One of the many things I truly respect about Megan Ashley is that you can tell she really thinks about what she’s saying before she says it. And I appreciate that. Because it is so easy for us to just say what we want, how we want, etc. but to really be aware of what you’re saying is not a trait lot of people carry.
He’s a good friend, he’s asking the hard questions, holding Meg accountable and making her AND us think. I also love that Megan is being honest about her part in her marriage not working. Sometimes we only talk about what the other person did, but not what we did that ended a relationship.
Biblically, boys weren't considered old enough to fight in war until they were 20 years old. Jesus didn't start his ministry until his 30s. I hope that gives some perspective. I believe that the first 30 years of our lives is for preparation, learning, and building a firm foundation in the Lord.

I so can relate. I wanted or thought I wanted kids and marriage so bad when I was young so I did that with no understanding of what it takes to be a mother or a wife. Hey, I was a dancer, I literally was a paid therapist. I am now in Cyber Security and what’s crazy is, I am literally getting hired for the skills that made men sit and talk to me for hours. Yes many men have to pay for conversation but I’m happy I was delivered. I don’t even date men who attend.

He’s on it with his analysis of men performing for other men. I just feel like him saying it’s because they want another man, dilutes where he could go with what he’s saying. It flattens it. Because the male-for-male performance is so much more robust than merely “they go both ways”. I need him to expand his mind to see the depths of what is really happening between men. It’s not merely sexual desire. That’s not even the core of it.

I agree with Tony about 25 and over. The older generation was messy and carrying tons of family "secrets". Being married young did not benefit them at all.
In order for God to get the Glory, in these times, how we grow and learn will help others which helps you grow more. That’s why we should trust how Heavenly Father and have a real relationship because in those times of uncertainty in the growing, he gives the answer or the “process”. When we were form in the womb, he knew us. He has the answer. Jesus is the process. Follow him.

I now understand why I was (blindly) waiting to watch this. I wasn't ready. I'm in a place in my life that I know I'm being called and some of the decisions that I have to make are super hard and so scary. Its time though. Thank you thank you for speaking on double minded-ness. because you truly cannot have your cake and eat it too. Its Gods way or no way. Period.

In order for God to get the Glory, in these times, how we grow and learn will help others which helps you grow more. That’s why we should trust how Heavenly Father and have a real relationship because in those times of uncertainty in the growing, he gives the answer or the “process”. When we were form in the womb, he knew us. He has the answer. Jesus is the process. Follow him.
