Mazda’s aren’t as popular in Japan as you may think. Because of the import tax they’re way too expensive here.

I owned a 2020 mg zs style plus and its been with me for 1 year and 3 months and I dont encounter any problems so far. Already with 28k odo since im using it daily going inter provinces and yet it still runs as good as new. Thanks boss Caco, you're my deciding factor why I chose this car over others..💪

@@januescandallo8436i think parts availability isnt a problem with this car as there are already tens of thousands running on the road. The problem is finding a mechanic who is experienced of repairing this car especially when youre out of the metro.
@@FelmarCaranzo suspension is okay, though a little bit bumpy at the back, but i think that's whats normal in a compact crossover.

At first like anyone else, doubted this brand. But i took the risk. After 6 months of curiosity and research- i did land to have one. MGzs Alpha. So far so good. Feels great and confident.

Considering its a British brand revived by a Chinese company. Reliability amuses me differently in this car
May lag ang acceleration 1st to 2nd gear but its comfy. Its better in highway though.
Aircon is colder than Toyota I think.
Very spacious and relatively luxurious on the inside.
It absorbs bumps thus its comfy generally.

I have seen this car on the street while riding a bus, I was astonished, it was amazing indeed. It feels like a have seen a famous artist😆😆 cant wait to buy this one

Well he didn't talk much about the driving experience. For instance, I rode one and you can feel the humps and bits of rough roads. Aircon is easily overwhelmed by the heat. I suspect it isn't particularly sturdy in the long run. It's under power during overtaking and takes time to speed up from stop positions. Overall, while you save 200-300k compared to its competitors you also have to consider the cost of owning, service, durability and depreciation. This is usually where the regrets comes in for many buyers who simply decide on the looks and price on owning.

Yes depreciation is the main issue here, about the cost of owning/durability they offer 7yr warranty naman and so far sa mga kaibigan kong nakakuha nito, goods naman sya for its price. Still better than ford/GMs tho.
I have mine for 3 years now and aside from the bi-annual PMS and of course insurance, wala naman akong ibang gastos. No issue eversince and happy with the after sales service. I’m from Baguio and happy I chose MGZS since it makes it easy for me to drive around given up/downhill mostly ang Baguio. I’ve drove it several times sa Manila, Ilocos and Batangas. Overall, I’m very happy and satisfied.

And here I was just looking at Toyota, Suzuki, and Ford. Just saw the price for these MG cars and I had to do a double take because I could not believe how much less they are compared to the competition.

@@raymarobedoza3461 They engineer them, but they usually make them in China. Also from what I understand MG quality control is based in the UK, so all MG cars get the nod from the Europeans.

It's a fun little crossover to drive, loving it everytime i drive it.
I have yet to decide on whether to buy a Toyota Rush or this one? Do you recommend this one instead of the Toyota Rush? Is it really a good buy?

I just finished test driving this yesterday. The MG zs Alpha. Cruise control is OK. Seat adjustment is superb coz Im just a 5ft flat person. Ac is supercold, surround sound HD, has the standard plus manual gear +/-, and added bonus is the sunroof. Not bad for leass than 1M price range the top of the line.
Its a game changer. Hope other companies will too like india car makers.

One of the people i know owns one of these as i drove it.. the only diffrance is it has a turbo engine.. othere than that its just exactly how he described it.
I am an MG ZS Style owner since 2020. I guess everyone has their own experiences with the ZS, with mine, been using it for almost 5 years never had a problem with it, to think i only had one PMS since then. It still does its job. 👏❤️😍

114 hp and a 4 speed tranny? How is it enough power? A multicab with 5 speed manual tranny is more enjoyable than this. Hehe
Basag Productions Have you driven one? I mean have you ever driven an MG ZS? I do... i have also driven several suzuki multicabs as you mentioned as we operate several units as passeger jeepneys in the city way back then... 3 cylinders engine with a small 5 speed tranny? Come on...
BTW bigger hp doesn't always mean a better drive. If you listen closely to sir caco's review, he is on automatic mode.. what i am referring is driving it in sportmatic mode.. Remember the old and reliable Kia Pride with the 1.1 or 1.3 engine? Yet we race them on autocross before at times defeating cars with bigger hps like the hondas, toyotas and mitsu's.
It all boils down on the driver po.. like you said, maybe you are happy with your Suzuki multicab so congrats and no one will argue with it...😁

Julia Duke Hi Julia I shared the same concern as you had before. When it was first launched here before, then by the Laica Group of Companies, I was apprehensive of the after sales support. I.e. Normal consumables such as oil and fuel filters, air cleaners, etc. But was surprised that these parts were already available in stores in Banawe. Now that it is being sold by the Covenant Car Co. group, the same group as Chevy, etc. after sales service and parts are no longer a problem.

@@thecardinal8923 been using it since feb. Got the mg zs style at, got it in blue. Performance is great, comfort is okay.. it gets the job done. Still gets me excited whenever i drive it. Just dont compare it to highend brands but its still better than my mirage. 💪✌👌

Hi sir! Is it true that this does not come with engine guard? They say its part of the "accessories". And i wasnt able to hear, are the mirrors retractable?

Im planning to buy one, i know its gamble specially its china made, may iilan lang na good reviews sa youtube. alam din naten na maraming substandard na produkto sila, pero kung iisipin mo lahat naman nagsimula from scartch. Plus, kahit naman made in PH yan magdududa pa din ang iba. Its not about being “china made”, its about trust. Normal lang pagdudahan kase bago pa. Ang honda, toyota ,hyundai etc gnyan din sila nung nagsisimula.
And btw check nyo iPhone nyo made in china din yan for sure haha.

You have a point. But I think "Mobile Phone" is far away comparable with "cars".
Phone = can easily be replaced. Phones are now only for short term use. 2-3 years lifespan. No harm if broken, if there is, very rare.
Car = Not that easily replaceable. Can be a life threatening if something malfunctions.
and btw, as an Iphone user, it's very obvious that Iphone's quality is now decreasing. battery, headset etc.

in uk it has a six speed automatic and you can get the 1.5 liter petrol engine but most people buy the more powerful 1.0 turbocharged petrol engine

Little history, Morris Garages is a British car company, owned by SAIC (China), MG was established on 1924 known for making sportscars, and been introduced again around 2000s as a mass producing company, despite being around for quite some time, reliability is still a question mark since it has not been recognized by Consumer Reports. To be fair MG Rover is proven to be worst in reliability but it is the MG Motors were talking about.
I've talked to some dealers that the parts are not "borrowed" to some mainstream car brand but rather are OEM SAIC parts, SAIC reliability is questionable because of lack of reports, you can consider this car because of the looks and features for half a price of its contender, but if youre thinking of long term reliability, just wait for 2 more years, its enough to be proved as a good car, but that 5yr/100k km warranty is quite tempting, you own the money, you can decide on what to own :)
