  • Chorus Pedals create a copy of the guitar signal, modulate it, and mix it back in with the original unaffected sound-Chorus Pedals make the guitar sound like more than one guitar. Vibrato Pedals only modulate the original sound-Vibrato Pedals sound like one guitar that’s wavering in and out of tune.

    I've found that overdrive/distortion pedals don't really like running into chorus but work much better with chorus before them. Same thing with vibrato. It's weird how it's common for people to put chorus AFTER dirt instead of before. I'm the same way with phasers.
