For "Best Vocalist of the Year (Classical Music)" and "Discovery of the Year" The composer Igor Krutoy also won "Best Song" Award for "Love of Tired Swans" (so Prince Di has 3 .. )
Dimash was offered a position with the Kazakh national opera when he was 20, but this was not the path he wanted. He went on to earn a second degree in Contemporary voice in addition to his degree in Classical voice. He continues to work on a masters degree in Composition despite his busy performance schedule, and he says he will continue through a PhD. He has said that when he retires he wants to teach voice. He is a far and deep thinking young man who constantly strives for improvement.
You should listen to his pure classical singing with Aida Garifullina (top 5 soprano on earth currently) in Italian.....Ti Amo Cosi together with legendary Lara Fabian. So, so, so beautiful.......its a treasure really.....all three great singers.....😍😍😍

If I remember correctly, Dimash was offered a spot at the Astana Opera House. He declined on the grounds that he was still too young and wanted to experiment with his voice. Who else besides Dimash is able to connect the dots between rock, pop, opera and folk music so masterfully?

Great reaction from you and great pointing out by you how he is flattening his tongue and dropping his jaw at the high notes and how relaxed his throat is. He is also, I think, relaxing and lifting his soft palate in the nasopharynx up to let a 'dome effect' for the sound to resonate in. Elongating the back of his mouth into a narrow oval, almost, rather than a wide, low 'dome' for the lower sounds where it appears to me he's using the base of the pharynx/larynx more. Is there something to that and does that make sense to you?

I once heard a reactor call him a one man opera. It was so fitting as he really would be able to cover all the voice types except for maybe bass even though... In the last 3 years his baritone range developed so much getting so much deeper and richer - so maybe it's just a matter of time...
dimash don't do bass?? i don't understand about all those thing, in fact i don't know the different between bass & baritone but i think dimash would be full packed if he do bass as well. i only understand deep,high,soft voice lol
Let me shed some rigtt into this matter. Baritone... F2 till F4 Bass... (C2 if possible) D2 till C4 Dimash can do F2, but haven't yet hear him sing lower than that.

Tired of all these coaches, ignoramuses, calling all the high notes of Dimash with one single word that they know - "falsetto"! Dimash does not fit into the usual framework of musical classification; he can do anything. Just everything that the vast majority of vocalists know only partially. And the coaches lack knowledge, education and competence to correctly classify even individual moments in the vast range of Dimash. And gender stereotypes are also oppressing many - how is it that a man suddenly “soprano”? Dimash recently said in an interview that he was trained to sing classical soprano! Nature saved him such an opportunity, he really has such a feature - the vocal cords are thicker than ordinary people. He is unique. And this is happiness for all of us! He is - music! It is worth adding that Dimash has a reference jaw in this concert performance!))) This video can be shown to students as an example of correct positioning and the ability to open your mouth!)
Some peoples believe that Elvis living around the world, that's becouse the stupid's moms ever pregnant. I was 15 meters from him in this concert and believe me nothing is the same for me after that, I thought , I'm 55, I see any singer all around the worlds but never someone like him. Just amazing, the sacrifice he did studing, the talent he have inside and the gift he had from God , make him who he is. unique.
You should review "Daybreak" at Bastau with English subtitles. The song tells the true story of a small child whose parents gave their lives to save him from a cable car accident. Be prepared to weep (as I do every time I hear it).

I agree, I too would like to hear him sing in a well known opera, a full opera on stage as a character. All that talent. His popularity could bring Opera to the fore with a young audience of followers. Wishful thinking on our parts.

He did Olympico with Igor & musicians & choir onstage with him & for the 2nd song Igor composed for him Passione which is another Italian opera song & at Igor's birthday celebration in Moscow Dimash sang Ulisse with opera singer Aida Garifullina & Ti Amo Cosi with Aida & Lara Fabian. He did sing stacatto F6 easily multiple times which is the same note the queen of the night sings in the magic flute . He did it in ( Diva Dance & Your Love & Guests from afar please stay ) the last song was during the Asian Culture Carnival . I really hope he will sing the magic flute someday but I doubt that because he seems to be focusing on his original songs recently .

I saw the perform live in Brussels a week ago and they do not perform, they hold a Ritual. The performance always starts with smudging (holy sage, blown into the crowd) and a prayer. Some of the songs are actual old blessings mothers sang their sons. The experience Heilung is out of this world, an intense and beautiful and intimate experience. Agree with you, back then in 2017 his baritone was already there. I think around 2018 late his baritone became more weightier.

Tired of all these coaches, ignoramuses, calling all the high notes of Dimash with one single word that they know - "falsetto"!
Dimash does not fit into the usual framework of musical classification; he can do anything. Just everything that the vast majority of vocalists know only partially. And the coaches lack knowledge, education and competence to correctly classify even individual moments in the vast range of Dimash. And gender stereotypes are also oppressing many - how is it that a man suddenly “soprano”?
Dimash recently said in an interview that he was trained to sing classical soprano! Nature saved him such an opportunity, he really has such a feature - the vocal cords are thicker than ordinary people. He is unique. And this is happiness for all of us!

I agree, I too would like to hear him sing in a well known opera, a full opera on stage as a character. All that talent. His popularity could bring Opera to the fore with a young audience of followers. Wishful thinking on our parts.

He did Olympico with Igor & musicians & choir onstage with him & for the 2nd song Igor composed for him Passione which is another Italian opera song & at Igor's birthday celebration in Moscow Dimash sang Ulisse with opera singer Aida Garifullina & Ti Amo Cosi with Aida & Lara Fabian. Igor also composed & dimash sang Where Love Lives at New Wave & he reworked Know that now has a music video on his channel Dimash Kudaibergen.

I want to hear him sing the entire Magic Flute, all the parts, including the Queen of the Night.
He did sing stacatto F6 easily multiple times which is the same note the queen of the night sings in the magic flute . He did it in ( Diva Dance & Your Love & Guests from afar please stay ) the last song was during the Asian Culture Carnival . I really hope he will sing the magic flute someday but I doubt that because he seems to be focusing on his original songs recently .

They're a mix of Northern Europeans, all experts who live and perform the old European lifestyle, spanning from the early dark-ages up to the viking age.

I saw the perform live in Brussels a week ago and they do not perform, they hold a Ritual. The performance always starts with smudging (holy sage, blown into the crowd) and a prayer. Some of the songs are actual old blessings mothers sang their sons. The experience Heilung is out of this world, an intense and beautiful and intimate experience. The crowd howled like wolves in between songs :D
