My turret wasn't shooting other pawns so I tried unchecking "Only Sense Players" under the AI tab. It seems to work fine, but I don't know if it will be a problem later.

Hi, great tutorial just a quick question how would I stop the turret shooting at the player if the player is in a death state as when I created the turret and it kills the player the turret still shoots and won't respawn the player as when the bullet hits the player it keeps repeating the death state
what I would do is in the third person character create a boolean variable called player is dead and set it to be true when the player is dead and so the turret knows he is dead at 2:23 drag of as third-person character and do branch and check if the player is dead. If he dead and it is true leave it so this does not connect with the sequence and if it is false plug into the sequence, so the turret will shoot only if it sees the player and he is not dead
@@skald7995 you need to cast to the character you using instead. e.g. if you were in first person template using first person character you would cast to third person character, or if you are using own character you would cast to that specific character.

Saw your flashlight video, it need functionality with ON/off, also you could do health pickups a lot of people have it wrong. Or ammo

is there a way to make this target an enemy as when i change the cast to the enemy character the turret does nothing
It works great at shooting the character but I can't make it shoot other pawns how could I fix that?

i did everything but my bullet is shooting sideways .. the turret is following me but not the bullet

I don't have the option "Cast To ThirdPersonCharacter"... Someone maybe knows the reason, or how i can fix that?

I couldn't get the last parts. The subscribe tags took up most of the screen while the tutorial was still going.
