white when i was a kid my first car in high school 1988 i dont have it anymore but sure do miss it people just dont understand unless you have owned one
Generally speaking, GM and Mopar get the bulk of the fans for the 60s and early 70s muscle cars, and there's no denying cars like the 70 cuda, 63 to 67 Corvette and 65 GTO were in my opinion some of the best - but there's something so absolutely perfect about the 67 fairlane and comet, especially when resto modded as perfectly as this car. Ford didn't knock too many out of the park (yes, I bleed Ford blue) - but when they did it right (including the Boss 429) they could play with any of the big boys. Kudos on a perfect job!
beyond gorgeous car with a very impressive beast of a motor under neath the hood love to see and hear that beautiful beast idle and roar beyond awesome video
Great looking car ! I thought the 66 was slightly better looking ! Would love to own this car. I had a 66 Cyclone GT 390 4 spd back in the day. Added a 750 double pumper and full length headers. Surprised a lot of GTOs and 442s on Hawthorne Blvd in the late 60s , A&W to the Witchstand !
Such a stunning car! Every inch of it is a credit to your time and dedication putting this work of art together. I'm late in commenting but i do hope you still have this beast in your garage. Every detail has been well thought out, from the layout in the engine bay, to the rear wheel tubs and the billet highlights in the interior. Awesome work John, no wonder Jason is posting vids of this car everywhere :) I love how you have used opposing colour scheme for the interior, blue on white as the exterior is white on blue. Ignore those who say white is too much, its absolutely stunning and will keep your mates hands clean before they ride with you too. I'm also glad to see another March serpentine kit on a Ford engine, I have one on my 351 Aussie Landau Hardtop and it really looks the goods. You must have been one of this first to try the new Holley Sniper EFI kits too.. Makes a big difference in responsiveness hey. I think I am about to buy a 66 Fairlane XL Convertible, here in Australia these 66/67 Fairlane's are pretty rare. I hope once i'm finished 'tweaking' mine it will get some decent respect around the traps. I could never even begin to embark on a project like you have with yours.... Kudos to you and all that helped and were involved, no doubt there was a good patient woman involved along the way too :) If I was wearing a hat, i'd take it of too you John.. Happy days mate
Used to think that those Fairlanes look like a brick, a car far from the elegance of GTO's of the same era and never payed attention in my eyes. I'm wrong for sure. It is damn good, looks so stiff, handsome yet looks so raw despite shining chrome and paint on it. And sounds so good that could be Beethoven's 10th symphony should he lived that long...
Wow, that's nice. I love the aftermarket A/C vents and controls, usually they look so cheap. The only ding against it AT ALL is the billet window cranks and door handles.... too ornate.
This is my dream car,I love it! The only critique I have personally is the interior,I prefer the old school look over the new look that seems to be so popular right now,Dave kindig is the worst about resigning something that doesn't need it, regarding interiors, his exterior designs are great though.
looks great somehow I still prefer my old 67 Ranchero I couldn't fit the rear suspension although it was a factory 390 four barrel for Speed with air conditioning and a consoled some type of burgundy with an ivory interior beautiful truck Fairlane does look great
Where can we read or watch more about this B E A--utiful ride. I am currently searching for a 67 Fairlane or LTD near me but it sure is a difficult search. I'll be going partial pro touring but I will never have the funds with a lottery win. LOL. Awesome ride sir.
I love that color! Forgive me, if someone already asked; but, what color blue is that, and how can I get it for my f-150? By the way, wonderful job on the motor. Love the Cragar style rims too. I'm so glad you didn't throw some 22's or some gaudy things on it. Your car is like a rollin art gallery, man. Very impressive! I have always loved the 67 Fairlane XL 500 body style.
hey man, how did you make those door panels? did you use the original tops of the door panels? or strip down the originals and repad and recover.. I have a galaxie, and I hate mine, that is soo much cleaner!
Im 58...owned many mustangs.... Always wanted a 67 Fairlane... thats why im here..... Not sure why i never have .... Right now im living the fantasy ...watching...

I had a red one with a black top, lots of fun back in the day.
Just noticed the 1950's Fairlane emblem in the trunk.
Very cool and thoughtful and respectful.
I love it!
I have to say.. that's the nicest one I ever seen. It's my favorite body style from that time. A GTO, Malibu etc.. couldn't hold a candle to it. That color is outstanding.. it's a real man color.. sorry ladies.
Wow! As a Chevy guy I am in love. Three pedals like it should and NOT overdone. Lots to love about this car. You kept it under control and it shows.
I wanted to get a 67 Fairlane but were a little pricey for me and I ended up with a 66 Comet. Again like your car, except I started with a 390 but I'm in the middle of strokin it to 445. Gorgeous fairlane and it sounds amazing. I have a 67 cyclone gt soon to be a pro touring mercury.
I owned a 66 Cyclone GT 390 4spd in the late 60s . Let’s talk !
Simply beautiful
Lost for words.... this is such a beautiful car!
Awesome car. I could look at it over and overand still discover new details. The interior and the paint job including the choice of the color to begin with are excellent. I could get lost in that blue.
That IS the sweetest. Fuckin. Ride. I've ever seen!!!!

I am currently working on a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500. Let me tell you, I'd love to pick this guy's brain for days on what went into his rig. Great car

A beast like that needs 2-4s on it. Yes !
Sometimes the simpler the better!
Wow, that's nice.
I love the aftermarket A/C vents and controls, usually they look so cheap.
The only ding against it AT ALL is the billet window cranks and door handles.... too ornate.

Perfect in my book!
Very nice Fairlane but I'd put that Tach somewhere front and center rather than buried under the dash in the console.
What engine does this Fairlane have in it, it sure sounds healthy and overall very attractive.
dang i love this car!!
Nice
Where can we read or watch more about this B E A--utiful ride. I am currently searching for a 67 Fairlane or LTD near me but it sure is a difficult search. I'll be going partial pro touring but I will never have the funds with a lottery win. LOL. Awesome ride sir.
have you looked on Craigslist ?
I love the smell of unburned hydrocarbons in the morning. That car was done right!
A scratch n sniff video? I missed it...
I love that color! Forgive me, if someone already asked; but, what color blue is that, and how can I get it for my f-150? By the way, wonderful job on the motor. Love the Cragar style rims too. this is a very nice care
How do you check the tach when it’s so far below your field of vision?
with my ears
What a Chariot....
Beautiful job. I had a 67 like yours. Mine was white. Your choice of blue is perfect. Is that a 289?
+St White no, it"s a 514 efi
+john c Oh! Jeez excuse me. Whatever you put in it it is a beautiful car. You should be proud.
+john c this is no 514 its a small block 302
+harold souza , 302, really,, that remark shows me just how much you know about motors
john c Don't be a fool , I build ford engines I know a 302 when I see one, I guess you dont
Done "RIGHT!"
Beautiful, but question, why is the drivers door a different blue
Would you take a swap. I have the missus and two kids and a mongrel cat. Will take a straight swap. I will be keeping my beagle.
How did you get such wide tires in the back? I can't get more that a 245 out back on my '67 Fairlane GT
cut two inchs off of each side of the rearend, cut the axles down and cut the inner fender wells and added three inchs to widen the inter wells
love what you did to the car. What are the wheels and tires sizes thinking of going with 17s but unsure about tire size
Put it gear and make some fucking Noise!
Real women dig it!
This car just kills!
Fuckimg Awesome!
I have a Galaxie 500. Where did you get your wheels?
I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! I have a 66' that I am working on. What is the wheel and tire combo on this car?
hey man, how did you make those door panels? did you use the original tops of the door panels? or strip down the originals and repad and recover.. I have a galaxie, and I hate mine, that is soo much cleaner!
A wet dream!
Molto bella!
Very nice ! Did you did the engine yourself ?
I little audio about the car would be nice.
Love the white guts Looks like no expense spared
What size wheels and tires do you have on front and back
