Yes more and more it seems that potatoes are not the best option, but they are loved by the boys and I’m not gonna take that away from them!😂😂😂
I enjoy growing potatoes.
Ive been eating low carb stake, eggs, canned tuna, sardines, smoked oysters, chicken, peanut butter, cottage cheese, avocado and lettuce. Drinking pineapple juice,protein shakes while taking Bromelain, B1, 2000 mg vitamin C and a multivitamin that has magnesium and man I feel great! I was constantly eating sugary food , chips, bread.
They say if you train in Heart Rate Zone 2 that it'll activate your body to burn fat. Turns your gas burner in to a diesel motor, like 50% of the calories you'll burn will be fat. I can now go ALL DAY without food cravings. My moods are much more stable because im not sugar crashing. I eat because i know my body needs the protein and i need to spread it out over time.

We have a small pond on our homestead and I use the pond weeds in the garden along with the chicken house bedding. Then mulch with grass clippings. Just dug up our garlic this week... our best crop ever. Thanks again 👍 Ken

I think that fish fertilizer is going to be a plus I never did real well with potatoes always had ants getting in them with wet ground you ain't going to have to worry about that too much ✌️😎🐝

Morning. I was wondering during the fish catching and cleaning videos if you were going to bury the guts next to your corn rows like you did last year. Never dreamed or thought you’d make a liquid fish emulsion type fertilizer out of them. Nothing I’d be interested in trying, but Interesting to say the least. Personally I’m a manure tea connoisseur myself. BUT Im going to try adding sugar to my manure tea. Sugar is an awesome fertilizer that the soil microbes love I hear. So, it only makes sense to me. And yes my grandfather would plow potatoes in. But he did it in already worked ground. The three bottom plow served as a row spacer and furrow maker without having to lay off the rows. Unlike you, I drove and he dropped the potatoes. He said , I moved too slow. 😂😂😂

We planted potatoes like that at my grandpa's farm, and it worked very well. It was very wet in sd. I also had a hard time just getting my garden tilled since it was so wet

Brother Micah it’s Jeff from Lebanon PA. I’m an Irishman so I love my meat potatoes but don’t you miss fried taters with onions I don’t like bell pepper but maybe you would put bell pepper in a crack eggs over them to me. That was the best meal yeah you got a stick on that diet because once you’re off, you’re just going to get it back, that way, all diets are I wish you luck, brother and God be with you and your family
I only really miss mashed potatoes with my steak…….. but I feel so much better!!!

If you caught several of the silver or big head carp you could do 50 gl barrels Of fish emulsion, at 10 to 1 dilution that would go a long way. Just run up a down the river in your boat, they tent to valenteer themselves by filling the the bottom of your boat, just wear a football, or crash helmet before you get started.😜👍

Boy deer will tear a potato up here. We can’t grow anything at all without some sort of protection from the deer. I’ve never seen it but a neighbor claimed they ate all their vines then dug them out of the ground and ate the potatoes haha
Oh my goodness! That’s a sign that they don’t have any other food sources that are better than potatoes……. Which is pretty sad! Must be the desert!!!

Micah, I can see Carnivore Diet is working for you. I continue my mostly Carnivore very low carb diet. Has enabled me to lose a good bit of weight. I am now within 13 pounds of my 'Fighting Weight' of 50 years ago as a young adult. I am studying your greenhouse. To you and yours Best
