Makoto becoming some being that can freely travel between worlds was not on my bingo card 🤯 See my full uncut live reactions to the episodes over on Patreon www.patreon.com/BrandonReviews
They cut out very important dialog between luto and Tomoe ... 1. Like when Luto talked about his depression as a woman when his partner died from old age and he gave up on everything. 2. Whilst Tomoe is depressed that Makoto will die in the future; Luto explains that greater dragons can't have kids with any race due to their nature BUT they can with humans (otherworlders like Makoto) so Luto was advising Tomoe she can have a kid to hold her over after he passes. 3. Tomoe thinks Luto is talking non-sense but Luto explains that when he was a woman; he had a child with his partner before passing; so he is living proof that what he says is true. 4. The missing context between Tomoe and Mio conversation about Mio stopping her is because Tomoe says that if Makoto dies she might go crazy due to grief, or she might do something crazy to him against his will just to keep him alive. Mio already picked up on that and says if she does anything to Makoto that he doesn't wish for or would grieve over; she would stop her. Honestly it wasn't even that long of a conversation especially since they skipped the ending; I find it strange they cut that out.
The idea of an Adventurerer's Guild existing primarily to incentivize hot blooded glory hounds into getting themselves killed was some top tier dark humor.
I feel we get the glimpse of Tomoe personality too. Like, there's a hint that powerful Dragons are immortal via reborn from Root casual remark to Lime, so of course for them Makoto's lifespan is too short. Meaning Tomoe love is crazy enough to think of making him never dies, and our boy Makoto still think of her and Mio as "family" 😅😅
Poor Shiki, he was ready to go wild for Makoto but Lime washed it all away by being safe. I did feel bad for Lime later on when Makoto and Tomoe told him to go into the subspace whilst they deal with Luto but it's very much understandable after Tomoe reveals who he is. It's nice to learn some more about Makoto's parents, it looks like his reunion with them is looking more realistic. I'm curious to see what they look like in this world if they're an aristocrat and priest.
if the highest level is in 16bit and set then the level 1 that Makoto is showing must just be the overflow value the system does since it cant actually display his level
Cool inference. You are quite perceptive. We have already seen that his Mana is Goddess class so it is quite obvious that the system is overwhelmed while registering the values.
The School Arc is important to developing Makoto and Shiki's character. It is the place the two of them will interact the most. It also gives Makoto another connection to the Hyuman world. You could argue that his store in Tsigi is enough, but honestly dealing with just adventurers and merchants should leave a very negative view of Hyumanity. Academy City is the place where Makoto becomes invested in Hyumanity, at least enough to not just abandon them. Makoto gets more incentive to become a god. He wants his revenge on the Goddess. Just one good punch. To get that he needs to become a god anyways. He has the mana, he has a borrowed divine power. The tools are there, he needs to discover the path to becoming a god.
Let’s not forget what the 16bit level cap implies, Makoto is at least above level 65535 since the card can’t compute above that. If you try, it will either say ERROR or get stuck on 1.
Luto really tried to make themselves an option for Makoto in front of Tomoe and Mio, but per usual, Makoto backs away. Makoto learns a bit more about his parents before they jumped worlds.
Seeing the reaction to peoples introduction to of root/ luto is always a joy i remember reading this in the web novel, those that want action you’re gonna get it pretty soon they dropped a major hint as to what it will be, the end for this season is going to top season one if it ends were I hope
Previous version of Luto ? Would 😎 Also I could imagine Makoto rebuilding that kingdom and repopulate it using the demiplane citizens. Maybe in the end, he goes to get his parents so they could have their wedding.
Technically Makoto is already traversing between worlds, this world and the demi-plane. This is a crazy speculation. What if the demi-plane is slowly turning into Earth? It is still growing if I am not mistaken.
Luto is one of hell perverted character, but that why he is interesting! Mio and Tomoe are ready to beat up anyone who threat Makoto's virginity 🤣 Those big reveals blew my mind away 🤯 I only read one Isekai where they talk about different time flow with each works ⌚ And ironically it will aired next season 😂 I wonder if Makoto will become a being who is able to freely travel to between worlds? If that happens perhaps than his lifespan would became almost unlimited 🤔 In that way Tomoe wouldn't lose him because of aging 😌 J.C. Staffs cooked so well 🙏🏻
Something you may be confused about in this episode is how lime got out without taking any one down the anime skipped over this But manga novel skipped content below Lime killed everyone in the building he was held in they called him a murder and he didn't mind at all slaughtering everyone except the woman who was held captive with him
chapters 87 and 88 of the manga, but previous eps have been scrambled to cover later chapters too. the myriad colours dragon is more unhinged in the manga
Mind you, even gods struggle to transport people from one world to another. Otherwise Goddess could just summon a 1000 Heroes instead of just 3, one of which was predetermined to be summoned (which may mean she didn't have to use any power to summon Makoto and can only transport 2 people to another world at a time). This would mean Makoto would have to be at least several times as powerful as a Goddess.
I just found this channel and was curious about any comments related to level 1. I’ve also read the light novels which don’t contain the answer. I still think the answer is a glitch in the system related to how the goddess tossed Makoto into the world without properly integrating him into it. Unless the answer is found in the web novel, I like my theory.
What is interesting to me at this point is how not only mio and tomoe resembling Makoto's sister but alst Rembrandt's daughters. The older is lady like and elegant and the younger is a tomboy. I want to see sif and yuno join the family.
they have skipped quite a few things in the anime. its all over the place. for example when the heroine was training with toa's group on the waste land. the goddes showed and gave anothe blessing to her. with a new armor. makoto also noticed he talked to lime late and dismissed it as him learning demihuman tongie. after their first training session the rembrant sisters had an argument with the female student whom has a crush with shiki. and they reveal the want to be makoto's first and second wife out of gratitude and devotion for him curing them from the curse. before they finish their conversation, root offered makoto a different membership on the guild and research why makoto cant raise his level. to show his good will to makoto.
I feel like we'll meet the other dragons before the series ends. Also I feel like MC has the capability to live over 100 years now that he is in this world. You'd think there would be magic or smt that could extend his life right?
@@TheThomasxdlol yeah, with magic it’s possible to extend the life span of a human from another world and make it live 200 years. And I think the manga depicted tomoe emotions way better than the anime, unfortunately the manga/novel has so much details and dialogue that it’s impossible to make everything go into a episode. But yeah, even Root mentioned the feeling of when her first husband died. For greater dragons that can reincarnate indefinitely, lifespan isn’t a issue though they lose their memories (I don’t remember if it’s only some or all of them. All I remember is that root can maintain its memories even after reincarnating)
@@AuruniTV but also, if I’m not mistaken, Makoto is able to become immortal to time. Meaning he won’t age or die by old age, this is from the novel but I’m not 100% sure of the info.
Luto openly wooing Makoto was amusing to see, after learning he was a woman before, I'm surprised his speech isn't that feminine. There is a noticeable touch of it but not enough that I would have questioned it. I am intrigued by how much Luto knows about Makoto, has he been watching over him? I wonder how he knows about all this. I am interested to see how Makoto unlocks this third option of being able to traverse worlds, I'm sure he'll eventually be able to, he seems to be yearning home more and more.
Makoto can comeback but it might be during earth still barely livable planet. I think that's why he need to able to back and forth to determine the exact coordinate.
😅 Caught us red handed……. I actually think that luto being able to basically shift forms is very interesting. Though I definitely think that he would look good in one in both forms
I'm up to date with the published LN volumes, and even as of the latest volume Luto himself doesn't know why Makoto is stuck at level 1. So if the explanation is in the WN, it would be even further past that, way out of reach of what the anime will cover this season.

So happy moonlit fantasy getting an official English translation but digital only for the moment
By which publisher?
@@notceajae it new called hanashi they also publish the fruit of evolution, another world survival and a few others all digital no print at the moment
Makoto's butt was in severe danger. Of course he will help in eliminating it from existence.
Pushing the plot forward while sprinkling a little bit of unexpected bromance 😆

My favorite part was when Makoto covered Mio with a blanket. You can see that he actually cares about his girls.
He is a recurring pain a$$ in the that generally generates interesting plot lines...so far

Not in Kirito's voice, man that really threw me off a bit 🤣
Wait...what does this time discrepancy mean for his search for info on his parents (they could have been from ages ago or not even born yet😮)
It's a good question...
Option A: Go back home to his family and old life.
Option B: Stay, continue building a new life.
Option C: Become god, do both.
Makoto can comeback but it might be during earth still barely livable planet. I think that's why he need to able to back and forth to determine the exact coordinate.
this info dump was a nice twist. Mio is still best girl, i'll die on that hill
I had hoped for a fight, but eh, ill take this too
I mean, people love femboys don't they, Luto just needs to wear a mid dress and that should be enough for most anime fans (or an Astolfo cosplay). XD
😅 Caught us red handed……. I actually think that luto being able to basically shift forms is very interesting. Though I definitely think that he would look good in one in both forms
Can you review "The Apothecary Diaries" please !
I'm assuming you're an anime only watcher. So I'm not gonna say anything spoiler-y. But yes, this school arc is definitely gonna pay off in the end.
Wait.... we going ivy the next season with this? No breaks? This is both the saddest and one of the best anime years lately. Rip to the Goat Toriyama.
yeah it's a 2 cour so carries into next season
They completely cut the part out about his ranking and and why is level one staying at lv one.
That happens a little later
I'm up to date with the published LN volumes, and even as of the latest volume Luto himself doesn't know why Makoto is stuck at level 1.
So if the explanation is in the WN, it would be even further past that, way out of reach of what the anime will cover this season.
Dude ninja kamui! 😅
yeh .spoilers alert⚠️ it a previous gate god which allows that
