Nice to see Tha Liks getting some love. Definitely one of the most underrated groups of the 90s. I first heard them on the Mad Kap album Look Ma Dukes No Hands. (Probably more so underrated than tha liks)
I remember meeting Murs when Living Legends opened for Hiero on their Third Eye Vision tour when it came to Cleveland. Grouch kept trying to sell me & my roommate his tape & didn’t believe us that we already had it. My roommate had gotten it and Murs’ “F’Real” from J-Rocc. We were prolly the only ppl at that show who knew their stuff. Murs was super cool. “For The Record” is still my fave joint from him.
