*Me, a lifelong puzzle and horror enthusiast, watching this as soon as work is over and I have a nice dinner in front of me* Like seriously, this was great, and I'm so jealous of your puzzle space!
It's so interesting to hear how puzzling has helped your mental health. I genuinely believe that cross-stitch help my depression because I could be stationary but productive and therefore feel less guilty? Puzzling is like putting everything in it's place, and the satisfaction it provides is like a warm glowy feeling. You've reminded me how much I loved doing puzzles, and I've got two unopened that you've inspired me to take a crack at. 😝 Love seeing you pop up on occasion in the RUclips sphere. 🖤
I found your video randomly on here one day and it's what got me into Mondo! I am a big nerd and lover of all things horror, so I'm grateful that I heard about that brand. I did end up getting The Thing off eBay, which sadly is missing a piece, but it was worth it! Easily one of my favorites in my very large collection of puzzles. 😆 (I have Castlevania and Jurassic Park by them as well!) I got into puzzles about half a year ago or so and they also are what help me with anxiety and depression. It's a break away from everything. I'm glad to see they help others out there like they do for me. 😊
yesss I love Karen Puzzles, I started watching her during the pandemic as well as started my puzzle journey. I also took up diamond art which I think I enjoy even more. The one good thing from covid is the opportunity it gave to personal creativity 🧩💎
Your puzzle history is like identical to mine. I recently found Karen too. Idk if you're into reddit but the jigsaw puzzle page is so good! That's where I learned about Karen.
I resonate with so much that you said! - Yes, I had done some puzzles before - Karen Puzzles was also to be "faulted" on my returning to puzzling - And, is also, one of the few things that helps my anxiety, is just like you said! It feels like while I`m puzzling I my brain is already using that part! All, to say, thank you, to put into words what I was feeling
I'm in the middle of the mystic maze right now!!! I also started puzzling in the pandemic! I totally agree with you that graphic designed or illustrated puzzles are so much more fun.
My grandma was a HUGE puzzle fan! She would do a lot of 1500 puzzles when i was younger. A lot of beautiful landscapes of places she traveled to, like spain and france. Dis video makes me want to do puzzles again. Also, i think i would be great to help with anxiety. As you said, it focuses a part of the brain that overthinks! Thank you for this vid! It was fun!
I know that this video is one year old, but I just discovered it now and OMG. you are one of my favorite RUclipsrs just based in your horror content, but seeing that you're into puzzling too is just awesome. I have always loved puzzles, but it's just now that it's becoming more and more of a hobby because of something so similar to what you just said: I have anxiety issues and my overthinking just becomes dead silence whenever I'm doing a puzzle. Too bad that most of the puzzles you show are difficult to get in Europe, but my wishlist is only growing. Thank you for this vid!
I grew up doing puzzles with my mom and grandma. Probably 5 years ago I was going through something terrible and I started doing puzzles again. Like you, it really helps with my anxiety. I do almost everyday (i'm working on one while watching this lol). I have a special table where I do my puzzles and a puzzle board that zips closed because my dog loves to steal pieces. I loved this video! None of my friends or family are quite the puzzle enthusiast that I am so I don't get to talk about puzzles as much as I want to lol, so I appreciate this video! I was kinda shocked that you said the gradient puzzles were good for beginners because for me I can't complete one lol. I haven't heard about a few of these puzzle companies so I'm so excited to go browse the sites! Thank you for this video!
Thank you for going through each puzzle and saying where you got them, I also started in the pandemic (thanks to Karen!) and I've mainly just done Ravensburger puzzles that are easy to find, but this video has inspired me to go on a hunt for lots of beautiful puzzles from different brands 👀
One of my favorite videos you've ever done, Sarah! I could listen to you passionately talk about puzzles for hours lol. Just ordered two, thanks for the inspiration!
Happy Isles was my first Magic Puzzle. I had no idea what the magic was, but my daughter did and she kept asking me when I was going to be done. I loved how each one of the isles had different silly little people on it, SO FUN!
Sarah I am so happy you're back to this channel!! I missed you. I love pluzzes, sadly I can't do many because I don't have a place to keep them during the process but I am saving to buy a special mat for it :)
I love the same types of puzzles! Book cover puzzles are my absolute favorites. I also love Aimee Stewart puzzles because there are so many little details that it’s like a hidden object game.
I loved this video! It's so fun to see what other people's puzzle preferences are. Your favorites were very different than mine. For myself, I don't keep very many puzzles because I don't like to redo them, but I love trading puzzles and finding interesting puzzles from thrift stores. My mom still makes fun of me on the regular over the time I threw my back out doing a puzzle when I was only 19 😅
I am a puzzler and found Karen puzzles in 2020 when I was stuck at home. She relit my obsession with puzzles as well. I am a person that likes to frame my puzzles though so my preference of puzzles is more about the image. I have a pretty big collection and we only had one puzzle the same, and that was the Blue Kazoo moon puzzle. I like the classic piece shapes vs the wonky ones. I loved seeing your collection because I hadn’t seen many of those puzzles. I am not sure if I could pick a favorite from my own collection but I try to get any Bob’s Burgers puzzles when I can.
I also prefer puzzles with lots of colors & variety, so I wish there were more horror themed puzzles with color. I get why most of them are dark, but still, lol. I have a few puzzles in my collection (two are IT/Pennywise ones) that are basically just 3 colors and they are so hard. Sometimes they are more frustrating than fun! 😂
As someone who likes some good instant gratification I'm a big fan of piecework puzzles!! they have a huge range in sizes (from 75 pcs- 1500) their "little things" collection is SO FUN! I do them with a morning coffee. Also their puzzles are just so cool! Another one is a kickstarter I just supported The Great Indoors- their puzzles are carbon neutral and they have playlists to go along with you puzzle.
Colin Thompson is my favorite puzzle maker. They are so detailed and fun. And they're not very expensive. They're under the ravensburger brand so not hard to find.
Ms. I started doing puzzles during the pandemic also.....and Now I can't stop...It's very relaxing and I'm no longer..... fixed on T.V. ...I also have a collection that's getting larger and larger....excellent video
Ooh! Puzzle boards are great. I have been having a thing for puzzles too and it definitely helps with my mental health too. When I am focused, I am not overthinking a lot. My mind and my eyes are focused on finding the next piece. I love Calm's puzzles. Each of their quotes with a photo backdrop is so beautiful
We have the exact same taste in puzzle imagery! Puzzles that are a bunch of smaller pictures with borders are superior!!! So many wishlist ideas from this video 😅
Sarah, I am obsessed with your puzzling. I totally wanna get into it. And I hope that we see more of your puzzle journey, I watched the video a few times lol, your joy of puzzles really shines through the screen. And I had so much fun watching it!✨
I just finished the mystic maze puzzle, I purchased it immediately after watching your video. Thanks for the recommendation I had so much fun putting this one together
You CAN “frame” your moon puzzle. Get a large artist canvas from Michaels (they go on sale frequently), paint black or bluish black and hot glue it to the canvas. A square canvas would probably look best. I select puzzles that make Great Wall art and I’ve done that with a few. Also gets rid of glass glare and you can appreciate the puzzle detail.
This was so fun to watch! I’ve been a big puzzler my entire life and it’s not often I see other people enjoying it as much as I do. Recently I’ve gotten into the 3D Crystal puzzles. Similar to the key ways, with the clear pieces and having to figure out how to the lay pieces on top of each to build the puzzle. They make nice little decor pieces once I finish them as well.
Puzzle collection videos are always fun to watch. Liked this one too. By the way, about the Ravensburger, the rectangle piece are pieces you don't need. It is also written on the leaflet that comes with the puzzle.
This video makes me want to start doing puzzles again. I used to build puzzles so much I loved it and it helps with anxiety and over thinking so much. My favourite ones are the 2000 pieces. I’ve always wanted to complete a 9000 piece but I just can’t find any that I like.
I also really got into puzzles since the pandemic began. These are some great recs! I want to suggest Cavallini & Co puzzles, their vintage National Parks puzzle is my favourite, I think you would like it based on what you said you like!
I was so looking forward to this video. That 'The Thing' puzzle is amazing! I've managed to pick up a number of horror themed puzzles fairly cheap at JB Hi-Fi in Australia since they've had a 50% off sale going on for months.
Omg. A post on this channel?! And its about puzzles! I live in a small apartment and have way too many puzzles and board games. This is right up my alley
One of my favourite youtubers mentioning one of my other favourite youtubers? Yes please. You were obviously SO excited in the video, I loved seeing that. I've done most of the Clemens Habicht gradient puzzles (not the 5,000 piece one yet. That one is sitting on my coffee table, taunting me) and the Ravensburger Krypt puzzles in silver, gold, black and pink. My favourite puzzle that I've done is Cats Playing Hungry Hippos by The Oatmeal, that one has interesting piece shapes that make it a real challenge, as well as the color changing puzzle by Clemens Habicht - yes gradient puzzles are easy but that one? Oh man. Please look it up, I'd love to see what you think. Actually I might tag you in my IG post of it. I'm definitely going to check out some of the puzzles you mentioned, especially those magic ones.
I’m a rebellious student - I checked my phone and RUclips notifications in class and I saw you uploaded. You best believe ima watch right after class! 🥰❤️
I started doing puzzles with the pandemic too. My boyfriend just bought one out of the blue and we had a blast working on it together. I have bought about 8 of them. I don't keep mine though. Once I complete a puzzle I donate it or give it to a friend. There will be a few cases where I will frame a finished puzzle, but I really don't want to store or collect them.
Omg your puzzle collection is awesome. I LOVE doing puzzles. Puzzle Together is such a fun game where you can do huge puzzles (solo or with others) for free on Steam... I discovered it last year and have put 150+ hours into it. I also really enjoy doing Legos now. Lol my boyfriend and I did a Baby Yoda & Mandalorian Lego set together at a boba tea cafe and it was a lot of fun! If you like puzzles maybe you would also enjoy Legos :) Some of the offbrand ones like Stitch or Hello Kitty are soooo cute and I love to display them after I put them together.
it’s so interesting to see the type of puzzles other people enjoy; i actually don’t like straight edges/color blocking puzzles, because i hate that the colours don’t line up with the pieces; like it’s a square and the edges are in half a piece; i usually enjoy either detailed illustrations or real life pictures
Haven't watched yet, but I just got into puzzles within the last month. Galison 500 piece are my favorite. The boxes are a great size and the artwork is so cute!
I also have considered that puzzle board. If I had room for a puzzling area, I would probably invest in a height adjustable for sitting or standing table. That would be perfect.
Love this video! I just ordered the zodiac puzzle, thanks for the recommendation! I’ve really gotten into knitting during the pandemic and it has been helping my mental health, but my mind still wanders while doing that and hearing you talk about the puzzles, I feel like getting into puzzles will help me more like you said using the same part of the brain.
Yes, finally, a puzzle video :) I am also in my 30s, love a good horror and I am obsessed with puzzles. I will definitely be getting some you recommended!
Your puzzle collection and set up and everything is amazing! I love the way you have it all organised and arranged, it looks so pretty. I like doing puzzles. I did a gigantic Disney one over Christmas and into Jan this year. It was hard but so fun to do. That puzzle crunch sure was satisfying!
I have done puzzles all my life. I have a puzzle board similar to yours with the 4 drawers, it also came with a cover it reminds me of a big mouse pad. Which is good because I have 3 cats. 2 of them don't mess with the puzzle but 1 does. So when I'm not puzzling I just put the cover over the board and pieces and it is safe from the cat.
Loved this vid. Have you seen Simone Giertz's puzzle table? I'm currently working on puzzle #38 for 2022 - I'm retired, so that helps a lot! Just pre-ordered Karen Puzzles's Ravensburger puzzle - can't wait for it to get here. My best thrift shop puzzle find ever was finding 4 wood, laser cut puzzles from Liberty for $25 each!!
Loved seeing all of your puzzles. I purchased at least four puzzles while I was watching your video! LOL It's so funny that you didn't prefer The Sunny City of the magic puzzles. That one is my and my son's favorite. We have also done the mystic maze as well. Mystic maze is cool, but there was something about having all the little people in the Sunny City being so similar that made it a more fun challenge for us.
I didn't know how much I missed your videos here but it hit me: I missed your videos so much! Sadly I'm no horror movie fan so your other channel is not for me. But I will definitely follow you on instagram although the horror context. It's also funny how different people are. I get very nervous owning too much and I especially don't like to see my stuff.
You crunch as well as you vlog. Lol. Learned what that was today. I haven’t done a puzzle for a long time but I always loved doing one over Christmas. It was a tradition. PS - I’m getting the spacey one with rockets for sure! Gotta put it off for a year cuz I just got a kitten last November.
Ahhh I’m going to buy so many of these 😍 if you haven’t checked out Liberty Puzzles you should! They’re really pricey but super well made (wooden pieces) and have such uniquely shaped pieces. They’re like that space one you mentioned where the shapes of the pieces match the art of the puzzle!
I love this video! You must hear this a lot, but I feel like you and I are so alike, in your hobbies and especially horror, even down to the types of horror movies! Love your content, lots of love from the UK :) x
im actually so freaked out at this timing...i just finished a puzzle this morning, put it in the official "large, precarious, jenga-like unsteady pile of puzzles", and thought to myself, 'i really need to figure out how to store these...i wonder if there are any ideas on youtube...nah, probably not' and then got this notification???? am i being watched??? hello???....not today satan
*Me, a lifelong puzzle and horror enthusiast, watching this as soon as work is over and I have a nice dinner in front of me* Like seriously, this was great, and I'm so jealous of your puzzle space!
Mondo has some great horror movie puzzles.
@@johnwhitesnake6353 Indeed!
You just described my current set-up rn, except I’m a student lol

🖤🖤🖤
She had another channel! It's really good even if you don't like the theme
i love that you check in with us on this channel every once in a while.
I enjoyed watching how happy you were talking about this! I'm not even into puzzles lol

I have the same puzzle board and I love it.my boyfriend got it for me as a birthday present so I wasn't always stuck doing it at the kitchen table.
this video is so informative and inspiring 🧩🤍
Ohh yayyyy a new video. That's the pick me up I needed during studying for my final exams. Thanks so much ❤
So happy to see this video pop up!!
Yaass! We need a Karen and Sarah puzzle collab two of the best RUclips personalities
🥺🥺🥺
Sarah, I am obsessed with your puzzling. I totally wanna get into it. And I hope that we see more of your puzzle journey, I watched the video a few times lol, your joy of puzzles really shines through the screen. And I had so much fun watching it!✨
So happy to see you and that you are having a good time :)
I did a few puzzles last year and then just got busy and stopped but now I really want to get back into it! Thanks for sharing!!
I just finished the mystic maze puzzle, I purchased it immediately after watching your video. Thanks for the recommendation I had so much fun putting this one together
audio books + puzzles are such a vibe
I have a board like that, on top of a card table and that’s my set up. The board also has a lazy Susan underneath so that it spins, it’s nice.

Sooo many great recommendations here! Watched from start to finish.
If I get into puzzles, I'm certainly going to need dedicated space for it! These are awesome!!!!
Puzzle collection videos are always fun to watch. Liked this one too. By the way, about the Ravensburger, the rectangle piece are pieces you don't need. It is also written on the leaflet that comes with the puzzle.
I realized this after this video 😅
Omg I clicked on this video so fast when I saw the notification! I’m totally going to go by one from Magic Puzzle Company now!
This video makes me want to start doing puzzles again. I used to build puzzles so much I loved it and it helps with anxiety and over thinking so much. My favourite ones are the 2000 pieces. I’ve always wanted to complete a 9000 piece but I just can’t find any that I like.

I've watched this video three times knowing that I don't have time to add yet another hobby, but I am so intrigued!
I love that you love this, I’ve been getting into puzzles recently myself :)
I WAS LITERALLY BINGING YOUR VIDEOS YESTERDAY BC I MISSED YOUR MAIN CHANNEL VIDEOS SM
Just in time for my lunch break 🥰
Sweet collection! Puzzles are fun, and soooo addicting.
girl i had no idea what a puzzle crunch was .. you got me quaking
AHhh YESS I love your horror channel, but I also really miss your main channel videos. I like just seeing you be you, outside of your movie reviews!
Great way to counter all the hunching is to do some puzzling/work lying on your stomach on the floor. Like propped up on elbows. Great video!
I would also recommend eeabo puzzles because of the bright colors and fun designs 💖
LOVE to see you uploading on this channel again! 😍
I love discovering new interests and hobbies for sure going to buy some puzzles ❤️
it’s so interesting to see the type of puzzles other people enjoy; i actually don’t like straight edges/color blocking puzzles, because i hate that the colours don’t line up with the pieces; like it’s a square and the edges are in half a piece; i usually enjoy either detailed illustrations or real life pictures

Haven't watched yet, but I just got into puzzles within the last month. Galison 500 piece are my favorite. The boxes are a great size and the artwork is so cute!
Literally stopped what I was doing!! Yesssss
I also have considered that puzzle board. If I had room for a puzzling area, I would probably invest in a height adjustable for sitting or standing table. That would be perfect.
OMG I am so happy right now💖
now this is the content i’m looking for !!!
So excited about your other channel! Subscribed and about to binge watch 🥰
I have the same puzzle board. I have it on the dining room table and I added two low cardboard boxes beside it and my cats sit and watch.
Putting a foam board overtop the puzzle in progress has stopped my two kittens from destroying everything😂
As a fellow puzzle lover I love this kind of content💗
Haven't done a puzzle in years. But use to love doing them with my nan when I was younger. Typically we would do the WASGIJ brand of puzzles.
Your puzzle collection and set up and everything is amazing! I love the way you have it all organised and arranged, it looks so pretty. I like doing puzzles. I did a gigantic Disney one over Christmas and into Jan this year. It was hard but so fun to do. That puzzle crunch sure was satisfying!

those horror puzzles look so cool!! I may have to get them for myself. I would love to see more puzzle content from you!
Love your puzzle setup. thanks for this video
I like to collect the dowdle puzzles from places I have visited. My husband has started getting me the mini wooden ones too
😍wow, i wish i had collections like this too, dvd, puzzle, storage area….ưuooo👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
This was so fun!!!! Now I need to spend all my money on puzzles
LOL
It's so funny that you didn't prefer The Sunny City of the magic puzzles. That one is my and my son's favorite. We have also done the mystic maze as well. Mystic maze is cool, but there was something about having all the little people in the Sunny City being so similar that made it a more fun challenge for us.
Exactly what I need for a quiet 6.30 am breakfast
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
I got the Mystic Maze on your recommendation. I am having fun with it. Thanks.
i'm so happy you posted a video!! :)
I bought a piece of plexiglass to cover my puzzles in progress
I love this video! You must hear this a lot, but I feel like you and I are so alike, in your hobbies and especially horror, even down to the types of horror movies! Love your content, lots of love from the UK :) x
you have to do the sirius black family puzzle (2000 pieces, if i'm not wrong)! the leafs part is so hard but the rest is sooooo enjoyable
Great collection! ☺️🧩
im actually so freaked out at this timing...i just finished a puzzle this morning, put it in the official "large, precarious, jenga-like unsteady pile of puzzles", and thought to myself, 'i really need to figure out how to store these...i wonder if there are any ideas on youtube...nah, probably not' and then got this notification???? am i being watched??? hello???....not today satan
