What would it be on PlayStation 4? I cannot enter the FSS mode and its driving me crazy
How would us use the FFS scanner playing on XBox one ?
Does the d scan actually do anything? I don't notice a difference from when I drop into a system vs when I charge the scanner
2 weeks late, but, eh, in case you haven't figured it, if you used d-scanner you don't have to scan when first opening FSS in a new system (by holding the middle mouse button)
You have explained well. Thank you. Also tho, do I need to buy the scanner from the shop to be able to surface scan? I just started yesterday so.. I am learning how to play the game at the moment.
Yes. The FSS is built into the ship free but you need a surface scanner to do the detailed probing. It costs about 250k so you have to grind a little to get it.

A lot of ppl don't use the default keybinds so go into keybinds and check yourself
Im still dumb, how do you use DSS? What do I press? I installed it already but not sure if I installed it in the right place.
yea that kinda shit seems to be a secret with these tutorial videos ive noticed... they expect u to figure it out in the tutorials im guessin
You place it into a fire group. And it will run in Analysis mode. You press x to honk a system..

Appreciate the video but Jesus!! your very first line is like "I'm gonna do a D scan" and you did. But how? You failed the first test, you assumed we all knew, I sure as Hell did not. If you are going to teach, teach properly.
This is not helping at all. I wish people understood that new players dont know WTF you are on about. A tutorial should be step by step. You need to do this, so hit this key, go here, hit that key, this does this, that does that......... Ill find ANOTHER tutorial. Sheesh!
bruh let me know when you find that tutorial. I just gave up on the game, because I was tired of looking at videos that don't explain HOW to actually do something.
