    A hero doesn't need a villian, a hero just needs bad circumstances that they can help. Like a food shortage being a farmer solving the issue would be a hero. but if you mean a super hero that can only fight, then yeah if there's not someone that need fought.

      Look at Shield hero... Bow hero goes and overthrows a kingdom claiming the king to be unjust then leaves... whats left is a power vacuum filled by more corrupt nobles ending in starving refugees. Shield hero find out whats going on but doesn't help over throw the new king, doesn't come up with some grand plan, nope. He just feeds the survivors, protect them and gives them someplace safe to live.
      There are tons of stories where... Summoned heroes are on the wrong side... and dont care because they were chosen. Good lord... So i'm a spider so what... a demon lord, vampire and her servent, a monster spider, and an ogre go off to save the world, because they are the only ones that can... while the hero tries to stop them and protect the villian. who's actions will cause the entire world to die in a few years.

    I like this show and season 2 was great so far. The hero recap was a bit grating, but mainly for the male hero and his harem. I hate that guy. But the princess is also manipulating him on her end, so there is that. The girl was a bit arrogant at first, but she is the only real traditional hero in a sense. She has a group of fighters and does her best to get stronger. And she actually was brave enough to fight that demon general. While during the end of season 1 our main protag also fought the demons, though he only showed off his power because they wouldn't stop bothering him. The main protag didn't want to fight and now he is a teacher. I really like how he is getting into the role and has at least a few students who think he is cool. And one of them can even understand his language. I can not wait for those students to become so powerful that they can beat the summoned heroes. Thet training form hell will be fun. I think. I believe episode 6 is that one manga chapter I read once. I think the anime will overtake the manga this year. A certain character form the recent manga chapters was shown in the opening. I hope you get that LN released so you can read it one day. I am excited to see where the story goes form here.

      Well he was basically bullied, and as a result, desired power. And was then thrown into what to him was essentially a video game where he could play out the power fantasy he always wanted. And his evil eye essentially takes away people’s free will, thus, they become NPC’s to him. The Goddess targeted him because he was vulnerable and easily manipulated. Then he winded up with a manipulative princess too. He was set up for failure. He was literally given the title of hero, he never earned it. So it all went to his head. But him being somewhat manipulated into being a bit of a turd doesn’t excuse his behaviour. He is still fully aware of his own actions and ultimately to blame for the decisions he made. So I feel kinda bad for him, but not much

    As far as the manga is concerned, we have seen all the "Heroes" events, save for one event with Hibiki's trauma, and her helping Mio how to cook, which in the manga the inn girl is still deeply involved with.
    I read these notes on the "Heroes" in the wiki:
    Apparently the Male "Hero" has a tendency to Victim Blame, at least in the L/WN. A bloated ego from the powers granted to him through the Goddess' many blessings, and disregard to other people, growing to view them as commodities to trade (can't wait to read how our boy reacts to this turd when they inevitably meet).
    Hibiki adopts the Hyuman racist views on other races, with the toxic mentality that the other races were just unfortunate to be born as such races, and how it is only natural that they should be killed. She also seems to get a view on someone's worth, and never seem to think that their worth could change (won't go into any deeper details on that for spoiler reasons).

    In the manga and LN, the side heroes were introduced during the events of season 1, but since they didn't know if the story would get a second season, they wanted to avoid distracting exposition that wouldn't pay off during the events of season 1, so they just focused on the main character. Going into season 2, because the MC's story starts to involve the side heroes, they had to go ahead and get those introductions out of the way, then start the storyline where they left off.

    Tomoki and Hibiki are the Goddess' declared heroes sent to 'save' Hyumanity. Mainly this is a vanity project set up by the Goddess to take advantage of the brief window she had to access Earth and snatch some beautiful kids that match her tastes. The two Human champions are going to disrupt everything. They are too powerful for the Royalty around them to resist, and they both have their own desires and will force changes based on their desires. Hibiki seems more reasonable, but she has a Japanese based sense of Justice and she will slowly but surely change the Kingdom around her to match her desires. Or at least that is the plan.
    Tomoki is a brat. A shut-in given unbelievable power. The goddess went to extra lengths to get this guy to come out of his shell and act like her champion. Tomoki is poison. A cancer that will eat away at the Empire and threaten the entire world. Tomoki has an over inflated ego after receiving all this power. The guy is unstable, any set back throws him into a tantrum. He is abusive. Domineering. Trash. And his powers let him get away with it. Tomoki's greed knows no bounds, because nobody will stop him.

    I have yet to watch the new season of Moonlit Fantasy but I am very excited to see it. I prefer to binge watch my shows so it will be a bit before I am able to see it. That being said, I actually prefer slow burn shows that do a lot of character development and world building. I become more emotionally involved and find the pay off far more enjoyable when it is done right. I always look back at stories like "Stein's Gate" for fine examples of a slow burn that completely blows your mind once it all pays off. The story would be so much impactful without all the slow burn that was building into a crescendo of emotions once it all starts popping off. I am happy to hear that Moonlit Fantasy is taking that slow burn approach considering it has so much going on at the moment. It sounds to me like it will be very satisfying if they are taking the time to actually develop all the different things going on in the story.

    There is a translation of the written story, although it's the web novel. The fake hero? He's more of a *corrupted* hero. The kingdom he was summoned to was a technological nation, moving away from religious worship. The princess who greeted him? She loathed the worship her mother followed in summoning him. She looks on him as a tool, not a hero, and she has been using her sex as a weapon to enslave him to her own will. She also noted the power in his eyes and had devices made to protect her from it, which is good for her because anybody affected effectively becomes his slave - and yes the girls he surrounds himself with are now his in every sense of the word. As for his corruption? Encouraged by the princess as a further means of controlling him. If he had been "sponsored" by somebody (or perhaps some nation) that would encourage his better traits? I have no doubt he'd be a true champion on par with the other secondary summons. Now, regarding his impact/influence? Thanks to the charm power of his eyes, he has effectively dismantled the demons' intelligence network in the kingom that summoned him, as a single glance is all it takes and the target/victim not only adores him but becomes addicted to the effect and will suffer extreme withdrawal if denied further exposure to it (web novel ruminations of a demon commander during the preparations for the battle the MC got kidnapped into). As it is, he's a pawn of the princess, to be used to her benefit and discarded once he proves no longer useful.

      @scott644 7 месяцев назад

      @@Espiritu_Analysis Ah but there are a couple of absolutes in the hero concept/genre. A corrupted hero can be redeemed as a hero, while a fake hero cannot. Further, that world's definition of a hero is somebody summoned as such by the world's goddess. Add to that he honestly represents a prevailing attitude among hyumans regarding self-interest over everything. Nah, he's clearly a hero - just not something we as the viewers would consider heroic, and that makes his existence as such a pretty significant piece of social commentary.

    • @jorgecarreras4214
      @jorgecarreras4214 3 месяца назад

      In this case, he's both. He's a fake hero because he's never done anything actually heroic, but still wants everyone, especially himself, to see him as a hero and uses the title the Bug Goddess gave him to get perks AND ABUSE he doesn't deserve.
      Then he becomes a corrupted hero atop that because even when he does try doing something heroic, he either turns on his own heroic acts, such as running away from the demon fortress the instant he lost his immortality perk, or happily lets himself be manipulated by Princess Lily.
      AND that doesn't even go into how he'll happily abuse his Charm Eye to brainwash anyone and everyone he wants in order to benefit himself. His harem party serves him, both in battle and in bed, only because they're under his mental thrall. He has no qualms using his charm magic to get better deals from merchants, even trying it on Tomoe to have her give him her katana, a gift from her beloved Master Makoto, and did charm Lime into nearly giving up his katana untile Tomoe stopped it.
      Now, in the most recent episodes featuring him, or referring to him, it's become clear that if his eye is resisted and he's aware it's resisted, he obsesses on "correcting" that, such as becoming fixated into trying to drag Tomoe into his harem, at all costs, damn the consequences, when she rebuffed his unwelcome advances and banned him from any and every brank of Kuzanoha's market...

    Tomoki is one of the easiest asshats in anime to enthusiastically hate. I always loved this where Tomoe shows how his is merely a skeevy pest to the truly powerful.
    I'm hoping the anime doesn't completely skip over anything else Tomoki....might do like a villain. That Charm Evil Eye is horrifying!
    Princess Lily really pushed him over a one-way edge.
    Mora is 12 years old, btw.

    oh thank god this is double cour. I was wondering on the pacing so far. I dig this show, and how it plays out with the godess of this world. I think it is pretty obvious that the MC will eventually get the female hero on his side, being that they did know each other in the previous world. The other dude, if they don't kill him instantly, he may get a redemption arc. So far he's been a pos

    Almost everyone says an anime has to do something to catch peoples attention in the first episode and thats not wrong per se, but I feel like thats part of what made the trash isekai boom where 90% of light novel and manga are just gimmick of the week
    Meanwhile we have Tsukimichi that doesn't really do anything that impressive or attention grabing, it's just a good show that builds it's world, factions and characters slowly but steadily and yet many will ignore it bc they'll label it as just another isekai and a bad one at that bc "it's copying slime!" (can't even say how many times I heard that one) even though it came out first lmao

    Like a saying an old Witcher once said “The World doesn’t need a hero it needs a professional”. Seriously what is it with fantasy isekai summon immature teenagers instead real bonafide heroes or warriors fully age up they throw around the title hero to anyone think they hot shit or incompetent it lost all meaning.

      "a villain needs to create a life needing a save" That is the worst way I have seen a person word something in a while. A villain could steal something, that has nothing to do with saving a life... This is what happens when you can't think outside of basic concepts.............

      Also by ur own logic those heroes in Moonlit Fantasy are not heroes based on ur wordings because they are taking lives, Demons sure but they are lives, ur logic falls apart because now ur saying u have to save a life to be a hero but if ur taking it ur a villain but those heroes are taking lives. So now there villains, u legit just proved my point.

    I honestly love this series. Honestly I know why they did not have the "Hero's" in the last season, and the first few episodes are mint to catch up, but honestly I HATE when anime does this. Shows like So I am a spider, would have been so much better with out the Human parts to mess it up and just had one or two episodes to give to the humans instead of a mix... I wish they would not do that with this one, but they know I will still watch.

      Yeah. Would have been better if the story had the chronological order intact, instead of jumping back and forth over a decade so the human characters could be shown every so often.

He's not being critical of the anime, he's saying how a specific character makes it interesting and he wants to see where the story goes and also expressing excitement about where the story could go. Nothing wrong with that. I understand you only joined RUclips about 38 days ago but you should try and understand the content more and understand why it exists before being too critical of it.
