Hot Toys Batman 1989: Worth the Upgrade from DX09?

- Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel for a reaction to the new Batman 1989 released from Hot Toys. What I decided to do is give a quick reaction and breakout my DX09 and so a feature comparisons from what I've noticed and figure out if this is worth upgrading if you have the DX09?

He’s my Batman as well. Watched Keaton on a talk show the other day, and the host asked how He felt about returning as the Dark Knight and Keaton said …..”it’s like riding a bike…..I am Batman!” He just loves being the Character ❤

I’ve had the dx09 for a while too. It’ll be my museum standing pose next to this new one. Hopefully it poses well, and not cause permanent creasing or damage to the new suit. I’ve also had the batmobile 1.0 for a while too… it’s a great piece but a tad on the stumpy side and a bit short. Im upgrading to the jazzinc.
Good video to explain some differences. I ended up poing the deluxe.
I missed out on the original DX09. So I'm going to try to get this one. Especially to pose along side the Jazzinc 89 Batmobile.

@mr.momcollectibles Absolutely. Grew up with 89 Batman for me 89 is definitive Batman. I would definitely get the hot toys as well if I could. Can't wait for the hot toys 89 computer though. Definitely getting that too. Missed out on the bat signal and bat wing from Jazzinc unfortunately.

I'm so glad you did a deep dive on this figure I wish you would've talk more about the the per- eye system I hated that compartment on the back of his cowl. Do you know if the new one has the pers-eye system on the back of his cowl or not I heard that it's not every new picture I see of this figure there never showing the figure from all angles . On a side note I enjoy watching you on the HOT TOYS hotline channel.
Thank you so much for the comments yeah, looking back I could’ve highlighted the per system a little more. On the new figure, it’s a solid Cowell, and you actually take the head off and go inside the Cal from underneath to adjust the eyes so this allows for seamless head sculpt as opposed to the old one which has that plate on the back of the head. And I really appreciate your support. Thank you so much.

@@austincrafton178 I think it’s a great 2.0 it’s not an overall of the old where it kind of forces you to upgrade but they a bunch of nice small upgrade that gives the figure a good upgrade. Originally I never though the DX09 really needed anything but hot toys always like to surprise us haha.

Great analysis. I'm tempted since I dont have the DX09. Do you think it's worth getting the deluxe ver. with the gargoyle statue?
In this case I think the deluxe with the base is work with it 100% but I’m all in on anything Keaton Batman myself however I made a video about standard vs deluxe and if it’s worth it and in this case I think it is.

Jaxon Ju but to be honest his wait times are unrealistic to me. I get my capes from another source that’s faster and equal if not better quality, reach out to Bill Chaki on Facebook he sells regularly on the BTS groups and started a cape company. Pursued multiple things from him super reliable. I posted a video for a Batman Begins drape cape of his check it out one of the velvet ones you can find.
