This is a custom bumper I fabricated for a Toyota Tacoma. The idea behind this was for a simple design which would allow for increased ground clearance in the rear. Mission achieved.
Great vid. A good mix of design, metal skills, editing, and patience. I bet most people don't realize that welding is a fraction of the total time taken to get to this completed project and video.
That is so true. I’ve had friends who didn’t realize that I start with just plain steel stock and then cut and make all the parts. They thought it was some kit purchased to be assembled or something. As much as I love welding, it probably only makes up about 20% of the time on a project like this. And filming is a whole nother ball game. Certainly slows down production time haha. Thanks for the comment!

Dope. If you can swing it i also say you should get a set up for your cam when welding. You could always make something!
Your camera needs a welding hood! 🤣
