Those all are awesome products, considering their prices and user experience they offer. I agree that it's a little hard to compare these products. But considering the price of each of them the Akaso Brave 7Le is a good choice for the beginner, who are trying to get all those action shots for their instagram or other albums. While, Gopro and Dji are the photography and videography leaders with alot of products researched and developed. I appreciate the way you try to explain all the features and getting the viewer to make the best buying decision for themselves. I am great fan of you reviews and vlogs.
For $140, I'd say it's a great buy as it's stacked up very well against 2 of the best action cameras which cost twice as much. Well done Akaso ! Another great video Ben !
That looks like a great value camera. I like how it comes with everything you need. With the gopro you end up spending at least $100 to get the same amount of accessories
Not too bad for their first go around. Imagine what their next version will be like. Companies like Vizio and TCL were very budget friendly when they started out. Now they have budget and higher end products.
As a beginner I like to have this one. Whenever I want to see any comparison or new product arrival, I just scroll to your channel. For authentic information big thumbs up. Love and regards from India.
The Akaso seems like a sweet deal for the price, I could definitely think of uses for one. I really like your comparisons I think you are the only RUclipsr doing such things 👍
Been noticing Akaso for a while but spent some time searching on RUclips for an exact comparison like this video that compares between GoPro Hero 8, DJI Osmo Action and the Akaso Brave 7 Le but can't find. Thanks for doing this comparison video, really appreciate it!
Few days ago I was googling for inexpensive action camera, and somehow RUclips recommended me your channel today. Watched this video and I instantly become your Subscriber after that! I just scrolled through your other videos and my God, you have lots of quality videos! How do I miss this channel? Way to go Ben! Hopefully you get at least 1 million subscribers this year!
The Akaso camera does have some really nice features for a low cost camera but as usual, you get more features and better quality when you spend more money. It is nice though to see that both the Osmo and the Gopro have dropped in price so it is great to have competition. Great job as always Ben. Thanks for showing us alternatives because the Akaso could end up being "the camera" for some on a tight budget.
Nice entry level action camera for the money. It would make a great Christmas gift for an aspiring teenaged photographer/videographer. All the included accessories makes it a bargain.
I love that there are other companies that tries to provide an alternative to those who don't have much to spend. And competition is better for us the consumers. Thank you for providing such reviews for the well known and not so well known brands. Keep it 👆
So for image stabilization, the Osmo Action/Hero 8 are in a different class than the Akaso. That said, for stills and stationary video it's relatively close. Also, the Akaso is currently 118 at Amazon. Tough call for sure!
Either way, for an initial offering it's not bad. While much can be fixed via future software updates it's still nice to have a low price competitor to keep the big boy manufacturers in check. Thanks for the video!!
Been using mine for months now. No option to start record when turning the camera on, a deal-breaker for motovlogging. Impossible to tell if you are recording in sunlight. You have to stop and cup your hands around the camera while staring at the mirror. It does have good video quality and a simple to plug in a cheap external mic for good audio. Mine has now developed a violent shaking of the video recording at times, destroying the recording. Mine will go in the trash.
I reviewed/giveaway this guy the other day, pretty much the same findings. Love that tripod mount. I also notice IS is only supported in certain modes/resolutions, and when you go back to 'normal' mode you have to manually turn IS mode back on and reset the res to the last mode you were shooting in before you went to slo-mo. Otherwise a tremendous value. Great review by the way!
Huge fan man love your videos i can't believe i got the priviledge of working in your home installing GF keep the great work.... I got me a akaso ek7000 but returning it saving little more money to get the 7 LE thanks for your comparisons
Great Video, I love these video's when you compare inexpensive devices to the higher end stuff.. Some of us can't afford the best, but we like to get the best bang for our buck.. Thank you :)
Thanks for the review! I am a gopro guy! I bought the osmo action and ended up just doing a giveaway with it on my channel. I wasn't a fan. The Akaso is tempting but I think I'm going gopro 9 now!! Thanks again!
Im impressed of your reviews, very clear and informative. I wished i can have one of them😍. Looking forward more of your reviews. Watching from Portugal.
Great video as always. I had a Akaso camera several years ago and I wan't impressed. However, it is always nice to see a budget action camera maker mature with their products.
Oh well, I’m only 2years late. Good review! I’m interested in the Akaso 8 now, it seems like a good deal and now has the ability for external audio which I really like.
I think I'm going to go with the akaso for a starter vlogging camera. I was considering the osmo, but the colors look better on the akaso. And I like the front screen on it slightly better. Also love the accessories.
Dude you do great detailed videos !!! .....you get nit picky about functions and specs and that's what most people want to know......keep up the great work !
348/5000 I just started looking for my first camera to record underwater hunting videos. As you mentioned in previous videos, the first thing Amazon offered me is this AKASO EK7000 camera! Your review made everything clear to me! All the differences are obvious and a better overview to help me make a choice as a beginner, I can't even imagine. THX!
Another great video Ben - I doubt I shall ever buy any of the gadgets you compare so well ...but the quality of your videos is so good I seem to keep watching!!
Great comparison video - Was JUST in the market for my first and your video helped with my decision the GoPro seems the best for overall especially for action video
8/10/2020 and it's back up to $140 on Amazon. Decent little camera for someone on a tight budget. I do like that it takes much sharper stills than the Gopro.
Just ordered the Akaso LE for my first action cam. I only intend on using it for fishing. I'll see how far it takes me. Lol thanks for your comparison videos. Keep it up
I always watch your video and specially comparison of action camera. By seeing these videos I can say there is no comparison with GorPro8. In every field GoPro8 has won whether it is stability, wide angle, low light, slow motion, sharpness, detailing in words and clarity
I just ordered one akaso brave 7 le this morning then I saw your video in the afternoon. If I saw it first I might change my mind. Let's see if I'm gonna like it and keep it or finally return it. Thanks for your video!
Well, it's like always: you can get a good product for half the price but if you care about usability and user experience then it's something you need to invest in, as well. Nice Video that shows where the higher price tag comes from!
Getting ready to purchase one of these. I’m setting up for a scale RC U Tube video ch. I hope this works for me! Thanks for the info in helping me figure out what’s needed👍
GoPro has been challenged by so many other action cameras over the years. Nothing comes close to knock GoPro off from being the golden standard of action camera. I am very happy to see other action cameras on the market that compete against GoPro, which push GoPro to improve their products. I do love GoPro. However, the price is a little out of my budget and I love to see more action cameras coming out for a cheaper price. BTW, love your review and keep up the good work.
I think as a secondary camera (for additional angles/footage) or as a camera for a budget conscious beginner it’s a good camera. The photos it takes seem to be pretty good too.
Brave 7 LE at $140 is pretty nice, but at $118 currently (lightning deal for a few more hours) it's an even better deal, and likely worth the extra $20 more over the V50X especially without needing a waterproof cover.
It was your osmo action and gopro comparison video that convinced me to by osmo action camera and i am really happy.!! Thanks for all the comparative tests you did.!
Hey Ben, we're still anticipating your thoughts on the tech which drives the new Vivo X50 Pro, and how it compares to actual gimbals... Thanks alot, much love from the UK.🇬🇧
Not bad at all for $140, but couldn't help noticing when you were walking round the fountain at the beginning with the Akaso and Hero 8, that the floor was all grey on the Akaso but showed up as yellow and brown/red on the Hero, which was weird. Especially seeing as the grass looked over saturated in some of the Akaso shots. So no saturation on the floor and a tad over saturated on the grass. Anyway, interesting product for the money, and great to see how much tech you can get now for little money.
Thanks for the comparison between those cameras. Akaso Brave 7 LE its not bad for a camera of that price. I have the OA but the Akaso can help me as a 2do action camera. Hope in the future can adapt an external mic.
Didn't feel like spending $250 - $300 while I usually use my action cams on top of RC bashers that wreck frequently. Acquired mine for $100. Amazon's lightning deal on Tuesday. Kind of a no brainer for me. My last AKASO, the V50 Pro, lasted over two years of extreme abuse.
Excellent review. Akaso brave le & Victure ac 940. But it says waterproof without case also bare metal finishings but wrong advertising. But I'm very happy with akaso v50x. Thank you.
It’s really cool that you test things like this so other people don’t have to. Great video too!
I lost my camera in the sea and I cant find it
If Akaso continue to improve at their current rate they may actually create a serious contender to gopro within a few years.
I agree just purchased a brave7 and the thing is amazing
@@Matthewmelosso does it come with a head band?
@10102 gaming no unfortunately it doesn't I was hoping it did but no
It's nice that it also got a front screen. Not a bad choice if budget is limited. But it seems the stabilization is a bit off.
Those all are awesome products, considering their prices and user experience they offer. I agree that it's a little hard to compare these products. The Akaso seems like a sweet deal for the price, I could definitely think of uses for one. I really like your comparisons I think you are the only RUclipsr doing such things 👍
It's awesome the Akaso brave 7le can support an external microphone
Loving these videos where you try out budget solutions 😉
Been noticing Akaso for a while but spent some time searching on RUclips for an exact comparison like this video that compares between GoPro Hero 8, DJI Osmo Action and the Akaso Brave 7 Le but can't find. Thanks for doing this comparison video, really appreciate it!
Woot woot! Just ordered me an Akaso Brave 7 Le. Amazing deal. Note: it doesn't support external mic.
Audio is still good without ext mic?
@@karljuan8908 I returned the Brave 7 Le to get the Brave 6 Plus + mic. Brave 7 Le's stabilization is horrible for the price.

The Ville looks pretty good on all three for their respective price points! Thanks for always bringing a succinct insight!
The Akaso seems like a nice balance of features for the price. I could live with the stabilization. Stab is getting to be do or die...
Thanks for getting these less expensive products reviewed!
Glad you like them!

Heyyy thankyou so much for uploading this! Is just what I needed!
I think the photo quality is better in akaso than osmo & gopro..but gopro is the best cam for videos
Pretty good for a little more than half the OSMO Action.
For sure! Of course it's not perfect, and there's plenty of shortcomings, but there's a lot of people who need a "fine" budget option
Mic options?
@@predatoryfishkeeping pretty sure you can't use an external mic with the akaso

The footage is much more stable on the GoPro and Osmo Action. Osmo Action would be a better alternative of GoPro with cheaper price.
