The most important thing to know on the 3000 piece puzzle is the image on the box is not the whole image (and it doesn't come with a poster). For more details, I would recommend watching Karen Puzzle's videos. Personally, I did multiple sorts on the pieces. In my first sort, I picked out all the edge pieces and any pieces with pink. Personally, I find a yes/no question easier when sorting by color. Is this piece pink? Yes/No. This allowed the sorting task to be spread among several much shorter sessions. The hardest part of the puzzle for me was when there was a large density of loose pieces on the top (plates, tray, white color). The puzzle pattern is super helpful to identify whether piece was in the right spot. Sometimes, the pattern would help you find the right piece.
Really? 😅 I didn't realise that! Thank you so much for the sorting recommendations! I will definitely use that for when I tackle the puzzle! And also another good tip on telling me that the piece cut helps you knowing which piece is the right one! So useful! 🤩👌🏻
I'm doing that 3000 piece puzzle right now. I didn't enjoy sorting it but it is fun to put together. I have it on a few foamboards cause I don't have enough space on my table. Looking forward to finishing it and putting it all together on the floor When you are sorting it, I would recommend sorting by the colour underneath, not by the pieces on top - if that makes sense
That's so good to know! 🤗 Thank you for all the info about how to tackle the puzzle! I'm sure it'll be very helpful! And yes, I know exactly what you mean by sorting by the colour underneath! 🤩👌🏻
Would love to see a video about the Ravensburger Nature Edition Panoramic Iceland Puzzle you purchased last year. Interested in hearing your comments and reviews about your thoughts on nature landscape puzzles in Panorama format vs regular shape puzzles. Do you think the Nature Edition puzzles are easier as panoramic puzzles?
Oh yes, I was planning to do that one for a video! Maybe soon then, if there's interest in it! 🤩 I never thought of that in all honesty! But they could be a bit easier, as it's quicker to get to the shape of the pieces, because the sections close up quicker 😁
Over 95000 pieces?? You know what I'm going to say... Mix em all, mix em all !! 😂🤪I love how you try to explain that it's actually just one closet of puzzles because the other closet is puzzles to be exchanged. Just admit it Janette, soon there will be a puzzle room in your house! 🤣LOVE that stairs puzzle btw!
HA HA HA!! You crack me up so much!! 😂😂 Not sure if you hate me so much, or you're just extremely hilarious 🤣 Well I need some sort of excuse to explain the use of the second closet 😂🙈 I don't actually have rooms, so there won't be a puzzle room. I might have to take my clothes to the basement to make room for more puzzles though 😂🤪
Okay, I'll admit it.....I'm not a big fan of Educa either. But -- when you showed that 500-piece Dream Bubbles, I paused the video and ordered one of my own, immediately. I love paperweights and just couldn't resist. I completely agree with you about the "Stairs" puzzle by Celmentoni! I love the colors, patterns and shapes -- gorgeous. Hope you do that one in a video -- would love to see that. Thanks so much, Janette. Love your puzzle hauls and honest remarks about the puzzles....always nice to see you.
Hahahahah yes!!! That were exactly my thoughts!! 😂😂 I will definitely do it for the video, because I speed run all my 500 piece puzzles 😉 Thank you so much for your lovely comment! 🥰
I have the stairs puzzle. I loved it. It reminds me of lighthouse steps. The puzzles on puzzles is lots of fun too and very pretty. It's her first puzzle. She just put out number 3. It's not hard but challenging. Have fun! Love your videos!
I’m doing puzzles on puzzles for a 2nd time currently. The first time I sorted by colour and it didn’t work well. I’d recommend sorting out the non puzzle sections and then sorting by the base colour..those “small” puzzle pieces are actually quite sizeable
Nice puzzle haul! You have really a variety of puzzles there I think you will enjoy the "Puzzle over puzzle" since it is very easy and nice to put together. I agree with Shioban that it is better to sort it by the colours on background Also Colorboom - Stairs is a very enjoyable puzzle but slightly trickier than it may seem at the first glance Anyhow great video as always
The Puzzle "looking for the Queen" The cover text is simply translated to "Midnight Cats" and its a relatively new child book series here in Germany :)
Thank you for the recommendation! 😊 At the moment I'm still working on the 5k subscribers special puzzle and it seems a bit too time consuming for me (it is VERY difficult though), but I might try it a bit further down the line 😁
Oh wow... It felt like worlds only just happened and I look on the calender and its just 4 months left... People starting to prepare again :D 5:27 Mitternachtskatzen is "Midnight Cats" as someone else already pointed out in the comments. 10:55 Okay now im really curios - is this puzzle created in collaboration with the same people that are in charge of creation and managing of the Pantone colors??? For people in media design (hi) Pantone always rings a bell, they have those color sets that are good for printing, they have these popular in-real-life paper stripes you can buy from them to see what the printed color will look like before printing it. So seeing that something that I know about from an educated point of view is also doing something in the jigsaw puzzle industry would be insane! I might research that some time later. Would personally love to do/own this puzzle as well. the colors look nice, and the big block of red could be fun as a mini-challenge. 18:15 I would also love to do the Karen Puzzles Puzzle. It looks like a challenge but fun at the same time and I feel like one can solve this puzzle in different ways so it has... "replayability" if thats a good word to use there. ^^
I know!! Just 4 months left! Insane 🤯 Yes, the Midnight Cats have already been pointed out, but thank you anyway! 😊 Ok now you got me curious too! 😂 I genuinely do not know what the story behind the puzzle is, but I think you might be right with your assumptions! They actually have 4 different versions (from what I could find online) and each and every one of them is beautiful! 😍 I think the assembly will be absolutely amazing and I would definitely advise you to get one if you can! 😉 I'll have to agree with you again on the Karen Puzzles Puzzle, because from what I'm reading in the comments, it seems like there are many different ways to sort it, which obviously would lead to different ways of solving it! 😁 I'm really looking forward to doing it! 🤩
The Colorboom staircase puzzle is not that tricky. It was a lot of fun to do. I don't like Educa either. I think the German puzzle maybe says Midnight Cats. I have also got the Hibiscus puzzle in my stash but I am thinking of passing it on and not doing it. It is very nice though, There are more in the series. Looking forward to seeing your new to you puzzles completed.
That makes me wanna do it even more now! 🤩 I heard that the hibiscus one is fairly simple - easier than it looks, so maybe it wouldn't be bad to give it a try. Unless you don't enjoy the image, then I completely understand! 😁 Thank you! 🤗
I saw 4 different versions actually when I googled it - red, purple, blue and green! They all look amazing! 😍 After I assemble the one I have, I might wanna try the rest! It's good to know it was an easy assembly! 🤩👌🏻
Hi Janette! Greetings from Hungary again. Budapest: D I also have an Educa cap. Karen's puzzles are the best, I have all 3. I did this 3000 piece puzzle for 35 hours. I really enjoyed.
Great haul! I also just bought Karen Puzzles 3000 pieces but haven't started it yet :) Right now I'm doing The Beauty and the Beast Dancing from Schmidt and enjoying it.
@@janetteandherpuzzles I love the Disney Collection too! This one is quite dark but surprisingly easy. I’m definitely enjoying it. Hope you’re enjoying your currently puzzle too 🤗
3:05 It's a palindrome! That's the name for something that is the same backwards and forwards, like "mom" or "radar" or "a santa at nasa." The longest one I know of is "go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog!"
I try not to buy new puzzles either. Fortunately, we have a reuse store here that sells puzzles priced from $0.50 to $2 USD. My husband checks very regularly and buys me what he finds. I’m spoiled.
Would love if you gave away some of the Worlds puzzles to a lucky viewer. I would help with shipping. I have never seen a Schmidt puzzle before. Love the Alice puzzle! The mitternachts katzen is based off a children’s book.
I have done some giveaway before but for EU only - the shipping and the customs can be a bit much 😅 I heard that it's difficult to find Schmidt Puzzles in the States, which is very unfortunate as they are a really good brand 😁 I didn't realise it's from a children's book - thank you for that! 😊👌🏻

That red Clementoni has a "sister" called Green Matcha, that I did. It looked hard, but was easy to separate and therefore build

They are nice to assemble - quality wise not in the rank of Schmidt/Ravensburger, but the illustrations are just so beautiful! 😍👌🏻
