It's interesting when you listen to the deeper underground cuts from back in the day, instead of everyone bragging about money because they're a billboard tv artist or just trying to project, they're all talking about the pressures of being impoverished.. I can relate to this so much more. My wife and I talk all the time about how tired we are about dealing with with poor people problems.. we can eat but having the money to fix the car let alone have one that isn't breaking all the time, to fix the house or afford one that isn't broken, to go anywhere besides the area we're in, etc. Respect for the real!

The mainstream kills everything, it happened to metal and rock too, there have still always been good metal bands the problem is when they sell out, or are trying to get famous by doing mainstream type sh*t. Same with rap and hip hop. They know the mainstream wants to promote garbage so they make garbage music. Those of us who know good music just f**k with the good sh*t but it does suck to see these younger generations be completely surrounded by sh*t and then they think that's "good music" and won't even "waste their time" trying some real sh*t because they think its wack as soon as they hear it and it doesn't have some dumb but catchy beat and mumbling or demonic sh*t going on.. it is sad to see.
